My Thoughts...
I love a good hallmark movie. But I love a book more then a movie you get more details and I enjoy the books more. I watch A country Wedding on Hallmark before reading the book, after read the book I love it more.
Bradley and Sarah's story was such a fun one. I loved the ending and I'm so happy to have a copy of this on my book shelf to reread again and again.
This is a 5 star read and you can get your copy right now to enjoy while on home arrest while the virus has us all trapped at home.
The Mary Reader received this book from the publisher for review. A favorable review was not required and all views expressed are our own.

I received this book via Netgalley in return for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this romance novel set in a small town in Texas. The MCs, Sarah and Bradley, were friends as children but the sudden death of his parents separated them. Over the years, Bradley becomes a famous country singer engaged to a movie actress. He returns to his old town, and rekindles his friendship with Sarah. I love the second chance romance aspect and the characters were really believable.

A Country Wedding by Leigh Duncan

A sweet romance based on the Hallmark movie by the sane name.
Famous country music singer Bradley visits him hometown and best friend Sarah is convinced to help Bradley plan his wedding. The more time Bradley spends with Sarah, the more relaxed he is which enables him to write more music. Does he still want to marry his famous fiancé?

Sweet and romantic.
I listened to the audio version. The narrator did a great job with voice variations.

What if the person you married when you were 13 was the person you were always meant to be with.

Bradley Sutton has it all. Fame, fortune, and a beautiful fiance anyone would envy. With his wedding rapidly approaching, Bradley feels like in order to move on with his new life he has to close the chapter on his old life. So he sets off for Mill Town to sell his parent's house. Too many memories of his parents' death haunt Mill Town and Bradley can't wait to move on. That is...until he meets Sarah Standor once again.

Sarah remembers Bradley fondly when his parent's died and she offered to marry him at 13 so he could have a family. After that she never saw him again. But now he's back and her feeling start to betray her head. She can't fall in love with him. He's a big time star, not the small town kid she once knew. Or is that only what she thinks?

I love Hallmark Channel and everything it stands for. I recommend this for everyone. Like all Hallmark material it is clean and appropriate for all ages.

And make sure to watch the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "A Country Wedding."

One of the cute books to read which goes from a childhood wedding to a read one. Bradley has the riches and music in his life and he is to get married to his girlfriend. He goes back to the home of his childhood at Mill Town to tie up the loose ends. And he meets Sarah and love happens...

I love a second chance love story, my first book by author Leigh Duncan, this was a completely joyous read during Christmas. The book started a bit slow but kept me tuned to it, turning pages continuously. Sarah was my favorite, she was strong and I loved the way her love was absolute. I grew to like Bradley slowly. And a wedding in the barn soon brought about a sweet twist at the end.

Overall a good book on a cool crisp winter morning.

This is a sweet book. The famous country music star comes back home and rekindles his friendship with his childhood friends. Bradley plans to have a small wedding with his movie star fiancée. With the help of his childhood friend, Sarah, he remembers all of the good things about his childhood and the small town where he grew up.

I have enjoyed several books by Leigh Duncan. I'm looking forward to reading more by her.

