Turns out,it maybe was...in a good way,Meik & Sebastian...
This second book goes a bit further....

I'm finding myself increasingly bored by a lot of MM books and I've finally realized it's a way a book engages me that really makes it work...and sometimes the one's you weren't expecting do just that.

I was expecting something better and I’m so sad!!!!! Quin Perin give me my smut fix but this one isn’t cutting it. Meik is just an asshole and Sebastian doesn’t have any character personality. We sort of get why Meik is an asshole with the flashbacks but even then it’s not convincing enough for me to like him. And what’s with the ‘boy!’ with the exclamation mark? It honestly just sounds like a demeaning old white man from the south (if u know what I mean)
The one scene that was good was the BJ but it wasn’t something that wasnt done before by so many writers before.
Anyway. Not sure if I’ll continue this mini series even though there are only two more left. But I’ll wait it out see how I feel about it

Omg this is something else...
While Sebastian is still in Meik his apartment we get a look into a past... an unexpected one... Just a fraction revealed, slightly enough to get a bit of a picture... but dear goodness there are some skeletons.
The question rise who is obsessed and about exactly what...?
Amazingly catchy story, strong written and very captivating.
The sexy scenes are scorching as hell... dirty and high voltage brute sex... no fondness or sweetness... so you know! But there is some kind of promise that deep down there are feelings and emotions... or maybe it is just my hope lol
Two opposites yearning for the same... release... but will that be enough? Hmm I doubt.
It end with a cliff and thank goodness I have already the next installment (I hate cliffs)
#3 can’t wait to start this one.

The hot, hot sexy times between Meik and Sebastian continue ... but beware! There be some angst here! In book two, we get a closer look into Meik's past (for instance, why he freaks out when Sebastian gets sick from a winter chill). Their relationship changes and grows and develops. The SEXXX is still hot as ever OMG, but there's more depth here. I'm super interested to see where book three goes!! This does end on a cliffhanger that made me want to stomp my feet and pout, but it'll be worth the wait for book three. Maybe we'll learn more about Sebastian?!? I adore this snarky, pretty sub :)

I liked this one better than the first one, though I really wanted to kiss Meik with my fist a few times.
His background story is a plus one of this book, and I guess I knew what this story will leads.
Though I think Meik is already obsessed with Sebastian, he still can't let go of his haunted past, and it's definitely become an obstacle to his 'relationship' with Sebastian.
Poor Sebastian need to grow a little backbones to avoid being a doormat for Meik.
Can't wait to read the next installment!

I'm enjoying the way the authors are growing the storyline in Obsessed. Both characters have intriguing pasts and the whole thing is unfolding nice and slow... with lots of hot, dirty sex in the meantime.
Meik is a fascinating character (and I'm definitely hoping for a prequel!). Not going to spoil it for you if you've not read it yet, but there's stuff in his past that begins to explain why he's so broken. The love to hate them protagonist is my favorite kind - when they mess everything up and hurt the ones they love? It's magic.
There is some nice humor in Obsessed #2 as well...
and with luscious descriptions like this:

I think fans of this series are in agreement that we need a lot more than three books of Meik and Sebastian.
Meik is a fascinating character (and I'm definitely hoping for a prequel!). Meik🐺🍆🌋👋, as we learned from book one, is a very successful businessman, who doesn't do relationships. He is a bisexual man but leans mostly homosexual. It's all about the power to him. He's always the one in control.
He found Sebastian👨, a gorgeous young street musician 🎸, and took him home. Now he can't seem to get the young man out of his thoughts. He finds himself not paying attention at work, his mind wanders because of his obsession with Sebastian👨!
Meik🐺🍆🌋👋 wants to have Sebastian👨 at his beck and call, but somehow not be in a relationship with him. Seems his fantasies know no bounds! He wants Sebastian👨 like he is merely an object, his toy🎠. Meik🐺🍆🌋👋 wants to use him and he is so arrogant, he doesn't even consider if Sebastian👨 has any feelings!

