➳An unexpected smutty romance that has declared a true meaning to Alexa Riley's writing of romance...
➳When it comes down to smutty romances, Alexa Riley know how to write them or sure. That's why whenever an ARC sign up she goes live I'm instantly drawn to signing up no matter what. You already know what they write: possessive alpha males, with pure instant-attraction that makes you swoon over the characters. In this case, Emily and Dylan are already married and have kids of their own. But after going through the whole process and lifestyle of being a stay-at-home mother, Emily now cannot stand the idea of not doing anything for her little boys and the time is there for her to do nothing. That's when she applies for a job at a library in which she ends up having to deal with aa well known creepy boss. Something that has triggered Dylan to keep a close eye on her. His possessive alpha male is one that I have read from AR's book EVERYTHING FOR HER.
➳In a way I found this rather interesting and I wanted to read more for sure, but at the same time, I surely missed the whole "I saw you, you are mine" first base that AR usually writes in romance stories. Overall, this is a romance that once again I truly did enjoy and cannot wait to read more for sure.

I always can count on Alexa Riley to bring the OTT, steamy and safe reads. Now, they are giving us these awesome stories of amazing married couples, who are hopelessly in love.
-no cheating -ow/om drama- pesky boss who takes a liking to the heroine -OTT caveman alpha male hero -very likable heroine -lots of steam -no violence of a sexual nature -great epilogues -1 year and then 6 years later
Super hot sex between a husband and wife who were high school sweethearts and their love has stood the test of time. Super cute couple with cute kids and a cute little life. The biggest problem Emily faced was boredom when her children started school. And Dylan's obsessive alpha tendencies where she was concerned were the highlight of this story. Typical Alexa Riley yumminess!
3.5 stars - I enjoyed it very much. If you like hot alpha males and deliciously hot sex scenes then you can never be disappointed in this duo. This is definitely a good escape for those who need to get away for a few hours…
"We've belonged to each other before we even really knew what love was."
a cute and short story by alexa riley. the blurb explains it all! the husband and wife in the story have been high school sweethearts and each other's one and only. their love has withstood the test of time and life's various trials and tribulations. it was such a warm and fluffy read, chock-full of love, loyalty, support, a few intimate scenes, and of course a HEA. that being said, i know the possessiveness of the male lead (dylan) is meant to be hot, but seriously? watching his wife from the car for her entire work day and putting an audiovisual tracker on her to make sure she made it through her first day? some people might think that's cute but it annoyed me no end.
I’ve said it before but I just ADORE this AR married couple stories! The unfaltering love and devotion plus the crazy obsessed hubby, totally does it for me! Oh, and of course, his filthy talk just makes him even more perfect! The perfect smutty combo! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
“You’re not crazy, you’re insane.” I lean in, brushing my mouth against his. “From the moment I met you.” “I love it.” “I love you.”

ooooooooh!!!! More of AR brand of married porn!! GIMME NOW!!!!
"Wrapped In My Wife" is the story of Emily and Dylan. A wife feeling alone after her kids go off to school.. A super possessive husband who doesnt mind his wife working, but when he comes to know she has a new boss also doesnt mind spying on her.. Some crazy jealousy.. Some stalking.. Some hot but gooey sex.. A detailed HEA! If you love AR married trope like me, this diabetes inducing pair of lovebirds is just the thing to make your bitter coffee sweet. Safe 4/5
Obvi, it’s about a married, something I don’t read enough of. It’s short, HOT, and a perfect little novella if you’re looking for a light and fun read! You get the full on OTT Alpha in this one!
Alexa Riley is my go to author for smutty little shorts and they rarely disappoint. This one definitely didn’t disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Now I usually love most of Alexa Riley's novellas because they're sexy, smutty guilty pleasures that don't require any deep pondering and can be finished in under an hour. This one had the usual sexy couple, but these MC's were already married yet still humping like happy bunnies:
It was a cute and funny little story with a H who was totally besotted with his wife and I did admire the fact that they were both each other's first and only lovers. The H Dylan was a bit OTT when it came to his stalkery behaviour, but it was written in a humorous manner and he did try so hard to respect his wife's desire to get a job because she was bored. It was fairly entertaining and enjoyable but it wasn't the best that I've read from this author. I have to admit that there were a couple of things that are pet peeves of mine that annoyed me. These pet peeves tend to crop up a lot in all of Alexa Riley's and Jordan Silver's ( and a few other authors of smutty romances ) and I figured I would use this review to address them.
