Jason made his choice. He joined the invading aliens to fight against humanity, if only temporarily. Unfortunately, his team of deadly female war machines, the War Forgers, didn’t quite agree with that decision. No surprise there. And now he's paying the price. Drawn into a pitched battle with the invaders, Jason and his army are forced to retreat through a space-time rift to the alien homeworld. There, surrounded by more powerful enemies than he has ever faced before, with his troops systematically captured and melted down for their spare parts, he faces his greatest challenge yet. Can he pull the team together and overcome not only his demons, but those of the War Forgers, in time to save humanity? And more importantly, can he save the team itself? This book contains diabolical aliens, robot warfare, violence, swearing, and an ever-growing harem of beautiful machine women.
Isaac Hooke is the best-selling author of the Ethan Galaal series of thriller novels, as well as the SF-themed ATLAS trilogy. When Isaac isn't writing, publishing, and blogging, he's busy cycling and taking pictures in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has a degree in Engineering Physics.
This series of books 📚 was well outlined and planned. By releasing all three 📚 in the series at the same time Isaac H provided continuity. Too often prolific readers of action/Sci/Fi have to wait until the next book in the series is released, causing them to go on to other novels. When the next book does come out the reader has to recall exactly what the last book was about. This was a GREAT 👍action series, with a unique twist, that kept me wanting to know what happens next.
"My two hearts aren't made of stone." Continuing from the exciting conclusion of book2, the action continues throughout this final instalment of Battle Harem, and not all is of the fighting variety. Isaac Hooke's ability to write very visually is maintained, his charters very human despite their mech bodies - and their is always virtual reality to provide light relief. Good book, good story, great series, exceptional battles - a must for anyone enjoying S.F. military type action.
I had somebody missed this trilogy and I had to back track to read them. Well I am glad that I did. Giant Voltron like mechs with a mind melding twist. Poor Jason I feel sorry for him. Having to make time to have sex with so many valkaries. Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure. I look forward to more from this author😀
This series was an easy read, and fulfilled its role as a science fiction trilogy more than adequately. Any book that allows you to suspend belief and just get into the story is a winner. This series does that. Grammar Nazis: No glaring issues to distract from the tale.
The action continues in Isaac's 3rd book of the Harem. Being outnumbered Jason and his army are forced to take a time rift to the Tyrnari home world where they team up with the Princess in order to overthrow the current monarch. Once the do that they will be able to return to earth. The adventure continues with an interesting twist. A must read in my opinion
I just finished this series and I am sad . No more jason and his girls. Actually super battle mechs with human emotions. And sexy hot bodies in virtual reality. You should read these books and you will love them !!!!!!!!!
The third book in the new series with a twist from author Isaac Hooke. Hooke’s writing is again, a little more adult in nature but everything that made you love his writing before is present in this new series. He's changed it up again and this time he's dealing with an AI.
Lacked anything appealing in the fist two chapters to draw reader into story. The fist and in series had a novel concept going for it, but book two just picked up a story that was already bogging down. Did not see a reason to force myself past chapter three.
I was born seventy five years ago and the advances in technology since that time tells me that some of the technology that Mr. Books writes about could well be in our future. I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy.
Unlike most harem books this isn’t an excuse for reading porn it’s a good Science Fiction series that includes a harem but so much sex. Good characters with a good storyline!
It was a novel idea with enough familiar parts to taste like home cooking. There were times where I wished certain things would be explored more, or that the cast was smaller to allow for more focus on certain character but the story never felt shallow.
Way to go Isaac. When will Earth be invited to join the empire? They have someone to sponsor them. Looking forward to more about this group of characters in the future.
Great action and the interaction between characters was first rate!! As always with this authors work the science fiction is as first rate as the adult fantasy part!!!
