Firestorm is part four of Andrew C. Broderick’s Relissarium Wars Space Opera series. The team return to base after the events on Relisse, where Senator Philo Nazir heads an investigation to uncover a traitor. With their current plans now known to the Yasta, the Carbonari must re-evaluate their tactics if they want to stay ahead of the enemy.

Again there were a few niggly errors, but otherwise this was a good read. It lacks the action of previous instalments, concentrating more on dialogue and analysis of earlier events. So don’t expect much in the way of military battles or edge-of-your-seat suspense. It doesn’t move the story on very far, however worth reading if you’re a fan of the series.

I received an ARC of this book from Andrew C. Broderick and voluntarily chose to write this review.

I'm reviewing and advance copy of this book.

The chapters in this book are shorter, and there are more of them, and somehow it seemed that it took longer to read. After checking, it's one of the longest book in the series so far. And that's a great thing, because the other books seemed short.

The seemingly never ending action finally slows down with our team injured, and while they heal the hunt for the spy starts in force. There is some action in some parts of Firestorm, still this book is more about the growing relationship between the group members, suspicion and, later on, planning, Some of our heroes don't appear in the first part of the book, so we do get to see things from other people's perspective. And that is refreshing.

one of the best books so far because it stands out as contrast for the others while building the crescendo for the next book in the series.
