After a catastrophic incident at sea, that Lucas Graves and his friends were involved in—and maybe even partially responsible for—the crew decides to head home to New Jersey. They don’t expect much to get in their way, but of course, they’re dead wrong. With an entire cult of guardians after them, they’ll face their biggest threat yet… and not everyone is going to make it home.
Get ready to have your mind blown...
This book won’t tell you who really killed JFK or why your mother-in-law hates you, but it will answer all your other burning questions—including why we’re here, where we came from, what lies within Lucas’s best friend Harmony Jones, and what fate has in store for all mankind.
Alex Jameson is a regular guy who happens to love scaring his audience and inspiring nightmares. His fantastic debut novel, Clown Moon, has been followed by a darkly humorous series, The 100 Deaths of Lucas Graves.
This series is not my usual reading fare but I have enjoyed every book in the series and this one was no exception. The storyline is very creative and entertaining, and the characters are unusual and strange but not in an off-putting way.
Lucas and the rest of the group (Seth, Duncan, Noah, Roberta, Mercy, and Harmony), have managed to complete Lucas’s guardian task of stopping the Purple Haze trade. It came at a huge price but hopefully that’s the end of the problem. Unfortunately they are still in the sights of some evil guardians and staying away from them and with their lives intact is their primary focus.
There are definitely some surprises, not all good, but this is a book you shouldn’t miss.
Wow! This is quite the book. With each book in this series. I've thought how crazy, quirky and creepy this series is. This book doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend grabbing a copy of this book.
