I picked this up randomly at a second hand book fair because I liked the cover (I feel like I'm allowed to do this when the books cost a dollar) and just read it all in an afternoon.
I appreciated the author's no-nonsense, direct, but friendly tone, and the practical (rather than warm and fuzzy) tenor of her writing. While I already do a lot of the things she's suggesting, either consciously or otherwise, I think I could read this book multiple times and come away with a small tip for improving my life each time.

This would be great for a Gen Y who just moved out of their parents house and is on their own for the first time but anyone over the age of 29 will find these to be too basic.
If you still live at home with your parents then this book won’t apply to you since it’s mostly about how to live on your own in the world and pay your own bills. If your mom still does your laundry, makes you snacks and nags you to make your bed then this book isn’t aimed at you. It’s for people who are responsible for paying their own rent and adulting for the first time.
Meh. I'm already doing a lot of what was suggested, nothing new for me. Some didn't relate to me at all, others were spot on. I mainly purchased the book for the financial and career sections. All of the financial activities I already do or have done recently. All of the career activities are things I've done or do daily. It was a good read, just didn't really help me.
An inspiring guide with some practical and doable steps we can start taking to get our lives into a better place both mentally and physically. With the variety of tips and suggestions in this book, there is something for everyone. #getyourlifetogetherish #juliadellitt #tea_sipping_bookworm #amazonkindle #litsy #bookqueen #bookstagram #selfhelp #goodreads ⭐⭐⭐
It doesn't beat around the bush much just gets right to it. Nor does it give you fag suggestions.
Just straight to the point. LOVE IT.
I listen to the audible book but I must go get the physical book to highlight and write notes. So I can apply some of this things to my life. So I can Get my Life Together(ish) :)
Not much new under the sun, but I thought it "short & sweet". It was written in an entertaining way, and as I listened to it as an audiobook, I also really enjoyed the woman who read it. It was a nice recap of how to get your life together,.. (ish). ;-)
Simple, easy to understand and transfer to my life. Love the breakdown of 'easy/medium/hard' actions. Will definitely be reaching for this in the future as I upgrade my life!
It's really just the author writing "challenges" that is very basic or something you would see on any of those lifestyle YouTubers. I don't feel like spending more time on this.