A country music superstar finds that "you can go home again" in "A Country Wedding: Based On the Hallmark Channel Original Movie". Author Leigh Duncan does a wonderful job of capturing the spirit of the Hallmark fan-favorite film, and she gives the story fresh appeal with her own special touches. Bradley Suttons' life changed forever at age thirteen when his parents were killed in a car accident. His aunt and uncle took him from his small home town of Mill Town, Texas to live with them in Nashville, TN. Before he left, his best friends Sarah and Adam wanted to make sure Bradley knew they thought of him as family, so they held a mock "wedding" between Bradley and Sarah with Adam (a pastor's son) officiating. More than a decade later, after achieving the fame of country music stardom--not to mention an engagement to Hollywood mega-star Catherine Mann--Bradley returns to Texas to sell his family ranch and close that chapter of his life for good. Sarah Standor still lived on her family's own ranch, which was next to the Suttons place. After studying to be a veterinarian, and suffering a painful broken romance, Sarah had settled into her own life running a horse rescue and rehab on her ranch and raising flowers to sell locally. Her parents had moved to Florida, and her rescue dogs were her companions. Bradley had never once come back to Texas since leaving for Nashville, and Sarah had kept up with his career through his media appearances. Now he was home--right next door--and he and Sarah had some catching up to do. He had only intended to stay for a couple of days to sell his home and close his parents' estate, but memories, not to mention the friendship of the grown-up Sarah, were making him linger. He had the privileged life of success, a beautiful and famous fiancée, and a solid music career ahead of him--so why was he feeling like something was missing? Sarah has more to deal with than the rush of emotions that come with Bradley's return. She has been struggling financially for quite some time, and she is on the verge of losing her home and the horse rehab. What would happen to her, the dogs, and the horses if she can't keep the ranch? With Sarah's help, Bradley begins to make arrangements for a small private wedding with Catherine in Mill Town. However, career-minded Catherine has plans of her own for their wedding and their future together. A return to his roots has refreshed Bradley's sense of his true self, and he begins to write his own kind of music again. He is also aware that Sarah is a very special person--a lovely woman--and no longer the freckle-faced girl he left behind. When Catherine comes to mill Town, Bradley must take a hard look at his life. Is a glamorous celebrity existence with Catherine what he really wants, or is he still a small town boy at heart? Can he hope for something more--like a bright and happy future based on the best part of his past--and does that future include Sarah? "A Country Wedding", both in book and on film, is a touching and heartwarming contemporary romance.

I listened to the audio version of this book and everything was perfect! The story was so sweet about love lost and found on ranch in a small town called Milltown (which also happens to be the name of my town, although not a ranchers town).
Bradley and Sarah started their sweet lifelong love at the age of 13 when he lost both of his parents in an accident and Sarah made him “marry” her so that he would always have family.
Bradley was moved to Nashville with his aunt and uncle a couple of weeks after their “wedding” and became a Grammy award country artist. He was set to marry his movie star girlfriend before he decided to go back to Milltown to sell his childhood home and close that chapter in his life.
Not knowing he would once again see his first true love who without knowing would bring back feelings that Bradley never even realized he was missing. Such a happy ending!

I really enjoyed the story. I actually watched the movie before I read this book. I enjoyed reading the book alot more then the movie because I got so much more with the book. The story came more to life threw the pages then it ever did on the television screen.

I really enjoyed Bradley and Sarah story. I as very happy with this Happily ever after. I very much liked the epilogue and how the story ended. The movie didn't go much into after the wedding. So it was nice to find out where Bradley and Sarah landed and what happened in there lives.

Interesting concept of writing a book to fit a movie. I still need to watch the movie, but I can imagine the book gave so much more insight into the main characters. I love a good romance story where a relationship started in adolescence and resumes in the present. If you enjoy Hallmark movies, you’ll enjoy this book.

♥♥♥♥♥ Based on Hallmark Channel's original movie by the same name, A Country Wedding, by Leigh Duncan, is a story about coming home. Bradley Suttons grew up in Mill Town, TX and left it all behind when his parents died. Now he's a Grammy winning Nashville music star, engaged to Catherine Mann, Hollywood's famous leading lady. When he decides to go back to Mill Town to sell the family house he still owns, he finds he's able to write music again, make peace with painful memories, and reconnect with old friends—including Sarah Standor—a girl he once married. They were only thirteen and it wasn't legally binding, but Sarah offered to marry Bradley so he'd always have family. It was the sweetest gift anyone could have offered him after his parents died.

Sarah still lives next door and runs a ranch for rescue horses. She's behind on the mortgage and the bank is threatening to take the place away if she can't come up with the money to pay for it. She's desperately waiting to hear back whether or not she'll receive a grant for her work, when Bradley walks back into her life. He offers to help her fix up the ranch if she helps him plan a country wedding for him and Catherine. She agrees and the pair ease back into their carefree friendship like they had years before. The friendship feels like it's turning into something more, when Bradley realizes how refreshing it is to be with a woman like Sarah, who's always honest and direct with him. But he's engaged to Catherine and believes the two of them are perfect for each other. As his wedding day quickly approaches and Catherine comes to town, Bradley must decide which woman his heart truly belongs to.

I have not seen the movie this book is based on, but if it's anything like the book, I'm sure I'd like it. Small town boy makes it big in Nashville, gets frustrated with the big city life, returns to his hometown to settle his past, only to find his true home and love were there all along. It's not a new or original storyline, but Leigh Duncan works magic with her words in A Country Wedding. She paints a picture in each scene with language that transports you back to country life. Phrases like "shucking her everyday clothes" and "drunk on a kiss" not only bring the scene to life, it brings the setting—a small country town—to life. I loved that about the book. I seriously was reading the book with a little country twang in my head because that's exactly where the author took me. And it was perfect.

