By USA Today Bestselling Author, Lexy Timms. Walking away from Elizabeth was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But I secured a multi-million dollar contract. I paid my fake fiancée and the deal is done, so her work is finished. Except I can't get her off my mind. My office is the only place of escape after her departure, but a tech conference in California forces me out. Forces me to have to interact with other people. When a lovely woman with platinum blonde hair, a sweet southern accent, and everything else about her reminds me of Elizabeth, I can't walk away. I like her. I miss Elizabeth. Maybe a little too much. For His Pleasure Series Elizabeth Georgia Madison
Oooh this is getting gooooodddd! I'm not sure if it's the change in narrators, the change in style (single narrator to duet narration), the added suspense or all of the above, but I'm officially excited about this series and so happy I kept going.
The lead up was great, but that cliffhanger was *chef's kiss* I can not wait to see what happens in Madison. Also, yay for the title. I'm so excited to watch her be her and watch them get their happily ever after.
The audio was fantastic. Dani Staro and Brandon Bonavir were absolutely wonderful in this audiobook. Thank you so much to Dani for the advanced copy!
I will start by saying, I didn't read book 1 prior to jumping into Georgia, and while I feel like it would have been helpful, it definitely wasn't necessary- I never felt lost while listening to/reading Georgia.
I had the pleasure of being able to listen to this on audio and Brandon Bonavir and Dani Staro brought these characters to LIFE. You could hear the longing, frustration, and angst that Phillip was feeling. And Dani Staro's different accents- top notch. I really fell in love with Georgia- she is struggling to take care of herself and her mother and you could feel it.
I was so invested in this book and these characters. I can't wait to read book 3!
This is my first time stepping into this series, and the narration is what pulled me in right away. Dani Staro brings Georgia to life with a quiet strength that fits her perfectly. Georgia is a woman juggling survival and care, trying to support a mother with dementia while keeping herself afloat, and Dani’s performance gives that weight real texture without ever feeling heavy-handed.
Brandon Bonavir’s Phillip is such a great part of this listen. He plays a man who is still haunted by what he lost in book one and confused by the way he recognizes Georgia but can’t place why she feels different. His delivery gives Phillip this blend of restraint, frustration, and buried tenderness that made every scene with him land a little deeper.
The duet format works well here. The story leans emotional, with themes of reinvention, secrets, and two people trying to understand each other while carrying very different pasts. Even without having read book one, the performances made it easy to settle into their world.
A solid, quick listen with narration that elevates the material in the best way. Thanks so much to Dani Staro for the ALC.
This was such a lovely continuation of the series. Georgia is doing everything she can to support herself and her mother, even if that means working as an escort for high-end businessmen. The secrets she carries—and the one man she never expected to see again—make this story emotional and engaging from start to finish.
The narration is a standout. Dani Staro’s performance, especially her country accent, adds so much personality and depth to Georgia. Brandon Bonavir brings real emotion to Philip, and even in the moments where his character is guarded, you can still feel everything beneath the surface. There were times it genuinely felt like more than two narrators were involved because of how dynamic their performances were.
A strong installment with great tension, well-developed characters, and fantastic audio.
Georgia picks up the story with deeper emotion, sharper tension, and a whole lot of heat. Phillip can’t shake Elizabeth from his mind, and meeting Georgia at a California tech conference only tangles his feelings further. Their chemistry is instant, complicated, and impossible to walk away from.
Georgia’s storyline is raw and heartfelt — she’s doing everything she can to survive and care for her mother, and that vulnerability makes her connection with Phillip hit even harder.
The audiobook is excellent. Dani Staro brings Georgia’s softness, pain, and strength to life, while Brandon Bonavir gives Phillip the perfect mix of control, longing, and emotional unraveling. Together, their performances make the tension and spice even more addictive.
A quick, intense, high-spice billionaire romance with emotional depth and characters you can’t stop thinking about.
This was a steamy quick listen that I really enjoyed. The story line was good and easy to follow even though I hadn't read book 2. I will definitely be jumping straight into book 3 to find out what happens next!
Dani and Brandon were great as Georgia and Philip and brought them to life perfectly.
I'm enjoying this series and this book really left us on a cliff ! I love Phillip but he continues to hurt her feelings with the way he sees her "occupation" . But I do believe he will somehow find Madison !!
Had to skim through much of this. It just isn’t holding up to a good story. I will skim the next as I foolishly bought both the 2 and 3 books at the same time figuring they would be good. Never again.
The audio book narration by Dani Staro & Brandon Bonavir was fantastic. I could feel the longing in both of their voices as well as the frustration. I hadn't read the book when I listened to the audiobook and I love it. The narrators really brought the characters to life. I can't wait for book 3.