1. The first pet peeve is that I don't personally find it sexy for a man to want to sniff his wife's panties after she's worn them for a whole day at work. It's a personal fastidious thing with me so I don't expect anybody to understand it. I really do NOT get why some men are so obsessed with sniffing the crotches of worn panties:
2. My other pet peeve is the H whose penis keeps dripping pre-cum ( pre ejaculatory fluid ) like a leaking faucet:
I actually did some research on this on the internet and discovered that only 1 in 10 men experience this and those guys see it as a problem and not as something that's sexy. Plus those few guys who experience that phenomenon when they're turned on, say that it can cause hygiene problems for them. I personally don't find the "leaky faucet of pre cum" penis image very sexy to read about during sex scenes in smutty romance novels. That's just my opinion. If anybody's interested in reading more about guys with this problem you can check out:
The ending of this novella had a situation where the H goes all alpha male OTT possessive and jealous, causing him to break some bones in a wannabe OM's hands. I know it's only a story but the H boasts that he's rich and has influential friends in the "right places" so he knows he can get away with that type of behaviour. I found it a bit radical to be honest. I would have preferred if the H had merely punched the wannabe OM in the gut or face and left it there, rather than resorting to extreme violence. The wannabe OM was extremely annoying and he did sexually harass the heroine so it's understandable for the H to get mad and want to hurt him. In the final analysis, I do understand that this is fiction after all and that writers in this sub genre are all competing with each other to create the sexiest, smutty romance. I will keep looking forward to another full length book from this author that will be just as good as Everything for Her.
I love Alexa Riley's OTT heroes! I enjoyed this one and I love how sweet and devoted they are to each other.
The story is about Dylan and Emily.
They've been married for over seven years now and have twin boys. He owns a construction company and she's a housewife.
Their twins are starting kindergarten and she doesn't know what to do on her free time. She decides to work at the library but it's not what she expected. She's not really enjoying it. And her boss is so creepy.
I love how possessive Dylan is when it comes to his wife. It's a little crazy but it's just the way I like it.
Dylan and Emily have been inseparable since meeting her freshman year of high school. They've now been married seven years, have twin sons, and Dylan's business has become successful causing him to not be home as much.
As their sons start school, Emily is lost as to how to spend her days. She decides to interview for a job, which doesn't sit well with Dylan, even though she doubts she'll get it. But she does and Dylan, upon seeing she needs to do this for herself, remains in his caveman instincts where his beloved wife is concerned and supports her.
Emily's new job at the library isn't what she expected and soon she's working late, being promoted, and drawing too much attention from the new director.
Dylan, unable to shake his need to ensure his wife is always safe, contacts a friend, Michael, (aka Saint - brief phone cameo from him and Jeannette - see Taking the Fall Series) for equipment to "keep an eye on her." When he sees how her boss looks at her, Dylan knows it's time to step in.
Emily takes matter into her own hands when cornered by her new boss, but is extremely grateful upon seeing her husband. However, Emily's initial issue of feeling adrift still remains as does Dylan's overly busy schedule.
How will Dylan and Emily compromise? What about Emily's boss? Can Emily find a job she's happier at?
One-click now and follow along as a married couple, deeply in love since meeting, each other's one and only, navigate the changes having now school age children can bring.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
I read the book and it was just ok. Not enough sex for a pure smut (but still hot), so I got invested in the blurb. Housewife dream was never my dream. But she at least did volunteer at the library.
It was ok. The cover grabbed my attention and I decided to read it. A sexy cover, but the book was not that sexy! 😉 It had all Alexa Riley mantras but it was not her best obviously. The heroine started her job because she has nothing to do. I was disappointed that she had no ambition. But I don’t judge people either, if she is ok with being a housewife then so it is. People should do what makes her happy. To be a strong woman, no one needs to be an independent one. But I strongly believe that every woman should do something to create her own identity.👩💼😘
I really liked this one by AR. I love a story about a couple that’s already married. Dylan was of course the perfect alpha that AR is so known for and Emily is a sweet heroine with just the right amount of sass.
