Lilly Black has written one hell of a story. From the moment I started reading it I was spellbound by the story of these four girlfriends that had such different lives. Throw in some hot sex, a little witchcraft and a zombie apocalypse and what’s not to love? Plus, it’s set in West Virginia, my home state! Makes it even better! :) I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to see how she deals with the second book. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review! YOU WANT TO READ THIS BOOK!!!

The Deadfall by Lilly Back is a wonderful book. Now I am not going to try and retell you the story as I want you to read it and enjoy it like I have. This book is overflowing with everything a good book needs, fantastic character development, flow of the story, plot twists and so much more. The characters...these are people that are all too human and you can't help but care about them as Ms. Black weaves her magic. It is refreshing to find a book that has just the right amount of humor mixed into the action and tension, so well written, the storyline just flows. I tried my hardest to savor this book and not rip through it in one day. I totally recommend her to anyone looking for page turning suspense, great characters and sizzling romance.

I'm not a "zombie" person BUT

This book with multiple stories within held me captive until I passed out then called me back when the vestiges of sleep fell away to eagerness to open it again! Each story has a pull of it's own. They're easy to follow and even get frustrated with the characters. It also gives me thoughts to ponder on how I'd handle things during an apocalypse! This new genre from Ms. Black is quite enthralling and I'm happy I waited until just before the next one is released to read it. I'm positive I'll be jerking her chain if this is a trilogy!!
Keep it up, Lilly! You got me hooked!!

Wow! That is really all that I can say about this story. That and I can not wait for the next one. I went into this book thinking it was going to be a certain way based on the blurb, but boy oh boy was I wrong. It is a page turner for sure. It is a paranormal story BUT you do not need to like paranormal to really enjoy this story. There is so much more that is going on. I highly recommend to everyone! I did receive an ARC for honest review, but I turned around and got it on KU and reread it there too because it was that good.

Stunning and cliffhanger

Lilly Black’s Deadfall is a mix of many things supernatural and erotica with romance. I am not a huge fan of supernatural books but I love Lilly Black. I received this book in KU and as an ARC for an honest review. This book is one of Friends and the power of witchcraft, but more importantly wanting something you can’t have. So what happens when you get the unreachable? Will it be ok or will it change a persons life? Note ends in cliff hanger!

Full of unexpected turns and sizzling with hot scenes. A book that i highly recomend, althou I have a love/hate relationship with paranormal books. But this one convinced me that it is worth giving every book a try.
And i can not wait for next book to come out.

OMG. Not what I was expecting! This book is the first in the series and if it is any indication I am going to love it.
This series deals with four lifelong friends who go away for a long weekend to celebrate and give support to Dani on her divorce.
While away they do the typical girl things with the exception of on a lark, visiting with a gypsy. Two of them also meet their young girl crushes. So you are saying so what right? Well this plays into what happens later. On their last day in the city all hell breaks loose and now it is survivor mode.
They start starts the development of relationships each will have with men as the deal with the unbelievable that is going on around them.
Lilly has done it again. Her writing draws you in and you don't want to put the book down even for sleep.
If you like romance, hot scenes and the unbelievable this one is for you.
I did receive an ARC for an honest review. Trust me if I didn't like it I would have returned it and given a low rating.
Can't wait for the next in the series!