The only thing that was annoying was the over use of the words brunette and blonde, used instead of names or pronouns.

Meik can't stop thinking about Sebastian a week after their interlude. He decides to do something about it and tracks down Sebastian.
We get a bit more of Meik's story, maybe he hasn't always been the heartless arrogant asshole he is now..
Together they are super hot and their arrangement is working out well for both of them.. until it doesn't.
My only peeve with this book was the constant use of the words "blonde & brunette" to identify each man...
I look forward to reading book 3 and seeing where their journey goes from here.

This second installment of the story of Meik and Sebastian was even better than the first! We begin to see more of Meik’s past history and what might make him the way he is - the guy you love to hate! The sex is hot and heavy between Meik and Sebastian. Make sure you read the first installment before you read this one. There is a cliffhanger, so I will anxiously await #3!

I couldn’t wait for the book two after I got done reading Obsessed #1. I was hooked, and I’m glad we didn’t have to wait long for the next part of Meik and Sebastian’s story. The sex continues to be hot (like super-hot – fans self). This book offers a little more depth into Meik, and you start to get more of Meik’s story. When we finally get the whole story from Meik, I just know it’s going to be crushing. I can’t wait for book 3 to see where this continues!

I knew Meik was sweet underneath all the bullshit. Maybe not to Sebastian, but he is sweet. This one gives us a glimpse of the real Meik and is deeper than book 1. I was kinda expecting more of the same of what we had in book 1, but it was so much more. Now Meik just has to get his shit together, and Lillie's bomb has me intrigued. Can't wait for book 3.

Quick, Hot and Dirty..It it what it is (as the author's explained and I'm hooked) You see another side of Meik in this one and learn more about his past...Am I a fan of the author's using the terms blonde/brunette at times instead of names? Not really.....It is a bit distracting, but I'm forging forward anyway!! LOL Totally looking forward to #3.

The continuation of Meik and Sebastian takes off where Obsessed 1 ends. Meik is consumed with thoughts of the sexy street musician. Rarely does he let anyone get too close or demand his attention so much. Sebastian has somehow gotten under his skin.
Meik finds Sebastian in the freezing cold. He takes him home cleans him up and insists on him resting, thinking he is ill. Meik is forceful and dominant and plans to keep his potential boy toy at a distance and playing by his rules. Sebastian has other ideas.
Their chemistry is off the charts and they are seriously on fire together! Sebastian pushes Meik in ways he never thought possible. However with that push and pull we learn more about Meik and some very serious things from his past. He certainly has a deep back story that the authors scratched the surface on.
A bad boy with a back story, HAF, and compelling characters make this a five star page turner!

Meik is a man that you love to hate. In this book you get a glance into why he is the way he is. There is a glimpse of a good man in there but every time it shows he shuts it down. I'm rooting for Sebastian and Meik, but the connection was lost for me this book. I didn't like the way he treated Sebastian. Even in this arraignment I felt like Sebastian wasn't treated like a person with feelings. I can't wait for book 3 to see what comes of this pair.

This is part two of Meik and Sebastian's story, and you MUST read part one first. MUST!! And I strongly recommend you wait til you have all four parts in your possession, cos you will hate having to wait for the next one! I am!!
Again, this is so bloody short! 99 pages, poof, gone, just like that!
Meik is still obsessed with Sebastian, so much so, that he pulls Sebastian off the streets and into his home, to be HIS. But having Sebastian in his home is bringing up memories, long buried memories and Meik doesn't know how to deal with those memories, so he does what he does best, lashes out.
Something is wrong with Meik, he reckons he is sick. It's the only way he can explain his total and utter obsession with Sebastian! Personally, I think the poor man is simply deluded about what's up with him. But Meik, being Meik, he'll get there under his own steam, he's just gonna hurt a few people first.
As soon as Sebastian decides he is staying at Meik's, Meik goes all out to make him HIS, to mark him, inside and out. And oooeeee! Do these boys get up to some serious marking!
Meik's memories are surfacing though, and we don't get all of the whole story and they come at you out of order and out of left field. But you know, you just KNOW when it all comes out, and it does HAVE to come out, and we get the whole sorry story, its gonna be painful, it really is. He is unraveling, quickly, and I don't know where this is going, but its going really fast and you gotta keep up!
It is again only told from Meik's point of view. I knew that going in, but I STILL wanted to hear from Sebastian! It doesn't affect my star rating, this time, because I knew. But I'm just greedy with my books, and I ALWAYS want more.
How long do I have to wait for part three?? I dunno, I'm gonna be waiting, waiting, waiting, WAITING!
Oh just gimme already, okay?? I can't wait!
So, even though its so bloody short, and even though only Meik has his say, and because I can see some of his memories playing out and I don;t want them to play out the way I see it, but I really do (and if THAT makes any sense to you, you is good!) and BECAUSE it's such a cliff hanger...

