I Can't Let Go: The Brothers of Chi-Town

Rate this book
Carter Garrison vowed to love, honor and cherish his wife, Sienna, forsaking all others, something he forgot to do during a weekend of fun, bad company and poor judgement. Sienna Garrison never dreamed her college sweetheart, Carter, whom she pledged her life to, would break her heart and when he did, she moved out and moved on - or tried to. What better occasion is there than a friend’s wedding to stir up old feelings and memories of love, intense passion and nights of sensual titillation. Gazes from across a room after almost two years apart revealed depths of love that had never died.Seeing Sienna again reminded Carter of what he’d lost and he vowed to never let go by doing whatever he could to get his wife back even if it included begging and pleading. Is Sienna ready to forgive and take a chance on life again with the only man she’d ever really loved? When Carter brings on the charm and turns up the heat, no woman is immune, especially Sienna.

Eh

Couldn't finish after chapter 7. I tried I really did but I couldn't deal with the fact everyone and sienna herself thought she did him wrong by divorcing him. He cheated and that wasn't ok. Seemed like they wanted her to just accept it like it was bound to happen in any marriage and she was overreacting. I wanted Carter to grovel and earn her forgiveness, he didn't show he was sorry to me. Just whined a lot and was like a stalker when they were in the same area.

Library Request. Thank god I didn’t have to buy this book, it was so bad I couldn’t actually stop reading because couldn’t believe how bad it actually was. I would definitely not read this author again.

Ohhhhhh how perfect

Wow. So much love along with mistakes. If carter had just made better choices and not been selfish. Oh but he did pay as well and his sweet wife sienna. Loved the writing style because it gives huge details along with small. It also didn’t just end when they fell back in love. We got so much more than that. It was awesome.

Just not for me.

I wanted to like this book but I just couldn’t. There was so much repetitive filler that it was eye-rolling ridiculous. The dialogue also seemed a bit off - forced to be normal when it wasn’t. I really like the premise of the book and thing it has some potential, though.

Loved it

My first time reading one of this author's books and it certainly won't be the last. Carter and Sienna were so deeply in love. What Carter did was wrong but I admired him for his honesty. They had supportive & loving parents and friends. A must read....

Chi Town Love

The story of second chance at love is one of my other favorite types of stories to read. A cheating husband is hard-pressed to get a little sympathy. In this story, I gave him a pass. My one complaint was the constant reminder of his infidelity.

Good Story

Entertaining story. Could've been a shorter tale, since there wasn't much going on except for the main couple and their issues.

Buy it, read it and enjoy.👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

2nd chances

This was a good read. Taking a break from studying and found this. I like the 2nd chance concept and the way that love survived through heartache
