OPPOSITES ATTRACT ALL AROUND
M'Renee Allen aka Siren Allen's writing style was gritty but sexy and held my attention to the very end! This is one couple (Dean and Rain) I will never forget... loved the slow burn, the mystery and that very intense whodunit! And Dean was so alpha male! Can't wait to read Garrett and Oni's story!

Rain Delaney just wants the shady guy at the detective agency that's trying to ruin her business to leave her alone. She's found the perfect spot to park her food truck and serve her daily lunch crowd, and she's not going anywhere. Shady guy, Dean Collins wants her nowhere near his business because he plans to meet with a very dangerous man within the next 48 hours.
It's actually for her own safety. Dean tries some underhanded methods to run her away, but they only serve to piss her off. Rain is no wallflower, and stands toe to toe with the former enforcer. If only she'd listened to him, she'd be at home safely preparing the food for her upcoming catering orders. Instead, she's dodging bullets and running for her life with her own personal 007 with a slight accent.
This story features a very strong woman, who is smart, funny and sassy. She doesn't play games and she isn't shy about what she wants, once she decides she wants it. Add in a bad-ass but flawed hero in the equation, and you have a man that is her perfect match, in every way. Erotic. Refreshing. Humorous. I loved it. Now, I'll be checking out the rest of this author's titles.

Wow these two were five alarm fire hot! Dean and Raine were a perfect match for each other. And it all starts with the pinkest of food trucks bringing unwanted attention to a sketchy part of town. And when Dean wants her gone, Raine let's him know she will not be pushed around. And there are no wilting violets in this story. So when the inevitable happens and Raine finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time to confront Dean, they escape a shootout, but with even more problems on their tail.
I loved it and can't wait to read the next in the series!! And except for the excessive and annoying use of the word "female", the book was definitely a hit.

Bravo!! This book is very well written, and the chemistry between Dean and Rain is yummy. But that ending had me on the edge of my seat, and ready to read part 2. I was wondering how Garrett would feel...welp, now we know.

Where has this book been? I was definitely sleeping on this author! Sooooooooo freaking good. Dean is about that life, a former hitman trying to go straight, gets pulled backed in, all because of Rain. Rain is a cook, who owns and operates a food truck, only to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Dean is there to save the day, but at what expense? His brother's life? Poor Garrett...but wait there's another story to be told with Garrett and Oni, Rain's best friend and I can't wait to read it next. This book was filled with action, suspense, murder, betrayal, and super hot sex, all ingredients for a great bwwm, romantic suspense! 4 solid stars🌟🌟🌟🌟

OMG cliffhanger
This book is excellent and is appears as if everyone is getting a happily ever after, but the happy ending last all of one day and I am so glad the second book is out so I don’t have to wait to find out what happens! Great series so far.

BAM! My head just exploded like I was one of Dean's victims. What just happened? That's how I left this book after reading the epilogue. You see I was lulled by the craftiness of the author. She led me to believe there was a HEA for Dean and Rain, but then this happened. I don't know if I can wait to find out what's next, but I really have no choice.
Okay, let's go back to the beginning and start this thing off right. Dean is a former Russian hit man working with his best friend Garrett, also a former hit man. They run a legit PI business, but still have ties to the underworld. They have faked their deaths and are trying to keep a low profile. As a result they move into a building in an isolated part of town. They are the only ones on the block until she invades.
Rain, the owner of a bright pink food truck infiltrates the block by setting up shop in the parking lot of an abandoned grocery store. Dean does everything he can think to get rid of her to no avail. She is stubborn and tough and a bit hard headed.
Rain witnesses a meeting she shouldn't have and when things go wrong she is caught in the middle. The only way to survive is for Dean to protect her, but she doesn't want his help. He has to drug her to get her to do as he asks. In the meantime, the streets are hot and the ruthless leader of a gang wants Rain's head. Charged with protecting her, Dean refuses to turn her over to them.
This is where things get hot. Dean and Rain are into each other and being trapped in a safe house together for an extended period of time results in some steamy days and nights. He finally figured a way to free his best friend from the gang's torture, get out of the deal with them and remove the mark from Rain's head. It costs him more than he ever thought.
This book pulled me into the world of Dean and Rain and I sat like a fly on the wall anticipating what would happen next. A very nice read that kept me on my toes, lulled me into a false sense of security and then dropped the floor from up under me. I loved every minute of it!

Take a chance you will not be disappointed!!!
i was scrolling thru on Instagram! And came across this authors New release day page. I took a chance this was my first read by this writer and I was not disappointed at all. I read it in one sitting and can't wait for the 2nd in the series to be released..!!! It as funny packed with Enough suspense to keep you reading.

