A Course In Miracles - The Direct Path
ACIM© promises us nothing less than complete "salvation" - from both the world and the ego. We will be completely healed. We will be finally free from anger, judgment, guilt and fear. We will live in a state of perfect, eternal peace and utter freedom. The concept of sacrifice - of any kind - will disappear entirely. A state of pure joy, absolute peace and limitless release will become our day-to-day reality - if we simply choose to think as the Course asks us to think. We will be free of the world, all of its troubles, trials and tribulations, and will recognize our true Identity-In-One at last. It tells us precisely how to achieve that much desired state.
This path, while simple, is no easy path. It's an unfortunate fact that many students struggle with achieving the end-state that leads to these promised effects, sometimes for many years and often for many decades. For some students this "journey without distance", while elegant in its simplicity, can turn out to be overwhelmingly difficult to tread.
As dedicated students of the Course we naturally desire and expect that we should find the peace, the joy and the freedom the Course promises us. But for many students that expectation turns into disappointment. Those highly anticipated rewards simply don't manifest as, or perhaps when, expected. The information presented by the Course certainly satisfies the mind, or our curiosity perhaps. But that is not enough for most of us.
What we really want, above all else, is the experience of the state it promises.
The purpose of this short book is to present a direct path to the state of being - the experience - A Course in Miracles© promises us.
This path, while simple, is no easy path. excellent and concise breakdown of ACIM concepts
If you finished the course book this is an excellent summation of the core concepts and the most important principles to accept and keep in mind.

Amazing Clarity
I cannot recommend this book enough. It is outstanding in only including those core concepts from the course that point at what we need to do, every moment of the day. This is because the ego mind naturally traps course students to conflate the complexity of the course language with complexity of "getting it" and drags us down the well-trodden path of endless egoic struggles as students of the course. Once we know the basic tenets of what underlies Truth, all we need to do is simply practice. The author quite nicely summarizes what this direct path is - all we need do now is follow it.

I want more and this book proved me wrong
I love this book. I have read it twice and intend to read again. This book does exactly what it says, it cuts to the chase and gives you all the information you need to take the direct path. Any more information can be gleaned by going through the course but what I have found is a much deeper understanding of the course and its meaning. I found myself wanting more and realizing, from the books teachings , that it was my spiritual ego doing the wanting😜

Clear and direct!
I’ve been a “Course” student for over 20 years. I’m always trying to “understand” it better. This short, simple book cuts to the chase. It’s definitely for those who have studied the Course and I would not recommend this to beginners.

A Course in Miracles-The Direct Path
Very insightful and helpful for Course students who are past the introductory stage and are seeking a more practical approach to applying the basic principles. Love the modeling idea as presented as the steps are outlined.
