When Brenden realizes he’s being sold to the highest bidder by his stepfather, he escapes and runs into trouble—literally into a ditch. The hottie tow truck driver who rescues him is all the things Brenden forgot existed in a man—kind, protective, calm. The last thing he wants to do is endanger his knight in shining armor—the goons after him are dangerous.
Alpha with a hunger
After a rocky childhood, the last thing Hale thought he ever wanted was children, so he’s always stayed far away from omegas. Until the day Brenden crashes into his life. Suddenly, all his primal instincts are engaged, and he’ll stop at nothing to keep the omega with an attitude safe.
Safe from everyone but him, that is. Whether Brenden knows it or not, he’s just found his forever.
Welcome to Knot Valley, a sleepy small town in Eastern Washington. Sorry Knot Sorry is the 2nd in the series about super dominant alphas and quirky omegas finding love and creating families in an alternate universe where mpreg is possible. Some of the books are reimagined from a different series. If you like your MM steamy and endings happy, this hot series will get you right in the feels.
Briton Frost writes books in an alternate universe where men can impregnate each other. Some of the books are reimagined books from a different series because Briton can't stop playing the "what if?" game and doesn't want to let characters go without exploring them in different situations.
Knot Valley is a small town full of big love--virile alphas and quirky omegas fall in love on the regular around here. If you like your MM steamy and endings happy, this hot series will get you right in the feels.
Warm fuzzies! Finally, a series with the birth 🥹 I get so excited, but nervous about, where....One time I read an Mpreg that had the baby come out of dad's belly button... That really fucked me up. (This one's a C-section 🙌)
Omg! And what Brendan's step dad had planned for him was disturbing.
Okay, I confess I was drawn in by the awful/awesome pun in the title. But the book was actually really good. It had humor, sexiness, some plot (though I’m sure some would argue that it was all wrapped up a little too neatly, it didn’t bother me), and something that really made it stand apart from some alpha/omega books I’ve read: a strong emphasis on consent and respect. Sure, the alpha pretty much instantly fell in love with the omega, but he let him make his own choices, and over and over told him he would stop at any time and they’d only do things when he was ready for them.
Briton, if you’re reading this review: 1) Your Facebook link only goes to FB in general and I can’t find you; 2) I’d sign up for your newsletter in a hot minute if you had one; and 3) your editing/proofing was overall really, really good, but fell apart a little at the end (most noticeably when the boy/girl twins were referred to as girls). I highlighted a few minor errors I can pass on if you want to contact me.
I.loved.it. Yes, Brennen and Hale get together really fast, but they acknowledge that. Plus, this author conveys so much emotion in such a short book that this really didn't feel like insta-love to me at all. Their draw to each other, and desire to belong and take care of each other, is there for all to see. The sexual tension is delicious and the sex is HAWT. I'm not always a fan of dirty talk in books but, man, this author nails it. I got my hopes up when Hale says, 'Call me Daddy and I'll call you whatever you want' but, alas, it never came to pass. That's just as well, though, considering Brennen's stepfather was a jerk...it just wouldn't have been appropriate. But, author, if you ever feel the need to write a non age-play, non adult baby Daddy book, don't hold yourself back! LOL
Brennen and Hale were awesome characters - Brennen was sassy, but not overly bratty and Hale was a strong, sexual but kind and caring alpha. Loved them!
Big Man Wow this was so unexpected. I enjoyed Book Two even more than the First in the Love in Knot Valley series. The storyline was completely unexpected and funny! I've always loved Big Man / Small Man stories. Seemingly too scary because of size, the Big man often is misunderstood. His personality can be a defense mechanism to keep people at a distance so he doesn't get hurt. Gruff, reclusive, scary when angry, lonely, visibly strong and powerful.
In this funny and poignant story the Small man is mouthy, sassy, aggravating, yet vulnerable. He's evasive about his past. These are his defense mechanisms. He's insecure and an emotional wreck after all he's endured. Uncertain, agitated, desperate, and scared. The Small Omega has every right to be afraid. His fear brings out the protective Instinct in the big Alpha who takes it upon himself to assist the Omega. The Omega definitely needs help. They both are together in a secluded area that makes them have to talk, cooperate, and learn to trust. This is a great book. Loved it!
PLEASE READ FIRST MY RATING SYSTEM!!! To my ratings (for all people, who wonder, why I say a 3*-book is a good book and should be readed): 5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like Liberty from Seth King or Save the kids series from EM Leya). it’s like an A+ 4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books) It’s like an A 3* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It’s like an A-B 2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartly, but it was ok) It’s like an C- D 1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (maybe too many mistakes, not a nice plot, or unlogical story, so a NO-GO) It’s like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
A New author as of July 2018. A new to me author as of August 2018. The Author does state at the start of the book that "Some of the books are reimagined from a different series". Aliens somehow changed DNA so some people are Alphas some are Omegas, Male omegas being able to get pregnant and some people remain human and they may or may not carry the gene to change the dna of there offspring. eg A human may carry the alien gene but be human however their first child may be alpha and second child may be human. No real character development. Enjoyable to read. 2.5 stars. Short quick read. Hale a Alpha and Brenden a Omega. MM MPREG.
This book was so sweet. I loved the way that Hale treats Brenden. He was patient and really respected why his fears were holding him back in certain areas and allowed him to control some of the situations to feel safe. This book had a little bit of suspense but it was soft and I actually enjoyed that. I need to be in the right head space to read a dark romance with kidnappings or other high angst scenarios. With this series you can sit back and enjoy the ride without getting overly worked up about what will happen next. Great cozy romance!
I absolutely love this kind of story. Two mc’s coming together. No real angst, no miscommunication, no jealous ex’s, no separation. There was lots of snark and love and laughter and of course lots of heat. I loved both mc’s. They were great together. Although I do wish there was another chapter at the end to show their lives a little more. I can’t wait for Jett’s story.
I listened to this book at 1.45x Author: Briton Frost Plot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars Story. ⭐⭐⭐ stars & why. Each story needed to be a bit longer, more substance, they all went from meeting to loving in 1 chapter. Heat. 🔥🔥flames Narrator.: David Seager Betrayal of the story. 🥉BRONZE to Silver why. He got better each book if listened to at 1.45x.
Hale is a surly, anti social alpha tow truck driver in this nonshifter alpha/omega mpreg tale who meets and falls into insta love with Brendan, an omega who on the surface looks to be a spoiled college brat, but really is a sweet kid running from a bad situation. It’s short, cute, with very few typos. A solid 3.
I actually enjoyed this book more than the first one. I loved how protective Hale was but Braden himself wasn't weak. The editing was really good in this one except for a few minor things at the end. I actually found myself wanting to know about their life together. 3.5/5 stars-rounded up to 4 since goodreads doesn't allow half.
I happened upon this series by accident and it is simply wonderful. One of the best new omegaverse authors I have found. So happy to have found this little world in Knot Valley. Can not wait for book 3!!!!
