Part of my complaint may be unfair because it's just the nature of an internet business. Some of the topics discussed are already out of date. The real reason for only 2 stars is that a few pages seem to have missed the editing step. There were typos or sentences that just didn't make sense.

The truly helpful fact I'm taking away from this book and had no idea about is that you cannot sell handmade items that use either copyrighted patterns nor copyrighted materials. It's okay to buy Disney fabric and make a pillow or quilt for a family member as a gift but you cannot sell it. Likewise, if you're using someone else's quilt/crochet/knitting pattern you can't sell the item. Who knew?

Otherwise the book is a weird mix of too easy (how to buy an item on ebay - you don't need to read a book to do this!) and too involved (set yourself up as a business with your city before you start selling). I'd recommend the ebay books in the Dummies series over this one.
