Kissing her was like breathing in life itself. He craved it. Needed it. He could kiss her until his heart gave out. She was everything for him.

This was such a fantastic finale to one of my favorite shifter series by my favorite shifter romance author! Mara was such a broken and beaten-down heroine after surviving the horrors that she has. She's currently paying for her past decisions by being separated from her shifter half and having to serve time in the underground prison in Bear's Den, where her mate Hudson visits as often as he can.
Hudson is probably my favorite hero of this series so far. He was such an easy-going but steadfastly loyal mate to Mara, and he's absolutely gutted by her past and current situation. I loved seeing them navigate their mate bond as they try to liberate as many imprisoned shifters as they can on their hunt for Mara's tormentor. This novel was also a bittersweet finale to another amazing series by the talented Cecilia Lane, and I cannot wait to read more of her novels ♡

Hudson and Mara's story is a tough one as she is feeling so unworthy based on her prior actions. He knows she is his mate and deserves a chance at love but she is hard to convince. She wants to make it right and it places her in danger.
It is a well written story and I liked the characters. I think the author did a very good job developing their relationship.

As with all books by this author, this is yet again another amazing shifter story and one not to be missed. It is well-written, has an intriguing and extraordinary storyline and is a book I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending.
Where is Ronnie hiding, that is what Hudson wants to know, because she is the reason he cannot go home to a happy mate. Death is the end result for those who find their way into the Hunters’ clutches. Mara survived, only to betray her own kind by being a sniffer for Ronnie: obedience or death, those were her only options. Mara doesn’t believe she deserves forgiveness, love or acceptance. Hudson has a life outside of her; he has friends and family, he doesn’t need her, or so she believes. Mara’s information about Ronnie’s camps enables Hudson to dismantle them one by one, sending out a clear message. From the moment Mara went into her cell, Hudson had a plan in case he ever needed to get her out. With SEA Agents trying to kill Mara and threaten him, it is time to instigate that plan. Hudson is in charge now; he has no other choice but to protect Mara and keep her safe. Hudson knew he could count on his old army buddy, Axel. But something isn’t right; Axel’s daughter Kerry is missing and they have walked into a trap. Axel may have betrayed them, but he had only done what he needed to do to protect his family, the same as Mara had. One couldn’t be right and the other wrong. All around her others were paying for Mara’s actions; it wasn’t right. May be this mission to find Kerry is exactly what Mara needs. Untamed Mate is the sixth book in the Shifters of Bear’s Den series and I would definitely recommend reading the previous books first to get a full understanding of what all is going on! Hudson knows that Mara is his mate, if only he could convince her to accept him. Mara’s past is dragging her down into a spiral of guilt and despair, and while she wishes she could have Hudson, she pushes him away to keep him safe. When her life is threatened, Hudson saves her, only for them to go on a wild adventure to save other shifters from the hunters, including children. With their time together, Hudson hopes to show Mara how great of a team they are, but will Mara be able to forgive herself from her past and accept his love, or will she sacrifice herself to save everyone?
My heart! Ms. Lane is a master at pulling all of the strings attached to my heart and making me feel so much for these characters. Mara sometimes seemed so broken, just destroyed by her own actions, and refused to see any good in what she’s done. Hudson knew all about the darkness and all he wanted was to show Mara the light again, to fight for them, and to have a chance. I absolutely loved them together! Fighting the bad guys, arguing, showing such strength and courage, saving lives... they were a fantastic team. The plot definitely caught my attention as one thing lead to another and their adventure just became even more dangerous! The ending, though, I just about swooned with happiness! There’s action, drama, hope, love, passion, growth, and some amazing shifters all banding together to fight the bad guys - what else could you want in a book and series! Fantastic book, I absolutely loved reading it!

This is a marvelous, enchanting shifter romance that I really enjoyed reading
This book is about: a lion shifter (Mara) who was forced by circumstances beyond her control to work for hunters, and to atone for her crimes she sits in a cell. She comes into contact with a rugged, tattooed bear shifter (Hudson) who discovers that she is his mate and together they make plans to take the hunters and their evil plans down.
There is: lion shifters, bear shifters, various kinds of shifters, evil hunters, Supernatural Enforcement Agency, federal agents, rogue agents, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, intrigue, danger, enemies, violence, threats, fear, betrayal, revenge, victims, blackmail, conflict, rescues, acceptance, love & some steamy scenes.
The characters are quite well-developed with individual personalities, which occasionally results verbal conflict. The story-line and plot is intriguing & suspenseful, it keeps the reader’s attention.