The book begins in Bradley's point of view, which I enjoyed. So often romance novels lean heavier on the female side. I found it refreshing that this book was more Bradley's story. It was a romance, but also a homecoming. Bradley is struggling with the past (making peace with his parents' tragic death), the present (his inability to write new songs and frustration with being in the spotlight all the time), and the future (is Catherine the woman he wants to marry and is Nashville really home). Returning to Mill Town helps him find answers to all of his problems. Sure, we get Sarah's point of view, and even Catherine's, which was interesting, but ultimately it really is Bradley's story.

There are serious moments , touching ones, and even some funny lines. Great epilogue included too!

Filled with Stetsons, horses, country music, and ranch life, Leigh Duncan's book is a wonderful romance about coming home and a love reunited. If you're looking for a relaxing escape from the big city but can't get out of town, kick off your boots, pick up A Country Wedding, and shuffle on in to Mill Town.

A Country Wedding: Based On the Hallmark Channel Original Movie by Leigh Duncan
Source: NetGalley
My Rating: 4/5 stars

Oh, Hallmark Channel, how you make me so delightfully happy with these super sweet romances!

Bradley Suttons has finally made it as a Nashville star. After ten long years of trying, working, and singing his heart out, he is at the top and has achieved every dream he ever thought possible. What’s more, he’s engaged to Hollywood’s hottest actress and their impending nuptials are just what they have both always wanted, a quiet, private event away from the glitz and glamour of their everyday lives. But, before the big day Bradley needs to make a trip back home to tie up some loose ends.

Back home is Mill Town, Texas where Bradley has both the best and worst memories of his life. Bradley lived next door to his best friend, Sarah on a matching ranch, and until the moment his parents died, Bradley couldn’t imagine living anywhere else in the world. Coming home isn’t the easiest thing Bradley has ever done, but within a day or two, he begins to remember just why he loved his hometown so much. The calm, the quiet, the land, the people, everything he lacks in his new ultra-famous life and world can be found in Mill Town. What’s more, Sarah still lives next door and she has grown into a beautiful woman. She is kind, intelligent, caring, and so very glad to see her old friend back in town.

Sarah is beyond pleased to have Bradley living right next door once again. With each passing day, Bradley seems to relax a bit more and before long, he is coming over to Sarah’s every day to catch up and help her around the ranch. Sarah’s life’s work involves caring for abandoned and sick animals, especially horses and Bradley enjoys being around her brood. The trouble is, most of Sarah’s charges are abandoned which means their previous owners aren’t exactly paying the bills for their care. Though she is immensely happy with Bradley and his help around the ranch, Sarah is in dire financial trouble and at risk of losing everything she holds dear. She isn’t looking to impose on her friend or ask for his financial assistance, so Sarah keeps her woes to herself and simply enjoys the limited time she has with Bradley.

And then, Bradley has an idea . . . .

Bradley is certain he and his fiancée won’t find a place any better suited to their wedding wishes than Sarah’s barn and so, the planning begins. With Sarah’s help and not a lot of time until the wedding date, Bradley begins to pull together the single most romantic wedding any girl could ever hope to have. Trouble is, Bradley’s fiancé isn’t just any girl, and as the plans begin to take shape, Bradley and Sarah both realize, Bradley just may be marrying the wrong girl.

