Vice by Teagan Kade a five-star read that will have your heart in a vice. This was a great story in the first few pages, then it starts twisting and turning and just gets a much deeper and darker story. Grace was an amazing woman and we get to see many sides of her in this story, she has a filthy mouth and an even filthier mind, it just makes her that much more amazing. Then throw in Hunter and his story, one that will twist you as well as tempt you, he is one man I would love to have wrap his arms around me to keep me safe. What starts as a drunken night turn into so much more. What a great story and as usual great writing from a great author.

I don't normally review books I dnf, but when there are this many typos I get irritated that I wasted $3.99 on something that was barely edited. That wasn't even the reason I couldn't finish it--about halfway through the book I just couldn't stand to be in either of the main characters' heads anymore. Grace, who I suspect was meant to be tough and gritty just came off as crass and bitchy, and Hunter was pretty uninteresting aside from his illness which never really seemed to be an issue other than him talking about it. I assume the plot was heading somewhere, but by 50% it was mostly just Grace and Hunter getting into random gun drawing contests in the middle of the afternoon with low level neighborhood drug dealers on the streets of New York. Because that happens?

I love this book. Teagan went in a different direction as this is a romantic suspense and she nailed it. Had me suck in from the very beginning to the end.
Grace is one tough cop who has learned how to take care of herself in almost any situation. She has not had a partner for almost a year when Hunter gets to town and is assigned to her. Their first case is a murder and when they get their Grace realizes that it is her friend that called for help the night before. The further they get into the investigation they more they know it is not a simple murder but they have stumbled onto corruption within the city including the police department and now someone is trying to kill them. They go on the run and try to figure out what to do and how to find out who is behind it and how deep it goes. With them being this close for so long they don't fight the attraction and the sex is off the charts hot when Hunter unleashes the dominant side he has been supressing since he got sick in college. Will they both come out with their hearts still in tact when this is done? How far does the corruption go and will they still have jobs when this is all said and done? How do they finally get the case solved and get away from the people trying to kill them? Will they walk away from each other when this is done saying it was just "stress relief" or will they realize that what they have is real?

Teagan Kade, I hope you read all of your reviews because I need you to know that I personally think Vice is the most intriguing release I've ever had the pleasure to devour by you. Thank you for your incredible mind and the gift of this book. For reader's everywhere that love drama and an addictive storyline... You will most definitely devour this beautifully suspenseful romance as I have. If that is not enough, think of hot & steamy scenes; will that do it?

An amazing last book in the Beckett brothers series. Ms Kade never disappoints in her magnificent reads and Vice was one of the best in the series for me! The depth and empathy to her characters comes shining through in this fast paced, gripping, murder conspiracy, with its smoking hot 🔥 storyline that keeps you gripped from the very first page! Grace a detective and martial art freak with her potty mouth had me laughing out loud for most of this superb read. Hunter Beckett a detective from Wrightworth arrived in New York and is placed as Grace’s new partner. Oh God help him! She swears like a trooper and takes no prisoners! A total hard nut to crack for Hunter, will he survive it? The twists and turns in this great read you do not expect from this tremendous storyline. Is Hunter her partner or is he something else? Will Grace ever go easy on Hunter and will she let him in to her past?
I highly recommend this superb book as a, for sure, must read by the inimitable Teagan Kade.

Grace Siddell is a real bad a-s cop in New York City. She is as good, if not better, than any male cop. She plays hard and works hard. Hunter Beckett is a detective from the LA area starting in the NY precinct where Grace works. The Captain is not a very nice person and always seems to be yelling. He partners Hunter with Grace. One of Grace’s high school friends ends up dead. Her death is real suspicious to Grace who is trying to figure it out. Her Captain reams her and tells her to just wrap the case up. Grace and Hunter find some evidence on a high ranking figure, and maybe the Captain. They are on the run for their life’s as those officials are trying to kill them.
If you like exciting books with a lot of sex, then this is the book for you. I enjoyed watching Hunter and Grace do the relationship dance. They were good together trying to figure out how to nail the dirty officials. Their sexual relationship was burning hot. I encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Wow! This is such a great story and so different from the ones about the other Beckett brothers. This one has suspense and danger mixed in with the strong attraction Hunter and Grace have for one another. Hunter is definitely the top alpha of his brothers. What he went through with his illness just made him more determined than ever to live life to the fullest and make a difference in everything he does. Grace is a very strong woman who doesn't let anyone push her around. The two have such great chemistry and with all that they have to deal with when they are put together as partners it makes for one strong couple. The danger they uncover had me at the edge of my seat wanting to know if they would survive after uncovering the corruption at work. I also enjoyed the appearances of his brothers in this story. We get to catch up and see how they along with the women they love are doing. I absolutely loved this book and am sad to see the story of the Beckett brothers come to an end. The HEA was great. I look forward to more books by Ms Kade

