It's been a while since I've read an erotica and this here was the random pick for my weekly read over at Tirza's Bookstore FB Group.

The plot is a bit linear and the characters lack that little something that makes them relatable and great but, all in all, this is one very enjoyable erotica story that will have you fanning yourself at times.

I loved the inclusion of erotic poetry to add to the sexiness of the story, and that part of it is set in Hawaii, where I've been recently. Great job, EA DeBoest!

Fans of romantic erotica rejoice! This is the perfect novel for you. I sometimes find that erotica novels lack romance, or that "connection" between the characters, but this one has plenty of both. We root for Savannah, who is sexually liberated in the greatest way but has never met than one man who can truly satisfy her. Carter had a terrible experience in his past and is wary of commitment. So, they decide to spend one night together. Needless to say, their undeniable chemistry and memory of that night might just lead to them finding their way back to each other. Oh, and there's a pretty awesome karaoke scene (my favorite!). If you like romantic erotica add this to your TBR ASAP!

This is the first book I read from this author and let me tell you that I loved it! Such a good book with great characters that keeps you obsessed with every page since the first one. The ending of this book.. come on! I just didn´t expect it! Can´t wait to read other books from this great writer! Amazing job! a must-read! A fantastic book that has it all! I happily endorse this story to any and all who are looking for a romance enjoyable read and a completely different experience than anyone could imagine on their own. ¡Great book!

This here is the best book that I have read by E.A. DeBoest yet to date and I feel that this one has top her previous books since that was well-energized and it kept me wanting more.

I really liked the storyline of this book. She kept me intrigued an captivated, throughout and wanting more. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to spice up their reading.

I am not a big reader of erotica, I do read it on occasion, but as with porn it can often be cheesy. I absolutely HATE 50 Shades of Grey, let's just state that. I didnt even finish the first book that is how much I hated it but the woman who wrote that book is a terrible writer.
This author is a MUCH better writer. That being said, I didn't completely love it. Here are the good things and the not so great:
The Good:
The sex scenes were HOT! Very descriptive, you can really picture everything clearly in your mind. That very first one in chapter 1, the masturbation scene, HOLY HELL! I have never masturbated LIKE THAT before! That is way too much work for me, lol. But I was impressed and very turned on by it. There was also actually a story, which I liked. I really liked the first time that Carter and Savannah met. I thought that chapter was written really well.
The not so great: the most irksome part was Savannah kept referring to her "inner vixen" I found this phrase to be extremely annoying and way overused. Also Lacy calling her "little vixen" all the time I also found annoying. It reminded me of in 50 shades when Anastasica kept saying to herself "my inner goddess" which I absolutely hated. But I digress. Also as I got about halfway through the book I was already bored and over Carter and Savannah but especially Savannah. She was starting to get WAY too egotistical for me. I have no problem with people being confident, but she was borderline obnoxiously arrogant. Everything she said and did she applauded herself for and always had to mention how everyone loves everything she says and does. Puke. By the middle of the book I was like "alright, I get it. You are just the most amazing person ever in every way possible" and the Carter's borderline stalker possessive adoration of her as well started to get annoying. But I kept reading cause it seemed like that maybe he was going to turn out to be this real ahole who is so obsessed with her that he might keep her in his basement and ask her to "put the lotion on" but no, it didn't go there which in one way would have made this book maybe kind of better but on the other hand was kind of glad that he didn't turn out like that. I also found it sort of corny and yawn worthy that they had EVERYTHING in common and no differences. To me, that gets boring fast.
Maybe I just made it sound like I hated this book. I didn't. For an erotica novel, it is pretty good. So if you really just want to read it for all the sex, this book is for you. If you are more into interesting characters and a really intricate story with your erotica, then this book is only ok for that if that is what you want. But I am thinking that most people are reading erotica JUST for the sex, really. I guess for me, erotica alone isn't enough. But, this is the perfect book to masturbate to when you are home alone on a saturday night and sexually frustrated, which as a woman whose husband is a truck driver who is on the road 2 weeks at a time, this book works for me for that reason :)