The Bottom Line: From start to finish, this sweet romance kept me turning the pages. Sarah is an immensely likeable character and once Bradley pulls his head out, he is such a wonderful man. What I enjoyed most about this read is the journey Bradley must take to truly find himself and what he wants from his life. Bradley’s journey involves facing his past, the loss of his parents, and how he must absolutely trust the people around him and close to him to be happy. What Bradley discovers is that life isn’t about fame and fortune, but about truth, loyalty, and love. With Sarah by his side, Bradley gets back to his roots and finds the greatest success of his life.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was actually a movie made into a book, which I have never experienced. Hallmark has some amazing movies and they have decided to share these movies as books for their followers. I love to spend my time watching the Hallmark channel, especially since I don't have to wait until my kids go to bed. This book, I probably could have shared with my 8 year old who always cuddles up to me when I turn on the Hallmark channel. I can always count on everything to be family friendly and don't have to explain things that she is too young to understand! We are enjoying Christmas in July! We are spending too much time watching the Hallmark channel, but we are beating the heat!
This book begins with Bradley (played by Jesse Metcalfe in the movie) juggling his career, writing new songs, planning a wedding, making public appearances and just trying to stay grounded. Bradley was raised in a small town, Mill Town and is engaged to Catherine Mann (played by Laura Mennell in the movie), an actress who got her start as a child star and is used to being in the spotlight. While on TV, Catherine blurts out that they are engaged, a secret that they have been keeping form their adoring fans for privacy reasons. We are then cut to Sarah (played by Autumn Reeser in the movie) who was born and raised in Mill Town, even still lives in the house that she had grown up in.Sarah is reminiscing about how she married Bradley at 13 years old in her parent's barn by their best friend, Adam. Bradley decides to venture home after receiving a letter from someone from his childhood. He decides that it is time that he go back and sell his house, since he has not been back since he was 13. Unfortunately, Catherine is in the middle of filming a movie and cannot drop everything to head back with him. While he is home, he is tasked with planning the wedding on his own, he reconnects with a few old friends and they manage to help him along the way with his planning. Many things are discovered about Bradley's relationship with Catherine. We laugh through this book, we cry, we are mad, but in the end, things work out in a way that we always wanted! It is a nice feel good book and movie!

description
My weekends are filled with reading and watching The Hallmark Channel. I know what you’re thinking…this girl knows how to party 😉 I have a list of my top favorite movies and A Country Wedding is on it! So, I thought why not read the book to get a different look at this love story.

I was already a fan of the movie and was so excited to read this book from Leigh Duncan. The story follows a famous country music superstar, Bradley Suttons, who has to visit his hometown to sell his childhood home all while planning his wedding to a high profile actress. This was intriguing enough, but throw in his childhood best friend, Sarah Standor, and things really start to get interesting.

I really loved the background story. Brad-bird (this is seriously one of the cutest nicknames EVER) and Sarah were best friends and she was there for one of his hardest times, dealing with the loss of his parents. They got married and it was Sarah’s idea. She wanted him to know that he still had a family. AWW

It was a joy to see them evolve throughout the book. In the beginning, Bradley is just settling. He isn’t really in love with his fiance because he doesn’t want to feel the pain that comes with fully opening up to someone. By the end of the book, he has learned that love is one of the greatest things one can experience in life. There may be ups and downs, but it’s worth the ride.

Bradley isn’t the only character that evolves in this book. Sarah has always been a strong, confident, and hard-working woman and that won’t change. But she too learns to let her guard down and realizes that she doesn’t have to carry all the load.

Leigh Duncan created an uplifting small-town romance about love, loss, and finding your own home with whomever/wherever is right for you.

Hallmark was giving this ebook away free of charge and with no expectation of a review during the pandemic. I believe it was part of their way to cheer people up and it served exactly that purpose with me.

Three friends from childhood take part in a pretend wedding to help a young boy who has just lost his parents know that there will always be one person he can call family. A short time later his remaining blood relatives move him away from his childhood friends. Years go by and he makes a life for himself as a country singer. He has a beautiful girlfriend (who happens to be a star) but their relationship is more business like than romantic. When she "announces" their engagement online without consulting him beforehand life gets infinitely more complicated for him. All he wants is a family and a small intimate wedding.

His "pretend" bride from years earlier hears of the engagement and sends him back his mothers engagement ring along with her congratulations. This brings back old memories, including the fact that he has never dealt with his parents property which now belongs to him. He decides to go and deal with that and on arrival quickly learns that it is a place of inspiration for him as a songwriter. He connects with his old friends once again. All of them are truly likeable characters who have high levels of personal ethics. His fiance on the other hand...not so much.

This was a feel good story with a great happy ever after ending. It was the perfect thing to distract me from the stresses of the day. My thanks to Hallmark for allowing me to read it.

THE BOOK BAR GAVE THIS ONE ☕☕☕☕
Do you only get one true love? Do opposites attract? Well for Sarah, Catherine and Bradley answers to these questions are answered in A Country Wedding. It is no secret that I enjoy the Hallmark Channel on the weekends and have seen this movie a few times, which what drew me to the book.

