Balance Like a Pirate is a manifesto that we may not have everything, but we can get what we need. The three of us set out on a journey to find ways to thrive in the business of work, family life, professional pursuits and our own passions. Fueled with stories from the field we hope this book offers educators opportunities to reflect on ways in which they can reclaim joy, passion and immerse them in life to the fullest extent.

Well, being one of the co-authors, I'm obviously a tad bit biased, but I LOVE this book!!! When I was trying to change the trajectory of balance in my life I could not find any book out there that helped me in the way I needed it so that's why we wrote this book. This book is a labor of love that documents our journeys and ongoing conversations for us to each become the best version of ourselves-for our school, for our family, for ourselves. I have reread this book front to back several times for revision/editing purposes, but enjoyed it every time.
