I enjoyed this read. It wasn't too in depth and it moved forward at a good pace. This is the story of Sloan finding herself, sexually and personally, and it told through her. Ellie is her girlfriend and that happens pretty fast and so does Laura's acceptance of it. I think that's one of the reason I rated it that way. Some of the dialogue just didnt seem real or even reactions to situations. Regardless, I enjoyed the read and will read more from this author as she is a kU author. Got time, give it a go.

I really enjoyed this book. It was going along in a nice way then the author threw in a couple of curves and you sat up and wondered where the story was going i really liked that.( No spoilers). It gave the story a better depth and let you know the characters better. Would recommend this book thank you to the author .

🌈MODERN DAY FANTASY🌈
I liked it a lot. Her connection with her characters was so real. And though she tells the story through Sloan for me the heroine is Ellie. This story is just so easy to see with the naked eye. Because it revolves around all of us in one way or the other ! 😍

Good light read
A quick read for me. I enjoyed the characters, the story line and I have to say that Chase cracked me up. He was my favourite character.

Sweet basic romance. There was minimal angst and drama and most issues were resolved almost immediately. The only long running problem was Sloan's own feelings of inadequacy which permeated most phases of her life not just her sexuality. An okay read -- it all works out.

Nice story
This was really cute, as well as quite interesting. Secondary characters were as fun to "watch" as the main characters.

I enjoyed reading this book. The story isn't going too deep it is touching the surface. However was nice too read without too many complicated thoughts and meanings.

This is a novella about self-discovery and owning the person you are. It is not overly complicated or angsty but has enough exploration to not be completely without personality either.
