I love this book simply because I love the ocean and always wanted to become a marine biologist. This book gives so much information about how sea turtles are hatched, how they live, how they swim among many other things. This book is a great one to introduce to your classroom. Sea turtles are great creatures that are fun to study. I would use this in our class as a science lesson, I would like to spend at least 2 weeks studying sea turtles.

This is a really fascinating in depth (for a kids book) look at sea turtles. Filled with wonderful pictures, appropriate use of simple yet scientific language when appropriate. It is clear and interesting.

This series, Undersea Encounters, is fairly good--this particular book maybe just so-so.
