I am a wife, mother, child chauffeur and author. I love being able to create different characters and spin a web that makes them come together in the end. My books do not stick to just one genre, they span many.

I write about things that are real life situations and fairy tales are not always smooth sailing. My MC books are hard and gritty and they have struggles just like you would in life.

I also have books that are not so in your face. There are several that are good love stories that are fraught with issues that the characters have to deal with.

Black has just been let out of jail after two years of self destruction , brutal battles and chaos. Now he can go back to being the VP of his family the Satan's Rage MC, and check on little Rylee, but Rylee isn't innocent anymore .
She knows what she wants and she wants Black .But it's a dangerous life , especially for Black . Knowing that Rylee is the Daughter of his best friend and the Satan's Rage President .

Will Black walk away or vow to keep Rylee safe with his life ?

I Love Black !!
This story was filled with bloody action and gripping suspense .I enjoyed the great background characters the author wrote into their storyline maybe we'll see more of them in upcoming books.
Rylee and Black smoldered together even when it's heartbreaking and he's trying to push her away.
Could he do it ?
Can he live without her ?
That's when you find out ,They have a deeper connection one that can't be severed, because she feel's safe in his arms ... and he IS her Protector.

This is my confession: It happened. I was sucked into a blurb. It caught my eye when it showed up as a recommendation in a FB group so I said 'why not? I've never read this author.' At 22% I was drifting into DNF territory but, Im never one to NOT finish a book no matter what. Clearly, I found some issues with the book. Mainly the fact that it jumps around alot. Days, weeks, months. The first half of the book I didn't like either Black OR Rylee. He is just...an a-hole, frankly. Rylee, to me is a bit unhinged and immature (I'd give particular scenarios but I don't ever give spoilers). The 'enemy' is never really 100% clear. There are things that are mentioned or alluded to but no explanation or follow through. Time lines dont add up. The second half of the book was just a smidge better than the first. I'm still not sold on either character. Sadly, I'm not sure if I would read another by this author.

So why the 2 stars? Because I honestly think that this book had serious potential. Would I consider it a romance? Unfortunately...not really. The conflicts made the 'romance' take a back seat quite a bit. An epilogue would have been a good addition.

Black has been away for 2 years serving time. First place he goes to unwind and he sees her! The girl he was supposed to be protecting before he went to prison. He lost his shit!!!! What tha hell, She was a stipper now??

Ohhh ladies, you are going to love BLACK!!! He is all MC Alpha Male and doesn't take no shit!! When he left 16 year old Rylee, she was a sweet young girl that he thought of as a daughter and when he came back, Rylee is 18 and is sassy and mouthy and she has a killer body. Now that Black is back, he is trying to continue to be Rylee's protector, but he has another thing coming with her sassy attitude and her flirtyness. But now Black wants to do more then protect Rylee, he wants to make her his!!!

I gave this book 5 Bad Ass Mc Stars!!! I can not wait for the next book. I know I just finished book 1 but it was sooo good with all tha MC drama and the Hawt banter going on between Black and Rylee...I just need more!! : )

Awesome MC story. Theirs is a rough life but both Rylee as the Perez's daughter and Black as the clubs VP and Rylee's protector since she was a little girl, have grown up Knowing the score. But for every inch of Black's darkness, Rylee is a shining light! But what happens when they get a little to close to each other? What happens when trouble come knocking on the door (and we all know trouble is always around the corner in the life of a MC member)?

The author has written a wonderful story that I highly recommend. If I had one drawback it would be a few parts seemed rushed/not explained well, however as they story would progress those parts became clearer, and at No Time did those spots take away from the story to me! 2 Thumbs Up for a great book and I look forward to reading more from The Satan Rage MC!

I love all of Erin Trejo's MC books and this one did not disappoint. Black was always Rylee's protector but after he spent 2 years in prison and got out was when the sparks flew between them. They both fought it but in the end they gave in. But you know how the saying goes-- whenever you find your soulmate and happiness-- turmoil and chaos always happens. Read the book to experience Black and Rylee's journey.

Black Rylee’s Protector was a good 4 star read.

