This was a wonderful read!
Leah is pregnant after a one night stand when she meets Brooks. When she is in danger of losing her new job at a Catholic school due to her unwed state, Brooks speaks up for her. The result is a temporary marriage.
I loved Brooks and his fun, carefree ways. It was obvious from the beginning that he wanted nothing but Leah even if he didn’t realize it himself or recognize that he was worth all the good things life has to offer. Leah was a sweet heroine that was also able to stand up for herself. She wanted her baby’s father to know about the pregnancy and set about to try to make that happen. Unfortunately, there is bad history between the two men in Leah’s life and they must now make a decision on what is best for the baby.
This is a fast paced read with plenty of humor, great characters and a touch of sexiness. I really enjoyed the first book of this series and enjoyed this one even more! Can’t wait for the next one!

Let me start with saying I loved book 1 in this series 69 Million Things I Hate About You and hoped this one would be equally entertaining with a challenging romance , witty banter and a great story ......... it was SO close .
The thing here is that the 2 main characters Brooks & Leah made a great couple, they played off each other and you liked them together BUT instead of the things I listed above this story starts off really good and slowly degenerates along the way. The main thing being that she feels obligated to search out the real father and insert him into the middle of what is becoming a great romance.
The story takes a dive as soon as he shows up in my opinion and never fully recovers. She adds to it with the actions and makes everyone wonder what she is thinking (including this reader) and throw in one of my most hated plot lines of "I am not good enough for him/her" and you have a really great mess and then everybody is supposed hold hands and sing "Kumbaya" at the end.
Could have been 5 Stars so very easy with a wee bit more reality and just let Brooks be the Daddy instead of bringing in a 3rd party for some weird mental "ménage à trois" which ruined the story. I know this is fiction but this was some rainbow fantasy that did not hold up BUT since I did read it all hoping for a better ending than I got I am giving it 3 Stars instead of 4 mainly because it left me feeling cheated with the ending.

The second book in the Winning the Billionaire series by Kira Archer. Leah Andrews is helping out as a nanny for her friend Kiersten before she starts her job as a teacher at a Catholic school. She meets Brooks Larson on the yacht when she is losing it over the side. She is pregnant from a one night stand. Circumstances find them hitched (temporarily, of course) as she gets ready for motherhood.
Brooks turned out to be a really sweet guy. There are not as many laughs in this as there was in the first book but that was fine. The story was more serious with the coming of a baby and all a woman goes through during those months. There was the issue of the baby's bio father and Leah's attempts to contact him.
This series is entertaining and I am enjoying it.

Oh, my gosh! I loved everything about this book! Its my first Kira Archer book but it won't be my last. When Leah meets Brooks on a yacht at a party with friends, she's attracted to him right away. Sure he has a reputation but she's not looking for a proposal, just a bit of flirting, maybe a kiss or two. So when he approaches her the last thing she expects from their encounter is her tossing her cookies over the side while he's looking on.
Brooks is looking at Leah as possibly his next conquest so when she heaves in front of him and announces she's pregnant, he's seriously taken aback. Even so, he can't get her out of his mind. He goes to the school where she's recently been hired on as a teacher. She's in the process of setting up her classroom which involves carrying in several boxes of materials. He starts helping her and they are arguing about her lifting the boxes while pregnant when the Reverend Mother hears them. She's prepared to fire Leah on the spot when Brooks steps in and announces Leah is not an unwed mother but is, in fact, married to him.
Brooks ends up saving Leah's job but to her surprise, he takes things a step further by suggesting they actually marry, then once the baby comes they can quietly divorce.
Even though the plot isn't new, I still fell in love with the characters and their chemistry together. The story was well written and Leah and Brooks were people you'd like to get to know. The story kept me turning the pages as they worked their way to their happily ever after. Looking forward to more of the author's work.

