Discovery: Oink on the Farm! is written by Thea Feldman and published by Silver Dolphin Press. The genre of this book is nonfiction and a picture book. This book is intended for ages one through five. This book is part of the 2021 NAPPA Award-Winning Discovery 10 Button Sound Books Series. This discovery book is all about animals and the sounds that they make. It also teaches a few facts about each animal on the farm. I rated this book 5/5 stars because it teaches children about animals and each of their sounds. The book has great illustrations and a lot of vibrant colors, which is very appealing to young readers. I also like that you get to push the button for each animal to actually hear the sound of that animal. The book has a great theme, which is animals that are on a farm. I could use this book in the classroom to teach young children about different animals and teach them about what different animals they might expect to see if they were to visit a farm. We could even make a field trip out of it and go visit a real farm. I highly recommend this book.

My son loves this book. He likes to make the animals sounds as we read it.
It’s a good book to help kids get familiar with some farm animals.
