Talikha Tella had seen Aleksei Koukleva in a lecture hall at Oxford University and known the was his. She had plans. Big plans. Every single cousin of hers who had ever told her she’d never find a mate would suck it because she had, and he was beautiful.
Aleksei Koukleva had never seen a more beautiful woman that the student who had grabbed and kept his attention at a lecture he’d done as a favor to a friend. He was the mate he had always imagined. He could not wait to get her back to Russia and his Tiger Streak.
Being kidnapped, beaten and halfway starved to death changes a person and Tali doubts everything she ever thought she knew about her mate. They have to fight to keep themselves together. The hardest battle must be fought within themselves.
Her parents should’ve supported her. Aleksei is a terrible mate and is totally wrong. I just can’t stand another person telling her that she should be ok with rape. Aleksei did nothing in my opinion to win her back and as he kidnapped and enslaved her. Her parents should’ve supported her and rescued her from her kidnapper and when they didn’t that was the last straw.
She is right not to trust him and she needed someone to support her, but no.
World is good, and loved Tali but the villain alexsei should’ve been removed from this book.