To be honest, I really like her books that already start off with a married couple. It's different from her usual formula especially since it's like a pre hea and there's a blip/problem but they are already together.
Read: I liked it. Didn't read it all in one go so spacing it out when I was free probably made it more enjoyable. But his wife needs to get a job. Romantically you love your hubs. Sexually he fulfils your needs. Maybe even entertainment etc. Your kids are your priority and make you a parent. But intellectually stimulate yourself. Quiting her library career like that because a pervert made a move. Your husband sorted him now go have some fun, and shelve books. 😂
Mini review: Finally not a virgin heroine! I enjoyed an after marriage story because everyone thinks about HEA and that's it. Not with this one. After years in marriage with two child, they're still HOT af. Husband always ready and available is a dream. Their problem is lack of communication. Well, it happens a lot. But they're so cute especially when they stalked each other. I love the light conflict without being OTT. It was such a fun and sexy read.
I don't know why I'm a sucker for short stories with possessive alphas but here I am reading more. Good short read to satiate the need for a possessive lad who loves his wife with extra sexy bits.
4.5 ⭐️ I would say it’s time for a tiny change and boom.. there it is! Slightly different from typical Alexa Riley book but nevertheless enjoyable. It also had more realistic touch to it. I loved all the characters and epilogues. Recommended.
I grabbed this because it sounded good and I am all for a married couple still wanting to fuck each other on every surface years after they've been together. I am also all for alpha males who are possessive and jealous AF and the spouses that get off on it.
But...this started out good but it went way over the top, even for me.
The sex was hot. I'll give it that, but this would have been better - for me - had there not been the creepy ass boss who hits on Emily and Dylan going from Alpha to psycho. The drama was overly dramatic. I liked the game Dylan and Emily played and their tease/taunts to one another were sexy but good grief.
Emily has been a stay at home mom for about 6 years with her twin sons while Dylan is off building million dollar homes with his construction business. The Wallace's aren't in need of money but what is Emily to do with her time now that the boys will be in school a few hours a day??? Emily applies for a job a the library and out of every applicant she gets the position instantly and must start with the new director immediately.
Dylan is hella pissed that she won't be home, at his beck and call, wet for his dick and in his constant sight 24/7 with this job. He tries to be supportive and pretends to be all while keeping his wife sufficiently fucked into the mattress numerous times a day but really he doesn't like it and has his buddy put surveillance in the library so he can hear and see his wife at all times.
Um... putting cameras and microphones all over a public library... I am not even going to go into the number of flags that raises because it's the least of worries with this story.
Emily literally is on the job for less than a full day before she starts bitching about hating her job and missing her boys. One day. Really? This majority of this short story takes place in two days with two epilogues a year after and six years later but two days. I mean, I get it. It's nice to be home with your family but... yeah. I can't even try to explain my feelings with how she whines about how much she has done, how above and beyond she has gone for her job IN TWO DAYS.
Yeah, Emily and Dylan are totes crazy in love with each other and love their sex. But, I would have loved it to be less dramatic and maybe more of them playing games during the day and keeping the sex to nooners or later at night and not how they went at it.
I don't know. Dylan didn't do it for me after she got the job he was...
Crap. What am I trying to say without ranting?????
Look. I read a lot of Alpha males and can even deal with crazy partners who try to carve their initials in their lovers chest to claim them *waves to Landry* but this was teetering on ridiculous.
“I only wanted to eat your p*ssy. I swear I was just going to get you off, but once I tasted how sweet you were I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop. Goddamn, you’re tight this morning.”
Öhöm.
“Goddamn, it still tastes just like it did the night I popped your cherry.”
This story was so cute! I love when Alexa Riley gives us stories on couples that are already married I find this very interesting. Hero and heroine have twin boys and when they go to school our heroine starts working and her creepy boss is flirting with her. Our alpha obsessed hero though wont have it. Cute epilogue with 3 kids!
