With true love, scheming THOTs don't matter!
Crystal and Led went through hell in their relationship due to the scheming of a selfish holding THOT and a so called friend giving out useless advice. Crystal's immediate reaction was to run, twice. Thank goodness real friends with true real advice. Both Crystal and Led had an immediate attraction to each other the first time the saw one another in their class. The soon found out that they had more in common with each other when they were forced to work in the same group on a project. Just when their relationship was about to hit the next level, trifling Rachael comes to steal their thunder twice.
Blue wrote a story that was full of lessons for young people today. This story showed how a young man let his focus slip on his goals for a moment and almost lost the woman he loved. He had intelleigence, drive and determination for his future and the momentary slip up almost ruined everything he was planning. The story also shows a young woman expanding her definition of who she can love When that gift is unexpected. It killed me how Crystal's father dragged Lee for what he did when could not throw stones at someone's living in a glass house of his own. Through it all, Led Johnson and Crystal Livingston had to remembered that when things get tough, they had to recall the many reasons why they loved each other. They were the ultimate power couple on the road for their HEA having learned the many lessons from their trial and were stronger and better for having experiencing them.

A book with many twists!
Lee is a new quarterback, finding his way on the team. His mother, and friends Kim and Kenny have great advice for him. Lee decides to go back to school to finish his master’s degree.
Crystal is also finishing her master’s degree, she wants to prove to her dad that she can finish something.
They are assigned to work a project together.
Lee’s teammate, a veteran, is trying to convince him that Crystal is no good for him.
The first half of this book is told from Lee’s perspective and the second half is told from Crystal’s perspective. There were so many twists in this book. I could not put it down. I read it in about 2.5 hours.

This was hard lovin
Lee and Crystal were absolutely perfect for each other. They loved each other like no one else could. To say they completed each other is putting it mildly. They were so tight, I didn't even mind the slight "hickup" along the way. This was sexy grown folk business, and I loved every bit of it. I usually love the male character and enjoy the female as an additional part of the story. Not this time, they were equally sweet, equally sexy, and if anything, Crystal was the Star too. I was sorry when this story came to an end. I hope to see more of them in the future.

Great story
Why can say about Blue Saffire's writing? It is so engaging and thought provoking. The characters are well developed and relatable. So Star is about Crystal and Lee. They meet while getting their MBA. He likes her immediately but she is cold to him because of some preconceived notions she has about him. Once she realizes he is not what she thought the sparka fly. They are perfect for each other! Of course they have some ups and downs but that doesn't keep them from getting their HEA. Great read!!!

Star!
I was super excited to read an AA book from Blue. She def hit the ball out of the park. She brings the same romance and awesome story telling as her IR books. This a quick easy read to devour and escape with. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you (I don’t understand what they are referring to). Lee and Crystal made a great team and I’m glad things worked out for them. Looking forward to more in this series. Hopes she continues to add more AA to her roster, she stepped out and nAiled it.

Nice
Another great read by Blue. Lee, is the man. Strong in his convictions and not to be deterred once his mind was set. Although, his one time lapse in judgment cost him time with Crystal, he double down on being a man of his word. Now, Crystal, she was all strength and grace and hard work but good lawd she was spoiled! She, was flighty and impulsive even though she "supposed" to have matured when she met Lee. The supporting characters of Kim and Kenny, were good for both Lee and Crystal. They kept them sane and on track. Overall, a nice read

Star of his world
Lee is the star on the field, but he quickly learns that Crystal is the star of his world. They both take care of each other, but she has a "runner's mentality" when things get rough. Instead of listening and talking, she avoids and run from it. Crystal had to learn how to stay put and to really trust her man, instead of everyone else. I love that she loves LJ as her own.

Loved it as if....
I’m not sure where in the line-up of great work this falls. This author is amazing put and simple. I fell in love with Where the Pieces Fall & decided to read every book by this author & she hasn’t disappointed me yet.
This up & down love story will have you on pins & needles in a good way and unable to predict the ending.
If you want a departure from the interwoven dominant stories this author creates, you’ll love this one.
Don’t miss out!

Very moving story, kept me gripped the whole way through...
This was a beautiful story about two very determined, ambitious people, who managed to meet each other at the right time in their lives. I loved how business minded and self reliant Crystal was, and Lee was just as clever as she was. Extremely enjoyable story.

I like it!!
I didn't read the first book before the REWRITE, as always Blue , that was a very nice read. I can hardly wait to read rest whole series.
I wish I could reach out and strangle Rachael.
Lee needs to learn to communicate better with his lady, most of that headache could be avoided, if only...

Enjoyed!
This book has been in my library for a while so I just decided to read it, and I am glad I did. I loved Lee and Crystal story it was emotional, and a teachable moment how things can change at any moment if you are not paying attention. I hope in the future it will be more of this series.

This book seemed to be written by two different people. The 1st part read like someone just learning to read. By the middle of started to sound like a real author. I liked the characters. Would have liked to have been introduced to all of her brothers though.

WOW
This was a great read. The struggles that Lee and Crystal faced was sad but I'm glad they made it. Rachael was a poor excuse for a mother a gold digging thot. Just great it should be a part too because Rachael's baby might be Sean's or KG ?

Blue is my color....
I didn't think I was going to like this but I ended up loving it. I had a feeling the chemistry was going to be fire between Lee and Crystal. You know the saying drunk men tell no lies. I can't wait for the next book.

This book was a sweet romance,however, I could tell it was an earlier work of this author. It does not have the grit and edge of your seat intrigue that her later work has.

This book was fire. Loved this couple and at end lessons to learn on staying focused. Blue sectors is my favorite author. I can't wait to read more from here and waiting on some of hers newest reads.

Excellent
What a great read, being from the UK it's a bit more difficult grasping the status of athletes. Really full characters that you could emphasize with, great storytelling. Blue Saffire never disappoints and this book just confirms that. I recommend.

I didn't dislike a single thing about this book. Thank you Blue for writing this book the way you did. Both sides. It was a story that needed to be told. As always, can't wait for the next book.

My first AA read from author Blue Saffire, Lee Johnson a rising star in the NFL, meets the woman who is the love of his life and his grounding foundation, Crystal. Things do not work out how Lee has mapped it all in his mind, he gets caught up and Crystal walks away. I was saying good for her; if he was so into her, his teammate could not have talked him into hanging out and running into ratchet Rachael. For me Lee wasn't the strong alpha male like the other characters in her other books, if Lee were he would have handled his business with ratchet and Crystal would have still been at his side. Lee should have stayed with this first thought and stay home; then he would not have had a problem when he already had potential.
