This isn't working out for me :/

I do recommend this series is you don't mind reading Omegaverse serials, & like reverse harem smut.

The smut is still well-written, but my problem is that there was so much of it. Non-stop sex and I started skimming. I have no urge to read the next book (but will just so I can say I read it *shrug). There's still absolutely no plot or character development.

Reverse Harem isn't my preference and I find the trend of reverse harems in Omegaverse baffling since it seems to go against the Alpha's extremely possessive tendencies, but I do think the author explained well why the Alphas were sticking together and you see the hierarchy within the pack of Alphas...so kudos to the author for that. I do think 7 Alphas for a short Omegaverse serial is a ridiculous number of Alphas, I can hardly remember any of their names.

Okay. Another writer dropped me off the cliff

The third writer (I will refrain from calling them authors) did not finish the series of books. I read Clarity and Promise, ha, with the last page just ending, with a "promise" of book 3. Now where the check is this book? When or IF it is written, how will I know? I'm already flooded with writers wanting me to read their stories which can only be accessed through e-mails. Beginning to make me think of throwing my Kindle in the garbage and going to the local library again. Frustrating.

More crazily good hotness

I'm not normally a fan of shorter reads, but this is the continuation of one story, and I am totally hooked on it. On reflection I am appreciating how it has been broken down into sections. In a longer novel I can get so caught up in 'getting to the end' that I don't stop and appreciate the part of the story that I am reading. The length of these books means that you stop and digest it in smaller parts and that has strangely made it MORE enjoyable.

The series is building up, with each book allowing us to get to know ONE of the 7 males in more depth. Not that we aren't learning more about ALL of them but Mordek had a special 'role' in book 1 as Jeden does in this one. I'm definitely starting to get a feel for the male characters now, some in more depth than others but this is a deliberate move by the author.

I love, love LOVE Karissa. She is determined, tough and strong, even in the times where her mind isn't necessarily her own. She got angry when I needed her to get angry, and her reactions were so believable and appropriate. There is darkness and light to the story, I love how protective and caring the alpha's are, but the paradox is that Karissa wouldn't be in danger if she hadn't been given Clarity to trigger her Omega DNA. They can claim to be protecting her all they like, but they are the very reason she needs protecting . Which is what underpins the who darkness and f'd-up-ness of this story.

This is very erotic and pretty dark, so you will either love it or hate it. You've now been warned that it has dubious consent and a lot of graphic multi-partner sex scenes. If either of those isn't for you then proceed with caution, or at the very least please don't leave a bad review because you don't care for the content. For those that LOVE this type of read I do highly recommend this.

Oh my but this just keeps getting better and better! Man it was hot! And you get some questions answered after having read the first book. The author is really starting to pull me in and I am loving the story she is slowly building with each book. Karissa is a strong Omega, even tho the alphas aren't telling her everything they know. Tho they do seem to tell her the truth when she asks them a question. The alphas are also very sexy each in their own way.

Overall I loved the book and am looking forward to devouring the next in the series!

“Alpha’s Promise” is story 2 in the Clarity series and picks up mostly where story 1 ends. We get more of the personalities of some of the alphas and Karissa gets many of her (and our) questions answered. I loved seeing the softer side to these alphas. Okay, okay, also all the filthy yumminy goodness that comes with having 7 alpha males ready and willing to meet your every need because…yea…that…soooooo good. I’m enjoying this serial immensely. The pace is fast, the characters are delicious, and I can’t wait for story 3.

I was super excited for this release, but I wasn't aware how much the story could develop. I honestly thought I was just in for more hot RH omegaverse times. This was so much more than that, however, for those looking, there's plenty 'o sex too.

The development Ms. Kinkee's managed to create in this story is amazing and a testament to her writing skills. Major points for creating a killer story line and having awesome sex scenes.

I'm dying for the next one, because I NEEDS ANSWERS.

This was just as hot and arousing as the first part. Following the first book, Karissa has claimed the first of her Alphas. That doesn’t mean it will get any easier, so while she is struggling to learn what it means to be an omega, the pack also have to learn how to adjust to an additional member, that really doesn’t want to be there. We get a little more background information, but there is still a lot to be revealed. I cannot wait to read the next part.

this is a loaded storyline! great continuation of the first book and draws out the suspense for a third. Karissa is learning the ways of her new world now as well as the newfound dangers she never knew existed. a clash of new with what shes always known and the alphas with the people who were once in her life. the grave reality of it all as the history behind the pack of alphas are shared and now the problems that lie up ahead, great freaking story and I loved the way book 2 ended!

~ More clarity about her new dark world ~

We learn along with Karissa more depth on each of the group of powerful and unique Alphas who have banded together, as well as the group’s promise to her and to themselves. Now that she has been discovered and taken as an Omega, though, they are not ever going to let her go. She is far too valuable and rare, perhaps even beyond what she has just discovered about these males.

Only posting a review here for the first and final book because I’ve been flying through these. Wow. This is a train wreck I can’t get out of. The pack is so broken and the FMC is so jaded. There is so much raw emotion and tension bleeding into the page. My heart was breaking for the FMC at first but now she is just getting annoying. I really want to find out at what point there becomes an AHA moment and I’m already on book 4 and losing my patience.

This is the second book in Ms. Kinkee's Alpha's Clarity series. If you read the first installment you already know that our heroine, Karissa, has been identified as an omega. Her 7 yummy alphas are starting to want to develop deeper relationships with her, but she's also at risk. As a rare and valuable omega her alphas need to protect her, the question is, would they be able?

I found that I liked this portion of the story better than the beginning. I liked that the female MC sticks to her guns so to speak and refuses to bow (unless forced of course ;) ) to the dominant males. Characters are solid and the story is blooming as it progresses. A short hot read that is not for the weak of heart.

Liked this book even more than the first. More character development and world building. The sex is super hot and there’s plenty of it. Omegaverse is not my usual cup of tea but I’m enjoying this series. The unique bonds between the men are another interesting facet. Looking forward to more. Highly recommend.

2.5 stars for Karissa's feistiness and determination. She's a strong omega. I'm still struggling with too many men and not being able to connect with them. I still want more story!