He is determined to right the wrongs of what the hunters have done and get his mate released from jail. She's set on distancing herself from those who care because she feels she doesn't deserve them.
When Mara is attacked while in custody Hudson comes to her rescue and takes her with him. On the run together they'll have to overcome trust issues that lands Hudson in a pickle or two. One thing for sure is that they must work together to save the cubs the hunters have taken.
Exciting, Dangerous, Saddening and Seductive all wrapped up in one hell of a story.
Mature readers, some strong language and sexual content.

Mara and Hudson
Mara did what she had to do to save her brother's widow and children from being killed by the hunters. She was serving time for arson in Bearden in a cell underneath City Hall. The hunters got to men in the SEA and they murdered her two guards and tried to murder Mara. Hudson had the feeling something was wrong and broke in to save her. Hudson and Mara learned that shifter children were to be auctioned off and he gathered Bearden friends and police to help. Mara had been told they would be released and those she loved would be unharmed if she turned herself in to the woman heading up the hunters. She did, learned the woman lied to her. Hudson and his friends broke into the camp and took down the hunters. Like all the Bearden stories, this one has realistic characters one could see being one's friends, and the plot is very well written.

The hunters are back and so is danger in the form of a large heavily tatted bear shifter and no one messes with his mate
Love that action in this . It has danger, betrayal, mystery, intrigue, drama, spice and more. The characters are fantastic. I couldn't put it down. Don't miss it!

Hudson and Mara make a great team! A bear and a lion...fighting the hunters..he knows she's his mate even if she keeps denying it. She did what she had to do to protect her family, it wasn't good but now she's serving time in jail. She doesn't think she deserves love or a life of goodness. Well Hudson is fighting to prove her wrong. They take on the hunters and fight together to free those still captive. This clan in Beardon fight for each other.
Another good storyline and great characters. Love these shifters!

This is so worth it!
I am loving these stories and have read them all in order.
It is so awesome the way this author brings so many different sorts of shifters together in her stories.
This time is a bear and a lion, yet they're perfect mates for each other, even after everything Mara went through she never stopped trying.
And the way Hudson was so sure about it and wouldn't let Mara get away was so touching.
I am so enjoying this series by this author.

Mara is so guilt ridden she can't let herself have any joy from meeting her mate. Hudson has been visiting her in jail for a year now without even kissing her yet. When all hell breaks loose with the hunters Hudson and Mara go on a wild action filled journey to take down the leader once and for all. But can Hudson convince Mara to forgive herself, can he tame this kitty as she has tamed him? Loved this sexy thrill ride.

Mara is being kept in a cell under city hall after being caught attempting to kidnap one of Bearden's own. They were taken to illegal shifter fighting rings that were being run by hunters. Hudson is following all the leads she gives him to try and stop these people once and for all. Mara is his fated mate which makes it harder to be apart so when trouble starts they both go on the run to do the mission together and save the stolen children before they are hurt. This has been a great read.

A great addition to the shifter series. Both of the main characters have made mistakes and have dark pasts. I loved how Hudson never lets his past control him. Where Mara always seems to be running towards it to make up for her mistakes. But unfortunately it only seems to hurt her and makes things worse. And you have to love how devoted Hudson is to a woman he truly believes is his mate.

The series is wrapped up with the best possible outcome for the clan. I hope to see the guys and gals in future series by this amazing author.

Hudson I is breaking up the hunters fight games, trying to help his mate out. He knew she was his with a sniff but he can't claim her until she lets him. Mara is full of guilt and just wants to make amends for the past, she doesn't think she deserves a mate.

good read
I gave this four stars because it’s the last book of this series and it seemed to drag. Saying that this was good. Hudson got his mate finally. They had to drop thru hoops but he finally got her. Mara was able to track down the person that killed her brother but she still felt like a traitor to her kind. Hudson was always there reminding her of her worth. Good read.

I loved this book. The dynamic between Hudson and Mara is explosive. She has to learn to trust again and when Hudson makes her feel again, she knows she loves him. Can they survive the threats that are coming? You don’t want to miss this read.

I give this book 4.5 stars. I like that it finally wrapped up and the big bad was taken down. I do wish there could have been more regarding Ronnie. It just seemed too easy, that ending.