Sarah is the girl next door and after finishing veterinary school ends up back in her childhood home caring for horses living out their last days. She is content to live the simple life with simple things.

At thirteen tragedy strikes and Bradley is moved away from his childhood home and takes a different path of his friends in Mill Town. His journey takes him into a world of celebrity and spotlights.

Catherine has spent most of her life in the spotlight and it’s all she knows. Her and Bradley’s relationship appears to be going well and the talks of taking it to the next step are underway. Once the announcement of their upcoming nuptials is leaked, things begin to unfold. We find that these two couldn’t be more different.

Bradley decides to come to Mill Town to tie up loose ends and prepare for his small intimate barn wedding, those plans take a few twists and turns, but brings him full circle and gives him his second chance at real love.

I recommend this sweet small-town romance for reading pleasure.

This is a Hallmark books so it is a clean and wholesome book. If that's what you're looking for, this book is a beautiful example of that.

I confess that A Country Wedding is one of my favorite Hallmark movies ever, so I was hesitant to read the adaptation out of fear that the book wouldn't live up to the movie, but Leigh Duncan nailed it and this book actually surpassed the movie. The synopsis tells you everything you need to know about the book and it's players, let me tell you what makes this book as good as the movie. I absolutely loved the fact that the book added tiny little details that the movie didn't have time for. The looks into Sarah and Bradley, and even Catherine's inner thoughts added so much to this story without changing it at all. Being able to be inside of their heads and seeing things from their prospective – specifically Bradley's – was a huge boon to the story. I also loved that the epilogue smoothed out some of the things that I always found problematic about the movie. (With all of the mediocre Hallmark movies that are getting sequels these days WHY was there no continuation of this beautiful love story?)

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a story set in a small town with two amazingly likable main characters.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are mine.

I love Hallmark movies, so sweet and romantic, and this is on my best of list. The book is told more from Bradley's point of view that Sarah's and I found that to work extremely well. My only complaint is that the movie didn't take advantage of the terrific epilogue in the book. It was a wonderful ending to this couples story.

Bradley Suttons and Sarah Standor were neighbors and best friends as kids. When Bradley's parents are killed Sarah comes up the idea for them to marry. This way Bradley will always have a family. The third Musketeer, Adam, performs the ceremony and the two 13 year old kids are, unofficially, married.

A decade later Brad is set to marry America's sweetheart and needs Sarah to help plan his country wedding. Fate brings this couple together again and it's the best thing that ever happened to either one. They have a couple of weeks to reacquaint and fall in grown-up love. Since it's a romance story we already know the country wedding will happen for the two characters we come to love. It's a good story, good book, and good movie. Happy reading.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

Can I just say WOW?! This book was a little slow in the beginning but like a house that will stand the test of time because of a good foundation. The first couple of chapters, while they were a little slow, they were laying down a foundation for the book to stand on.

This book will have your emotions all over the place. You will cheer, cry, stomp your feet, swear, cuss and cry again. That is a sign of a great book. It evokes feeling in you; makes you a part of the story. It will play like a movie in your head. I really wanted to slap Bradley a few times. He is basically a good guy but a very confused one. Sarah on the other hand was the perfect female protagonist. She was strong, reliable and a true friend in the very sense of the word. There were places in this book that I highlighted as to the wording of a wonderful relationship that should be between a husband and a wife. There were also placed that brought me to great sadness. I had to re-read these sections over as I had a hard time seeing through my tears!

I so highly recommend this story to anyone.

I have not seen the movie which the book is based around, so I cannot cannot compare the two. What I can say though is that the book is beautifully written. This is a lovely romance novel which takes you into the the world of an award winning country singer, Bradley Suttons, engaged to be married to a beautiful Hollywood actress, Catherine Mann. Bradley decides to return to his roots, Mill Town where he was raised as a child until his parents died. He wants to sell his childhood home. At least that is what he sets out to do....but then in walks Sarah, his 'wife' and his first love, his best friend.

Bradley begins to realise that this is the real world, this is life and life does have substance after all. Does he really want the hollywood life style of the rich and famous or does he want this down to earth fence mending, nail hammering, get your hands dirty world?

Read on and find out how the world of Bradley, Sarah and Catherine pan out. Read about their thoughts and motives. Enjoy this wonderful romance.