Meik and Sebastian’s hot journey resumed. This time, with a bit of emotion involved. The authors were more generous in this episode, and I’ve had the chance to take a peek at Meik’s past. Quin and Perin continue to feed me with hotness, and I am loving the restless sex going on.
On my review of the first installment, I didn’t talk much about Sebastian, because honestly, there’s not so much to say. But now, he is turning more and more into a victim (willingly, but still), and I can’t help but feel bothered about this little boy. As much as I am enjoying the steams, the arrangement seems unbalanced.
I can’t believe I am talking feelings right now, but is it not unfair that all Sebastian could do is obey? He enjoyed it, yes. And yes, Meik’s past helped me understand a few things... but the sequels of this series better give justice to Sebastian or his virginity will have been wasted to a successful yet self-centered Meik. Not cool. I may have accidentally admitted my liking to Meik’s annoying character, but you can’t always be an a-hole to a precious young boy who happens to fulfill your filthy desires. Or can you?
But I know things will come around (I can feel it) and Sebastian and Meik’s story, once they get a happy ending, will be one of the gay fictions I would always remember. I have to admit that I am more frustrated with how this installment ended than the first one. I was left wanting more. But I know it would take time to write a story as brilliant as this, so I’ll patiently wait.
If I am rating the writing alone, no doubt I would give this one a perfect score. I won't deny how I have shamelessly savored every page about Seb and Meik and if there’s any way I could actually have sex with oh look at that... Ugh, what a fantastic read.

Oh, how I love this series! Meik & Sebastian: Obsessed # 2 is a deliciously naughty story. I loved the first one in the series and couldn’t wait to read this second book. In case you are not aware, these are not standalone romances. The plot is a continued from book to book so you will need to read the first story before beginning this one.
At the end of the first book, I was left with a lot of questions, especially in regards to Meik. We learn a little more about his past, which has shaped him to be the man he is today. The book used flashbacks to explain his past, and they were well placed and read smoothly in the story.
This second book is a bit different than the first. But, don’t worry! It’s just as blazing hot! Meik is a brooding alpha male who needs to have all of the power. He’s such a fascinating character, and I feel drawn to him. He has a lot of ghosts in his past, and he hasn’t deal with them. I understand why he puts all of his energy into whatever he is doing. What fascinates me, even more so, is Sabastian! I want to know more about him! I am dying to hear his perspective!
I just love this series and can’t wait for the next one! This second book might be even hotter than the first book, and I didn’t know that was even possible! The first one was so dang hot and oh-so-spicy!
Oh, BTW, you’ll need a fan, some tissues, and an extra pair of panties while reading this one!