Independence versus common sense
This book started out great, intriguing alpha, independent heroine but some how the heroine’s independence became annoying and jeopardizing in the face of danger. TSTL?
This book lost me a little over halfway through. The storyline as well as the romance failed to progress.

They could not stand each other when they first met. Rain Delaney was a feisty and fierce young woman, she did not back down from Dean Collins insistence that she move her popular food truck across from his building. What she did not know was that Dean was trying his best to protect her from some hardened criminals who would stop at nothing if they felt threatening. A very important meeting was coming up where he could not risk having a lot of people around in case something went south. Dean and his partner Garrett were the owners of Collins and Chambers P. I. Firm as a front to laundry money for the Peligros crime family in return for their getting out of the Russian Bratva with new identities and lives in the United States.
Dean did not know what it was about the owner of the popular Pink Rain Delight Food Truck that turned him on. He never had an immediate visceral reaction of lust for a woman before. She was totally opposite for what he was usually attracted to in a woman. He recognized her as a kindred spirit as he had to fight for everything he had, even kill for it and she refused to back down from him. His partner warned him and told him that "once you go thick everything else ain't sh*t." That's what happened, he became addicted to her on first contact.
It was not until the unthinkable happened when Rain was caught in the crosshairs of a double cross that Dean had to unleash his former personna as one of the Butcher Brothers known as Ivan Sergeevich to protect Rain as well as find out who started the pop off and why. He vowed to protect Rain especially after what she did to protect him. Dean never had anyone to show him how to love or be loved but for Rain he wanted to. He felt that he was lucky to have her in his life. She made him want to be a better person and not the monster he always thought he was. With Rain, he felt complete and sated.
Ms Allen wrote a hot sizzling tale full of drama, action and suspense. The chemistry between Rain and Dean was off the chain erotic. It was great to read how Dean evolved from a man who only had sex to one who made love to the woman he was falling in love with. Their first reactions to each other was comical. Neither one of them wanted to let the other know that they were really attracted to the other. It was funny to hear what was coming out of their mouths versus what was going on in their heads. Even though Dean was trying to save both Rain and Garrett, Garrett is presenting another problem to solve. I hope the author does not take too long with the next book. I'm anxious to find out what Oni is going to do to Garrett.

What an entertaining ride! This story is action packed and fun. The story of Rain and Dean gets off to a rocky start. With both of them attracted to each other, however, their dualing businesses keeps them at each other's throats for 50% of the book. You have to be patient and wait until you're halfway through the book before these two actually do anything physical and give into their desires when they are thrown into an adventure together due to Dean's criminal entanglements and Rain being stubborn, which isn't a bad thing. She stands up for herself pretty well, so I enjoyed her character a lot. She's comfortable and confident with her full figure and Dean is sort of mesmerized by all of this, despite trying not to give in, eventually he can't help himself. The second part of the book is hot and steamy just like I like it lol We are left with a happy ending for Dean and Rain, however, we are left with sort of a cliffhanger relating to Garrett, Dean's partner and best friend. The continuing saga is coming up in Book 2 and I can't wait!

Great book!
First, I want to start off by saying THANK YOU for writing a book about a plus sized woman and not having her have self esteem issues!!!! So tired of reading books with big girls feeling bad about themselves.
I've never heard of this author before so I didn't know what I was jumping into, but the book was awesome. Loved both main characters. I loved how we got a chance to know the background on both characters and how they got to where they are in their lives. The male was an alpha male but not overly alpha and the female was feminine but not overly so. The action was on point too. Not going into details about the book because i don't want to give out any spoilers, but it is a great read.
The only issue I saw with this book was incorrect word usage, example: are was used instead of our. Won't instead of want. With that being said, it didn't take away from the story. You can understand what the author was saying.
I will definitely read more from this author. Looking forward to Garrett's story.

Bang.Up Job!!💥
When I chose this book I thought it was going to be some funny RomCom,but boy was I wrong!This story was so much more right out the gate,the writer lures you in to the web and never lets go.This was just good writing and so so entertaining with two characters that were just enjoyable to read about.I love that the action starts and doesn't let up.This was so much more that just romance,this was like watching an a tion movie and a romance thrown in the mix.The writer doesn't waste time with scenes that would slow the story and the mood that's been set.The characters are real and relatable.You are getting two people who are.strong but still have insecurities.This was.a.page turner and the story has something for everyone.Some readers might be turned off about how fast they think the heroine falls for the hero,but if you are really imagining the characters and the story you will understand.This was a banging story with everything that you want to keep you entertained!

