Lady Guardians: Justice was written by USA Today Bestselling & Award Winning Author Xyla Turner

Eva aka Justice
As the National President of the Lady Guardians Chapter, I have no choice but to be fierce, loyal and protective. It's in my nature and essentially a part of my makeup. A lawyer by day and biker by night, I enjoy the feel of the road, the sisterhood of my club and the support from the National Legion of Guardians.
What I don't appreciate is some nosey lawyer coming to our compound, requesting my presence and making me recognize him. Then he shows up on my job with the offer of a lifetime.
He's got to go because the promises that he swears by are getting more enticing.

Alaric
I'm a Pennsylvania District Attorney and I don't take no for an answer. Especially when the spirited woman reams into my colleague and ignored me as if I don't exist. I wouldn't stand for that and if I had to track her down at her place of business, I would.
Well, I did.
There, she can't ignore me.
And she won't because I won't let her.

This IR/BWWM novel is raw, yet sexy and an HEA.

Truth!

Eva "Justice" Wyatt is a bad woman! She is an accomplished lawyer and the Prez of a female MC. She does not suffer fools gladly and has no time for bull crap. Her word is law in the MC and works triple hard at the firm. She takes care of others but no one takes care of Justice.

Alaric Hunt takes one look at Eva Wyatt and his world is permanently altered and he would not have it any other way. He's the DA and is used to people obeying him without question. He always got what he wanted because of his commitment and tenacity. Her saw Eva and wanted her. But this time his word, commitment not his tenacity garnered him what he wanted.

Eva saw Alaric and was taken aback but kept it moving. Alaric realized he had work to do and that is what this book is all about. A few minor typos but an awesome story. Truthfully I didn't catch them until my second reading of "Justice."

This is an intriguing and wonderfully written tale of discovery, commitment and love. I encourage all to take a chance on The Lady Guardians series. You will not be disappointed. A most excellent job Xyla Turner!

Great to read a biker book from the female biker perspective. Only problem was it just lacked edge, Insta love again n all the same trademarks of the wealth of mc books out there. Being written from the woman's perspective wasn't enough to carry the book I'm afraid. I was hoping for so much. Too tame, too easy, too perfect, too boring too everything.

Really disappointed

This is book 1 in the spin off series - Lady Guardians. It is a series of MC stories featuring the All female version of the Guardians. Each story will be written by a different author. It should be interesting. Since this book was written by the author who started it all in the Legions of Guardians series, I decided to give it a chance.

Justice is a lawyer by day and MC President by night. Her ladies fight for equality and women's rights. They are big into community service and spend a lot of their time and money making things right in the community. Though the Lady Guardians are not allowed to join the men, they are affiliated and fall under the same umbrella as equals. Justice reports to Razor who is now the National President of the Guardians.

After a trial where the ladies are helping a lady who was attacked and beaten by a rival gang, she ends up going off on the lawyer because he said disparaging things about bikers. In the audience is a gorgeous man, Alaric who loves every minute of it. He is smitten and decides to make her his.

Justice wants no part of him, so he decides to stalk her at her club. It turns out the man is the DA. He is so taken with her that he convinces the state to give a pro bono contract to her law firm with Justice as the lead and he as the liaison.

After much angst and resistance Justice finally gives in to his requests to go out. He is persistent, sexy and all alpha male. As alpha as he was, he had never seen anyone like Justice. BTW, Justice was on a sexual drought and had not ever in her entire life had an orgasm. Whaaat?

Well, old alpha male Alaric changes all of that in five minutes. The man was talented to say the least. They fall in love and then the drama comes. Justice runs and the Guardians are called in to help find her. It was a mess.

I enjoyed the crossover of the series, having Razor, Bronx, Apollo and Bear from the Legions of Guardians make an appearance. The book ends on a HEA, but there are several more stories to come.

He knew what he wanted and went after her

From the first time Alaric Hunt saw Eva Justice Wyatt read his friend the riot act in the courtroom, he was smitten with her. He likes the way she and her MC Club, not gang, what they stood for, doing a lot of community based work which Eva got her law firm R.W.E. to incorporate with the help of Alaric Hunt, the District Attorney of Reading, PA. Eva was leary about getting involved with him since he would be working with her. As she put it, "I don't sh%t where I eat," as she had already being burned by getting involved with a co-worker years prior. Rick brought out a side of her she did not think she could reach. She had to learn how to trust again and go to him with any questions that she had about him instead of disappearing. That scared the mess out of Rock and it was then that she knew along with everyone else that he was head over heels in love with her.

This was a somewhat sweet story about two professional people dedicated to their jobs and beliefs, coming to an understanding about their attraction for one another and all of the road blocks that may entails with a lawyer who was also the president of a ladies' MC club and another lawyer who was also the District Attorney. They had to find their way around controversy to grab a hold of and keep their HEA.