Teagan Kade grabbed by attention from the start and kept it till the end. There were lots of twist and turns, but I saw them coming from a mile away, I was okay with it, I don't think most will not see them coming. I really liked Grace she is a no nonsense, takes no crap woman. She also cracks me up with some of the things she says to Hunter. Grace is what you see is what you get type. Hunter on the other hand gives one way for others, get him behind closed doors and he is another way, I found it kind of cool. Get Grace and Hunter together and it is all fireworks. In my opinion Teagan Kade had suspense, a little humor, action and hot sex. She kept me on the edge of my seat turning the pages. In my opinion she did not disappoint. If you have read the other Beckett Brothers stories, in my opinion she finished the series up really well. I received an ARC edition for my honest and voluntary review.

With this story we come to the end of the Beckett brothers. Hunter is a survivor and that is a trait he's going to need when he accepts a job as a detective in New York. Grace is "Bruce Banner in a supermodel's body".Needless to say, Hunter's first meeting with Grace isn't very pretty. Finding out she's his new partner isn't much better. When their first case is handed to them, their lives will be drastically changed. Murder and corruption can create heated situations. As the two dig for answers and fight for their lives, lust and love bloom. Will they survive long enough to see if there is a HEA for them? I loved this story and believe it may be my favorite of the brothers.

This is a well written, fantastic romantic suspense featuring Grace Sidell, a kick-ass, take-no-prisoners NYC detective and Hunter Beckett a recent transplant from California who’s the latest addition to the squadron, and her new partner. This story has it all – murder, mayhem, mystery, action, great banter and some seriously steamy scenes. I loved Grace’s character and attitude – very much a ‘Dirty Harry’ with estrogen – or should I say ‘Dirty Harriet’?! The attraction between Grace and Hunter was immediate and intense and their chemistry was super-hot! The story grabbed me from the beginning and kept a fast pace until the end. While I suspected the identity of the villains pretty early on, this knowledge didn’t lessen my overall enjoyment of the story. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A great read with lots of action, some suspense, steamy oh my steamy scenes, a tough woman detective, Grace and the last Beckett brother, Hunter. Hunter moves to N.Y., gets a job as a detective and ends up being partnered with Grace. Grace is one tough cookie, doesn’t take sh** from anyone and can hold her own so when her friend is murdered she digs into finding the killer. The two end up digging too far and end up making enemies...can they get out alive ?
A great read and even though I was a bit turned off by Grace in the beginning, her tough exterior and walls come tumbling down piece by piece for Hunter. I liked these two, she brought out the animal in him, making him feel alive after everything he has been through. The suspense kept me on my toes and the ending with all the Beckett brothers together was perfect.

Terrific read by one of my favorite authors. Vice is a great mix of romance, humor and police drama. Grace is a ball busting take no prisoners police detective. She and new partner Hunter get off to a rocky start but Grace quickly learns there's a lot more to Hunter than she initially thought and it isn't long before things heat up between the two of them. Hunter, has never met a woman like Grace before and he admires everything about her. He also wants her in the worst way and even though getting involved with his partner is a bad idea, he can't help himself. With danger and betrayal coming from all sides Hunter realizes he will do anything to protect Grace.
This story has everything, great writing, a well-plotted story, great characters, steamy romance, humor, action, and suspense. I loved it!

This one was awesome! I wanted something different to read, I’ve been reading the same kind of books for a while now.
I love how we are introduced to Grace and Hunter at a bar. How you can feel the chemistry between the two of them right away. Then when they are paired up as partners, I had to laugh and think oh this is going to be good!! It was very interesting to follow along on this “case” and the work that has to be put into solving a crime. I only wish Bobby hadn’t turned out to be a bad guy. Then again Captain Lewis Johnson has to have soldiers to do his dirty work for him.
I was really hoping to see the whole Beckett gang together especially in this one. Maybe in an epilogue 5 to 10 years later. So we could see how early each brother is doing with all their kids.