We start with Black getting out of prison and returning back to the club as their VP. When he goes to the strip club to see how things are going he is shocked to see who is on the stage. He immediately pulls Rylee off the stage. He has practically helped her dad raise her, in his eyes she’s still a kid.

Rylee has grown up and is now a woman. She knows what she wants and is determined to get Black in her bed. When she finally succeeds he starts to realize that his feelings go much deeper than he initially thought. Can these two really have a relationship? What will happen when her father finds out?

All I see is love. How can that be? How can it be that the one person I’ve tried to protect her whole life loves me? No one loves me.

There is so much more to this read than the relationship between Rylee and Black. There is a bunch of club issues and a huge twist that turns their life upside down. It seemed like there was always something going on. There is suspense, mystery, hot sex, heart stopping moments and fear. I really like this read but I couldn’t help but feel like some things were rushed or cut short. There was no cliff hanger but the end does lead towards the next book in the series. I would like to read more on these two and look forward to more of the Satan’s Rage MC.

Erin Trejo has done it again another fantastic story to add to all the others.
I was pulled into this story right from the beginning and stayed there until I had finished it, all the time watching it play out in my head.
Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book, oh boy what surprises they are, some you may see coming others you won't, but they all aide in making the story fantastic.
I laughed, I got annoyed and yes I shed a tear or 2.
I highly recommend this book.
Erin Trejo is one of my favourite authors, I love her books.

I received this book for an honest review. First time reading anything by Erin Trejo and I must say she wrote a great MC book with twists and turns that will have you captivated. The characters and storyline will hold your interest from beginning to end. This book had it all danger, MC club rivals, kidnapping and romance. Black and Rylee's connection was beautifully written, he is VP who just got out of prison and vowed to protect Rylee as he protected her while she was growing up in the club because her father just didn't know how to raise a daughter. Rylee loved Black all her life and now she is going after him and Black finds himself loving her more than he should, but Rylee doesn't give up and he finally gives in. The love these two share was very emotional. I am definitely looking forward to more from this author and this biker club. I found this to be a fabulous book about the MC . This is a must read and I highly recommend to all.

Five Amazing Stars! Black is the VP of Satan's Rage MC Club and he was just released from prison after serving two years. Prior to going to prison Black used to protect Rylee who is his best friend's daughter. Rylee is 18 and currently stripping in the club when Black first sees her. Black realizes that he is attracted to Rylee and she is attracted to him. Black tries to fight his feelings and push Rylee away but this does not last long. Will Black and Riley eventually give in to their feelings? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it to be well written. The story is filled with action, romance, bikers and so much more. I felt that Black and Rylee have great chemistry. I was engaged from the first chapter and could not put the book down! This is the first book in the Satan's Rage MC Series and I can't wait for the next one! This is the first book by this author that I have read and I definitely will be looking forward to reading more! Highly recommended it!

How to explain the way this book made me feel.... I was so excited to read this book, but with the excitement was a wealth of nervousness and trepidation as this was a new to me author. I knew there was going to be twists and turns, and chaos, but what happened never even entered my mind!

Together Black and Rylee give you a taboo and explosive relationship that will keep you turning the page. The characters are developed and the plot was intriguing and exciting. I loved how dark and gritty this read was. And I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Black: Rylee’s Protector by Erin Trejo

This is the first book I have read by this author. Generally, I do not read MC books but the blurb caught my attention and I gave the book a chance.

I had a difficult time getting through the book not because the book is bad but the way the characters spoke (which most likely is an accurate depiction) was difficult to read and follow. The story of Rylee and Black had a mix of bad ass guys, violence, love, lust, drugs, murder and lies. There were some twists that played out to keep you guessing.

The characters as individuals where not complex but the dynamic between all the different MC Clubs had this reader having to back track occasionally to re-read the scene to understand what was happening.

We meet Black for the first time as he is leaving a two-year prison sentence. He is this VP of the Satan’s Rage MC club and his best friend Nico is the President. They take Black back to their clubhouse The Fire. Stepping back into this life gives Black the sense of family and belonging. We quickly learn he is the brains of the club and was responsible for keeping them growing.
Now meet Rylee, daughter of Nico. For years Black was charged with being her protector as she grew up. The first-time Black sees her she is stripping in their club. Obviously, Black was not happy when he sees her and forces her off the stage. Shortly after this scene Rylee expresses her love and need to be with Black. The feelings these two have for each other is sweet but I really didn’t get a sense of chemistry between the two. Black raised her and thought of her as a daughter but at the same time has strong feelings for her.

