Megan’s last relationship was an epic fail. It left her shattered, and unwilling to risk her heart again. Why was the sexy jogger she passed on her way to work each day taking over her every thought? Her triumph at driving past him without looking is short-lived when she has to pull over because of car trouble. Who’d have thought having a flat tire would be a good thing?
Wade had watched that same little car cruise past him each morning on his run to work but was never able to catch a clear glimpse of the driver. His curiosity is about to be assuaged when he turns the corner and spots the little yellow Cavalier pulled off to the side of the road. He feels an immediate attraction when she turns around wearing a Blue Jays jersey, and her feisty attitude only adds to his interest.
Wade loves fixing things. A regular Mr. Fix-It. But is Megan’s psyche beyond even his repair?
Megan and Wade's story was a very long and emotional journey. They both had issues, both were very insecure and had difficulty communicating. They were constantly jumping to the wrong conclusions about each other. I honestly couldn't get into Megan's character at all. I tried. The storyline was good but I feel like it was drawn out and could have been much shorter.
I really enjoyed this second book in The Fly-Inn Series. Wade has his work cut out for him trying to convince Megan she is worthy of being loved. As with Ms Edwards first book you may require tissues for this one as well. Some of Megan’s issues are ones we all have.