Holy Mother of God! This book had it all. Steam, action, steam, suspense, steam. Did I mention steam? Damn this book was good. I have been waiting for Hunter's story and I knew, just knew it was going to be good. But, damn, I did not anticipate that it was going to be this good.

I have loved reading about all the Beckett brothers and oh so sad to see this series come to an end and if I know Teagan and her glorious writing, she will come up with something just as, if not more, spectacular. I cannot wait!!

This was a good read. It's more romantic suspense, instead of straight romance though. It was nice to see the last Beckett brother get his HEA. Hunter and Grace were good together, and their chemistry was great. I wasn't a fan of Grace at first, but she grew on me. Hunter was very protective, and it was nice to see him be able to move on from his illness. I liked the updates on the other Beckett brothers. It was nice to see how they and their families were doing. Although it's sad to see the last Beckett brother's story, I will be looking forward to what's next from this author.

Grace is a tough cop with trust issues, and when Hunter is assigned as her new partner, their first case is a murder. Grace is more than a match for Hunter and they both end up in danger due to police corruption. No spoilers though; this is a must read for all readers, you will not be disappointed! This talented author has written an amazing story, which is steamy, romantic, and suspenseful, and all which had me totally captivated throughout. I cannot wait to read more from this author!

Teagan Kade never disappoints!
I loved this fast- paced story, with one event chasing the next…with some hilarious banter that alternated with insanely high levelled tension or sizzling hot scenes… it truly is rousing!
Add some heroine, outward tough as nails and inside with some few soft spots and a real hot alpha hero… and you have a combination that is highly explosive in professional life as well as in private!
This thrilling romance is another must read you should not miss!

Which is how I prefer my characters.
I loved being able follow the Beckett brothers, and "watch" them each find a girl to keep them on their toes. To see them each "grow-up" and have families.

There is Hunter who is not a small town detective. He has a sharp mind and a phenomenal body. He has dealt with lots of pain and continues on. When he and Grace meet up they are facing a case that is much more complex than they though and the steamy between the two of them is really intense. This is a fast paced with great characters and lots and lots of steam. Really good story line An easy one-click.

I really enjoyed this book. I think it was a good way to wrap up the Beckett books.
It was a well rounded story - had plenty of detail that I don't feel that I am missing something by having it come to an end.
I liked how Grace and Hunter were able to work together as a team to get to the real bad guys.
I like that Grace was able to let her guard down a bit to open up to Hunter and get to the point of their happily ever after.
I did like that Grace was a little diary too!

Well...it’s hard to say goodbye to a group of badasses like the Beckett brothers, but Vice gives us a great ending with Hunter. Teagan Kade winds this series up with a masterful tale of intrigue, suspense, and love. You’ve got crazy characters, multiple twists and turns, and one helluva ride to the HEA. Fast paced intense romance
This is the story of the final Beckett brother, Hunter, he's just as charming and sexy as the rest! I enjoyed Grace, her spunk and strength were well matched to take Hunter. Fast paced, a roller coaster of a ride as the two detectives fight corruption to clean up the streets of New York.

I love a good kick arse female character. NYC tough cop meets a former California sheriff who turns out to be her new partner. They had great chemistry, hate to love. There is something dirty going on in the precinct. These two cops are on the run for their lives, can they solve the case and stay alive? I enjoyed the catch up with the brothers and loved the ending.

Grace was an awesome, tough as nails police detective, and pairing her up with Hunter could not have come at a better time. Both their characters were spot on, and I loved their amazing banter and sexy hotness. The story was entertaining and held my attention, a little dark, some good guys getting some bad guys, and Grace and Hunter turning up the heat! Great read!

This hits the ground running from the beginning. Trying to figure out who’s good & who’s bad, and all that from the same side. Hunter is hot, intense and protective. Grace is even more intense & a kick a** female. They make a great team, in and out of work. You should definitely give it a read

Love the Beckett Brothers
Such a good series!!! Hunter is my favorite and Teagan ties up the series so well in this last book. The no nonsense of Grace is so refreshing, as it lets Hunter really shine and showcase his personality in this gripping, sexy romance!!!