I devoured the first one so when I got the opportunity to read the second I could not pass it up and boy it did not disappoint.
Book two is as hot if not hotter actually yeah probably hotter than book one but this time you get some of Meik’s background. Not enough but enough to keep you intrigued.
If anything you get glimpses of why he is the way he is so you will still either love him or hate him. Me personally I love to hate him.
It does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book three to see where it go’s next.
I would recommend reading book one first as book two continues straight on. You won’t regret it. It’s hot and sexy with a main M/C you love to hate who is too hot for words. Roll on book 3 and possibly 4&5 lol

If anything you get glimpses of why he is the way he is so you will still either love him or hate him. Me personally I love to hate him.
It does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book three to see where it go’s next.
I would recommend reading book one first as book two continues straight on. You won’t regret it. It’s hot and sexy with a main M/C you love to hate who is too hot for words. Roll on book 3 and possibly 4&5 lol

This is the second installment in the Meik & Sebastian novella series by Quin Perin and needs to be read in order. I liked this book so much better than the first one. It has more depth to it along with the heat shown in book 1.
We are shown glimpses of Meik in the past, and I really want to see his whole backstory in the future, as it shows him in a much more favorable light. We still don’t get to see Sebastian’s side of the story (though if you sign up for their newsletter, there is a scene shown from his POV).
This book ends in a cliffhanger and I need to know what happens next! Will Sebastian forgive him for being a grade A jerk? Will Meik be able to work through issues in his past so Sebastian could be his future? What bomb is Lillie about to drop on Meik about Sebastian?

As character development continues, the physical relationship becomes more intense. Meik is overbearing and harsh at times with Sebastian, and Meik's past is like a ghost on his shoulder at times. Sebastian is still much of a mystery to the reader.

"The way his eyes rolled and lashes fluttered as his arm tensed, the quiet whimper that fell from him- it all told the story."
"And then, like an eagle plummeting down to catch its prey, their lips crashed together."

Wow! This book was amazing. I loved the first one too, but this is so much better. I love Meik's POV - but im definietly dying to know what Sebastian thinks - and after that i read about Gabe, my heart was broken. It hurts to read about such love and the knowledge that it was not HEA for him...
Anyway, this series is addictive, i didn't want to put it down.
Short, sexy, lovely characters, full with feelings, gay first time and bareback scene- what can i say, just perfect.
And im dying to know what happens in the next book! I am happy to had a chance to read this.

Such a better book #2 than what I read in book #1. Now the reader gets excerpts into Meik's history and these peaks answer a lot of my questions about what motivates Meik. This plot has twists and turns between him and Sebastian. I look forward to exploring Sebastian and his former life b/f Meik. For this honest review I was graciously given an ARC and my opinions are solely and voluntarily my own.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Loved the story of the characters Meik & Sebastian. Meik is making me get a little upset with him, as well as Lillie. Sebastian is my favorite of the story. I hope to see the two work out, on being a couple. Crosses fingers. The two sure know how to steam up the pages like a sauna room, and making a person wishing for ice water to cool them off. Can’t wait to read what happens next.

This is the second book in the series and Meik is more obsessed with Sebastian and takes him in off the streets. Sebastian’s presence is triggering memories for Meik which is causing him to fall apart. Will he get over his need for Sebastian or will these memories destroy him? Steamy read with plenty of drama and amazing characters, Meik has a lot of pain he is trying to hide and I imagine we will learn more about it soon. A great read!

Oh as we learn more about Meik, where will this story go? Definitely erotic, steamy, no BS sex with an arrogant dominating man. But what happens when he can't seem to let go of his beautiful musician? We are delving into the mind that is Meik and learning what makes this man so very Dom. This part of the ride is what I'm dying to learn next.

I couldn't put this one down. I really enjoyed the hotness in book one but book two had me hooked. This book is well written, the hot scenes could give you a real flush! The thing with this book is it leaves you with a little more understanding into the character Meik. I think a fell for him a little. Sebastian is so good for him not that he can see that.
This book has more angst in it which grips you and pulls you in. I have to say these are characters I can't wait to see what happens next with them.
To sum this up if you want lots of hot action, well written, troubled men then start with book one and I'm sure you'll be jumping to read the this book.

I don’t know what to say. I love these guys. Meik’s selfishness towards his needs and Sebastian’s assertiveness in dealings with Meik’s attitudes.
Hurry with book 3. I don’t know how long I can hold on until it gets here.