*WARNING* contains explicit adult situations
Eva (Justice) is the President of the Reading chapter of the Lady Guardians. Justice is also a lawyer, but keeps her job and club life separate. Justice is proud of all the good her club does, so when some lawyer starts spouting stereotypical "gang" activities about the Lady Guardians, she gets very angry. Justice has no personal life, probably because she is unable to orgasm.
Alaric is the ADA and when he sees the pretty lady telling off his old college buddy about something he said, well he has to find out more about her.
This was a great story. I've never read a story where a main character was unable to have an orgasm, so that was different. I like that this MC is community base, they do nothing illegal. The character of Justice is a bit of a hypocrite though, she gets angry at a lawyer for stereotyping MCs, but she stereotypes Alaric several times, what I like about is even though Justice is a strong, Alpha female, she will own her mistakes and apologize when she's wrong. This book was incredibly easy to read. It has some laugh out loud scenes that should work for an MC story, but do. This book is well edited and i'd recommend to adult who likes romance novels with an HEA.

"Lady Guardians: Justice" by Xyla Turner

My Thoughts....

We find Justice was an attorney by day and the president of her bike club by night. A District Attorney [Alaric] sees Justice in action in court and is indeed interested and being the determined person he was will get a date. How will this play out with Justice being with a this good looking Alpha male? As we will see from the read Justice got much more than she thought she would from Alaric. As time presented itself seeing Alaric go up against 'Razor, Bronx, Apollo and Bear [a few from the Legion of the Guardian Series] to get who he wanted when it came to Justice was quite a interesting read. The ending to the story was really beautiful as these two finally will get close to their HEA.

Justice is the start of the Lady Guardians series that are written by different authors and loosely connected. This novella is a great introduction to the series. It introduces the Lady Guardians in all of their bad@assery. Prez (Justice) is a strong and determined leader who doesn't live for the spotlight. She is passionate about her MC and her career. Alaric Hunt steps into the picture throws that all out of whack. Neither is prepared for the other. Justice isn't prepared for how Alaric pushes his way into her life and Alaric definitely isn't ready for a woman who says exactly what she means and doesn't mince words. Although the story is short, there is enough meat and action that makes the reader want a little of Justice in her own personality as well as wanting to alternately smack and jump Alaric's bones.

Never say never

I'm going to enjoying reading this series. Lady Guardians, come through. Even though never was in her vocabulary, Eva learned to never be say never, especially to a man like Alaric. He was just the right person to tear down her walls as well as expand them, causing her to pleasure like she never had before. I enjoyed a few laughs between the characters and their M'Buka challenge was highly intense yet very satisfying. Looking forward to reading all of the novellas about the various women and their MC chapters.

I'm hooked

I'm an avid reader. As such, it feels like I've read every story/theme or story idea before. When a new concept comes along, I jump on it!
A lot of times, the main characters mesh well as a coup!e but are not likable separately. This wasn't the case with Lady Guardians: Justice. I really loved Eva! She's so kickass! I wanna be like her when I grow up. Alaric is my new book boyfriend.
I loved the concept, the characters and the Lady Guardian world. I can't wait to see what's next. I have the next book in the series queued up and ready.

😍 Great story!

I loved the Legion of Guardians series and I just knew I would love this one. I loved Alaric and Eva aka Justice. Though they could be intense, I think them being together brought out the best in each other. And though they were an interracial couple, they didn't let that deter them nor were they afraid to tackle tough topics about color. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series. There were a few grammatical and editing errors but they didn't stop me from reading this enjoyable book! Until the next...

I love this first book in the Lady Guardian's series!!!!

The fact that Alaric was so sure and all in about what and who he wanted that it was so hard not to find him attractive and irresistible. The fact that both Eva and Alaric had alot in common, work in the same profession they both understood the other's working hours. I loved how much the Guardians were a big family because they stood up for and with each other.

Good start of this Series

I enjoyed this book, and now my appetite is served for the other characters. I really liked Justice's character. She was wrong and smart. I liked that fact that she didn't play too many games. I like Alaric for her. He's also strong and the right mix for those two. What is going on with Brooklyn. What's the stories with Goldie and Cut. They both seem like fun characters. Looking forward to the other books.

No, Is Not in His Vocabulary!!

Alaric took one look at Justice in the court room and was instantly smitten with her. Justice didn't like or Alaric was an arse just like his fellow lawyer, but he turned out to be so much more. Justice made him wait to speak to her. I love the fact that he told Eva/justice that he would "Out run her, out last her, and where her down" and Alaric kept his word he did exactly that, but Eva/Justice fort him every step of the way.
I cannot wait to see who's up, In the next installment.
The only thing I didn't like about this book was that it was too short, I'm hoping Xyla the next chapter is much longer.

Justice

Justice, as national president, is the one a Lady Guardian that appears in each of the multi author books in this series. This was a nice story about her finally coming into her own personally. This book included a number of editing errors that should have been caught before publication.

Justice and Ric are power couple goals and ambitions. I loved the way their story unfolds and takes readers into insecurities we all face and how the love of the right person can change your whole life and bless you beyond measure. Kudos to Ms. Xyla Turner she has found a new reader and I will continue to check into her books.

Dry

This is the first book in the Lady Guardians series featuring the president Justice. While it was well written book, it just couldn't hold my attention. I painstakingly made it through to the end. Hopefully the other stories are a lot more interesting. This just missed the mark!