The story takes off from there. A lot of action with other MC clubs, deals being made, kidnappings, murder, love, and family finish out this story. The world that is painted for us to live in during this read was not the environment most people would consider ideal for love which is why I didn’t get the sense of chemistry in the story.

If you are a fan of MC romance book then this will fit into your library nicely.

He had protected Rylee since she was a little girl but she is all grown up now and has her eyes on him. Unfortunately he isn't a good man but she is his light to his darkness so how can he resist. This is the story of Black and Rylee and it was a tough journey but so worth every step. Wow! I wish I could give this book a million stars it was that good. Black and Rylee have so many hurdles in order to be together the top two are her father President of the Satan's Rage MC and Black himself. This story was so moving and full of danger, passion and the true meaning of family. WOW! Mind blown again!!! Erin Trejo is definitely an author to follow.

I love MC romance and I love “Black Rylee's Protector”. Being that Erin is a new author to me, I wasn't sure I'd like her writing. I was extremely impressed with this book. The complex characters and the superb writing drew me in until the very last page. “Black Rylee's Protector” has so much depth, emotion, intrigue, suspense, great sex, violence, club rivals, kidnapping, romance....everything I want in a great MC book. If you're looking for an exciting, heart-pounding story that will hold your attention right till the end, then this is the one.

This story had me gripped with its intense emotional and sometimes violent events, it is well written and has a few twists and turns to keep you enthralled. I am definitely looking forward to more from this biker group. Rylie is strong and feisty, growing up in the life and surrounded by these bikers has made her that way. Black has been in jail but he loves Rylie in more ways than he should, he is out and ready to take up his life but life has a way of knocking you off your feet. Exciting, tough and a little suspenseful in places. I found this to be a fabulous read.

Not my typical MC read, but this was one damn good book! I wan't really thrilled with the age gap between Black and Rylee, whoever this book's characters were very well developed and the storyline exciting, intriguing and hot as hell. Black's character is dark, just like his heart with the exception of the light that burns inside for the one that he was never supposed to touch, Rylee. The daughter of his MC President. She's young, young in age but mature and one hundred percent woman and Black, though he knows he shouldn't, just can't seem to get her out of his mind or his black heart. She's his only light, and she loves him....deeply. This is really one good read and I do recommend this book to all MC lovers.

Loved Black and Rylee ' s story. You have Black who just returned from prison. Before he went he helped raise and take care of Rylee. He felt like she was a daughter and protected her. But now you have Rylee who is grown and Black finds out it is her getting ready to strip in a club. His protective instincts kick in and he makes her leave. From there the attraction just escalates, and Black finds himself fighting his feelings and he tries to push Rylee away. Twists with adrenaline form throughout this book. Does Black eventually give in and take Rylee as his? Do they survive the battle the will have to go through?

I loved Black! Erin Trejo knows how to tell you a story, one filled with emotions, darkness, intrigue, soul crushing romance and everything in between. I loved how he felt the need to protect Rylee, even if that meant from himself. The electrifying connection the two of them makes for and an awesome read I didnt want to put down!! I am really looking forward to reading more from Erin Trejo, hopefully soon!

Freaking Awesome Book

I absolutely loved this story! Black is a badass biker who falls for his best friends daughter, at first he has a hard time with realizing he loves her but after he accepts it he will do anything to keep her and take care if her. This book is another great story by Erin Trejo.

Steamy MC romance. Black is just released from prison and finds his club is struggling. Rylee is the club president's daughter and Black has always taken care of Rylee. Rylee is an adult now and has feelings for Black. Can Black see Rylee as an adult ? What will Rylees dad think? With all the club having one crisis after another can Black and Rylee have a future together? I highly recommend this book.

So, I didn’t dislike this book. But, not something I would recommend either. 2 stars because the story had definite potential. But was seriously lacking in believability. I’m not a fan of the drug use. It wasn’t necessary to the story. It just didn’t ring true with me. More back story and emotion, less cocaine.