Sarah and Bradley were friends growing up until he moved away after his parents died. Now Bradley is a rising country music star and engaged to a Hollywood star, Catherine Mann. He is living a life of glamour and stardom. Now he is back in his hometown to sell his parent's house. Sarah is working hard on her hometown ranch trying to make ends meet. She loves her life but doesn't know how much longer she can keep her horse rescue going. When Bradley comes back to town he reconnects with Sarah. She makes him reexamine his current life and his relationship with his Catherine. The more time he spends with Sarah the more Bradley starts to question if maybe there could be something more between them. Will Bradley choose the life he thinks he wants or the life he is meant for? Sarah also starts to feel something for Bradley but will not be the one to go after an engaged man. Will she miss out on her chance at true love?
I really enjoyed this sweet story of old friends finding love and their place in the world.

Thanks to Netgalley for giving me this book to read in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion.

A Country Wedding is the perfect read for spring and summer time! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! This book was a nice reminder that we often take for granted or overlook life's simple pleasures, such as eating an ice cream cone or going fishing, because we're too caught up in our busy lives. I'm a sucker for Hallmark movies, but what's special about the Hallmark books is that we get to read the characters' inner thoughts and feelings. That's something you don't get from watching a movie. Another thing that is really cool about all of the Hallmark books is that each book includes a recipe at the end that correlates to the story. So fun and delicious! I really hope that Hallmark fans will pick up this wonderful book as well as the others in the Hallmark line.

A Country Wedding is one of those books I couldn't put down. I have not seen the movie which the book is based on, therefore I cannot cannot compare the two. But the book was a perfect romance novel for me. The story is based on an award winning country singer, Bradley who is engaged to a famous and beautiful Hollywood actress, Catherine Mann. Before the wedding Bradley decides to return to his childhood home before his parents died in Mill Town. His plan was a fast trip there to sell his house and move on with his future. But once he returns, he realizes what he left behind. He re connects with old friends, and feels like he is apart of the town, even with his famous face.

This novel is extremely well written, the flow of the story-line was absolutely perfect. I loved all the characters. It was a sexy book but written in a very pure way. This is a book, I will read again. 5+

I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Really liked this book and if you had seen the movie there a few differences. Not changes of the story but more from what was going on from the characters. What you do get is a little more of Catherine which is Bradley’s fiancé who is not there in his home town planning what he thinks will be there wedding, but in Italy doing a film and planning what she expects their wedding to be. It will be up to Bradley to decide if he wants to go through with it or act on the feelings brought back up inside of him while being home and spending time with his first love Sarah. What I also really liked about this book was the epilogue and for me that really gave it an extra push for the story and after the movie. A very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com

A COUNTRY WEDDING by Leigh Duncan
July 24
National television his wife to be let it be known they were engaged. Catherine had a reason, and now he needed to find out why she did it.
For Sarah, the ranch been there for generations, it was more for the horses, dogs, the gardens that she was holding dear to her. Along with all the bills, and foreclosure. A new owner to the place, and now in front of her, he once had been her husband, they were only thirteen. Then he was whisked away, and stardom came for him. Old memories never die, and with it brings two people together to share those. The healing for him, was here to write music once again from his heart. The people, the story was like visiting people you knew, delightful to read. GivenARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

A Country Wedding : Based on the Hallmark Channel Original Movie
By; Leigh Duncan
A Hallmark movie made into a book. I never got to see the movie , but enjoyed reading the story. I love watching a good Hallmark movie. A Country man, Bradley, who goes and makes it big writing music. He is ready to marry his actress girlfriend, but wait he married his childhood friend, Sarah, when he was thirteen. Is he married or is he free to marry? A visit back to his hometown where he grew up. Will he see Sarah? Will she remember their marriage ? Does he really know the woman to whom he is engaged? This is a sweet romance and I loved it.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.

This is a nice read for a summer day. The characters are likable and the story flows. The premise is not a new one, but the story is well told. Basically, country star moves back home to get deceased mother's house ready to sell. He's engaged to another celebrity, and the marriage will be one more for convenience than love. The country star reunites with his two best childhood friends. He soon realizes he has feelings for the girl. But will he marry the celebrity who can further his career? Or will he marry his childhood sweetheart? There are two country weddings planned. Which one will really take place? Read the book to find out.
