This is a great series that I enjoyed reading. It is basically the movie in written form but with more depth and explanation for character reactions. I highly recommend if you didn't fully understand parts of the movie to read these books. 😃🌸

Overall I like the product, however for sake of completeness for this book which is said to be a celebration of the first 10 years of the MCU, it would have been complete if Marvel had included a comic adaption of the MCU film “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
That film introduced Vision and also had the first appearances of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (not including their appearances in the “Captain America: Winter Soldier” stinger). An adaption of that film was the only one from Phase 1 and 2 missing, it’s a glaring omission and needed to be in here. Hopefully if the make a second Omnibus, they will include it in that.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe Comics Omnibus is a genuinely impressive collection -- an absolutely massive tome collecting all the tie-in comics to the MCU films through Ant-Man and the Wasp.
However, the comics themselves are all over the place: great art with strong lines and expressive characters, awful plasticky characters and muddy colors that almost look rushed, strong prequel stories that flesh out characters like Black Panther, boring and borderline confusing retellings of the movies, it's all here.
I'm not going to go through each comic individually, but in general I'll say this: The retellings of the movies are usually pretty awful, even when they try a trick like giving them an interesting narrator. They add nothing to the movies, and just rush through plot points to get to the end. The prequels and other tie-ins can be pretty good, however. Usually there's not a huge important plot happening, but you do get a little more characterization and maybe a bit of set-up for a minor character or plot point in the related movie. It's small payoffs if any, but some of these can be pretty interesting.
Overall though, this is an expensive collection that doesn't add much to the MCU. It's a shame that this universe isn't thriving in comics, considering the excellent comics stories and characters it's based on. Everything here is very explicitly tied in to a movie, and it all feels very supplemental without the ability to really breathe and tell real stories. Good for MCU die-hards, but don't sweat it if this collection seems too expensive for you. It's probably not worth it for anyone but the most dedicated fans.

So finally finished! This is a really good read for anyone that loves or is interested in the MCU/films. I really like the 'prelude' and other materials that aren't pulled straight from the films but tried to tie up loose ends or create more background.
I agree with other reviewers, it was odd that the Age of Ultron film did not merit it's own comic but just lightly touched on in a few panels of other stories.

Really good omnibus of the graphic novels which adapted the movies as well as some interconnecting stories that add context to the movies.
Doesn't include a few movies - Age of Ultron being the most glaring omission - otherwise it is well worth the purchase.

Altough a bit pricey this is a must have for comic and MCU enthusiats. A collection of al the 'prelude' comic up to Infinity war. It's a pity we probably have to wait another ten years for volume 2.