This was a spicy read when the spicy parts happen. I had to pause and then come back to it.
Dean is a "reformed" made man living a new life in America. However he had an agreement with another made man every few months to discuss business. This person has strict criterias for these meeting.
Rain is the owener of a food truck and she moved her location in the vicinity of Dean's business.
Deans does not want her or her customers in that area before this business visit, so he tries to sabotage her to get her to move her location.
Rain figures out what he did and decides she gonna go to his job and speak her piece. When she soes this, she walks in on the tail end of their transaction that is about to go left.
This leads to Dean protecting her and the both of them hiding at one of his safe houses.

This read was a breath of fresh air. Rain is a strong and dynamic character, with a good head on her shoulders. She's a chef, and aspiring food-truck owner looking to put her spot on the map. Dean is equally as dynamic, dominant, and protective. His only goal, is to keep innocent people out of the vicinity of his business, for their own good. We run into a case of in the wrong place, and the wrong time and then we're off on an incredible mystery ride, that was fast paced, hits kept coming from left and right, filled with temptation and passion. I can't wait to find out what is next in their story.

What An Adventure......
This book had me captivated from the start and kept me entertained throughout. Not at all what I expected, after reading several reviews I decided to give this a try and I am so glad I did. A great balance of drama, suspense, action, heated sex and more drama. A wild alpha male and defiant but lovable heroine a great combination.
This authors wit and charm comes through effortlessly and produced a captivating read. I thoroughly enjoyed the build up and development of the H & H connection. Quite A compelling story that is well written and detailed, I would definitely recommend this book. A MUST read. Thank You MA

A great balance of drama, suspense, action, heated sex and more drama. A wild alpha male and defiant but lovable heroine a great combination.
This authors wit and charm comes through effortlessly and produced a captivating read. I thoroughly enjoyed the build up and development of the H & H connection. Quite A compelling story that is well written and detailed, I would definitely recommend this book. A MUST read. Thank You MA

I really enjoyed the book. I would have finished it sooner but work has been killing me.
The only turn off about this book was Rain’s foolish concept of being independent/strong. Don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with being independent but when you add stubbornness, it becomes a turn off and dangerous. Some of her actions got on my last nerves. If she recognized the danger she was really in, she would have listened sooner. Instead of Dean having to chase her stubborn self, he could have gotten his best friend/brother back a lot sooner.
I fully understand Garret’s anger towards Dean and Rain. I don’t blame him one bit.
I’m excited to read Garret’s story next.

Great love story!
I've had this book sitting in my library for two years. I happened upon it and read this book! If I could kick myself, I would! Once I started reading this book I could not put it down! Dean was the man and I really liked Rain's personality also! The two made the ultimate couple and I had to go to Amazon and buy every book by Ms. Allen! I'm off work today and about to start reading Garrett's story! I know it will be just as good as Dean's love story! Thanks, Ms. Allen you are a wonderful writer!

This book too me by surprise. I was expecting some cheesy ‘the billionaires triplets’ type of story with a title like dangerously curvy but it wasn’t cheesy at all. It was well written, intriguing and sexy. I like Rain who was sassy and confident but with a little vulnerability thrown in and Dean was hella sexy. I loved their attraction to each other and how caught of guard they both were by it. The book had me chuckling in places too. Phrases like “dick for days” and my p cheered had me cracking up. A very good read!

Dean's Rain
This book was a good one. Lots of drama, suspense, and HOT sex! I guess Rain had a bit of Stockholm Syndrome or she is a bit crazy. Dean was a "monster" that wanted to be better and got addicted to Rain after one taste. I really liked feisty Miriam. I read this book in one sitting. I wish that this book had another look through from an editor. I don't blame Garrett for being pissed at Dean I would be too. Looking forward to reading his story.

Even villains deserve love too!! I would recommend the book to read! You’ll fall in love with Garrett, Oni, and the Killer Crew! Once I start reading the this book, I didn’t want to put it down. I also love how my hometown of Douglasville, Ga and nearby county Villa Rica mention. Looking forward to reading more of M’Renee Allen aka Siren Allen’s books.

Great read
A strong, sassy female lead who doesn't back down, this lands her in hot water and she ends up going into hiding with Dean. I loved the action, the strong attraction between the leads from the get go despite them trying to resist eventually led to them burning up the sheets. I recommend this and book two. It's a great read and I'm now a firm fan of Ms Allen's and look forward to reading more from her.