The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby was a very frustrating book. The focus wasn't on Brooks and Leah's relationship. Honestly, I believe that Brooks had more heated moments with Leah's baby daddy than he had with Leah. He and Leah just share a house together and later a bed. There is zero communication and no romance. We have time jumps that didn't help with the book's case. I would have loved to read a scene when is just Brooks and Leah without having Marcus popping up.That guy was a douche to Brooks in the past and suddenly he is a man who wants to be actively involved in his child's life? I just don't buy that. There was already enough friction without him stealing an idea from Brooks. Basically, the book's plot was something like this. Brooks and Leah are about to have a nice moment that involves the baby, but Marcus shows up, reminds Brooks that he is not the father and Leah, of course, wants her baby daddy in the picture so she says nothing, which leads to Brooks feeling like an outsider. And that made me mad. Brooks was ALWAYS there for Leah and he was taking care of her. Leah, on the other hand, did nothing to make sure that Brooks had a place in her life that meant something more than her fake husband. The scene when the baby was born broke my heart. I wanted Leah to take the leap and make sure that Brooks knew that he meant something to her because if Brooks hadn't done something I am sure she would have expected to live with Brooks, the baby and Marcus in a house together until the baby turned 18. Leah gets the award of one of the worst heroines and this book a one-star rating because if I wanted a soap opera I would have turned on the tv (or just focused on my life). Honestly, I think the reason why Marcus was so active in his baby's life is that the author plans to write a book with him as the hero. He was so present in this one that there is no way the author doesn't have an idea of what his story is going to be. And I ain't plan on reading it. Leah and Marcus should have ended up together. I hated both of them and as I said Marcus appeared almost as much as Brooks, so he could easily have been the hero of this novel.

Brooks Larson is renowned as a good time guy . . . . the life and soul of the party . . . not the one you’d go to if you were looking for someone to take responsibility - or that’s how he and many see him. Despite this outward appearance he proves to be more than willing to step up to support mum-to-be Leah Andrews. Leah is usually a rule follower, one who doesn’t take chances but the consequence her only one-night stand is the baby she’s now expecting. She has a new job she’s about to start at a convent school but when they discover she’s pregnant she’s not sure what will happen next. What happens is the billionaire app developer claims to be her husband to be! Now their friends are wondering if they’ll manage to stay together until the baby is born . . . .
This is another classic Kira Archer story - one filled with great characters, plenty of dilemmas, a healthy dose of turmoil and humour, all mixed together in a delectable read that’ll keep you smiling. It is a lovely, sweet, heartwarming romance that I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys this genre.

This was really far fetched and totally OTT & unbelievable story yet it was still light and cute and it had a swoon worthy, fairy tale ending that I loved. If you can dispel belief for most of the book you'll really enjoy it. If not you'll be rolling your eyes a lot.

I always love a good fake marriage romance. Thankfully, Kira Archer's THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNEXPECTED BABY fit the bill perfectly!
After reading 69 BILLION THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU this past fall I couldn't wait to see who would be paired up next, and honestly, I thought Leah and Brooks were an excellent next choice. Leah is strong, sassy, and fiercely independent while Brooks is the carefree billionaire playboy. Their banter was on point and their romance was steamy as well as sweet. I also liked how THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNEXPECTED BABY showed that first impressions can sometimes be deceiving. When Brooks was first introduced in 69 BILLION THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, I didn't think too much of him. Yes, he was hilarious and charming, but he also gave off a no-relationship/can't-be-serious vibe. This book shows that he does wants to be seen as serious and smart as well as someone who can be in a successful relationship. Plus I loved that his parents were included as well. As the characters said in the book, they are relationship goals.
THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNEXPECTED BABY also had some exciting baby drama. It was fun not knowing much about the baby daddy at first and I loved that there was an unexpected connection between Brooks and the dad.It also brought a rivalry about, which caused some good drama and good laughs.
Overall, Kira Archer's THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNEXPECTED BABY shows that second books don't always fall into a sophomore slump, as THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNEXPECTED BABY is even better than the first. I can't wait to see which pairing is up next!

I voluntary read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was anxiously awaiting this book because I had loved Brooke in the first book. This is the second in this series, and I was happy to read about how Kierstan and Cole were doing. Brooke is intrigued with Leah who is Kierstan's friend who is the babies godmother. Leah is nothing like the woman he tends to date but that is not going to stop him going after her. Leah happens to be pregnant from her one and only night stand, and to top it off starts her new teaching position at an all girls private catholic school..Brooke is hilarious, Leah I wasn't crazy about, but it is what it is..Loved previous characters having a part in book they added seasoning. all in all it was enjoyable, some part too funny. Enjoy!

Another favorite trope of mine: fake marriages. But this one started off well and then I felt like I had gone down the rabbit hole and everything happened so quickly. Leah Andrews finds herself in a small predicament. A one-night stand results in a little surprise. She's due to start a new job at a private Catholic school and the morality clause might be a problem. Then there's her undeniable attraction to Brooks Larson. He is this easy-going, funny, popular billionaire who is living in singledom permanently. When Leah finds herself unable to talk herself out of possibly getting fired, Brooks steps in and claims her as his future wife. And that's where things move incredibly fast, that I was felt I had whiplash with how things progressed.
However, this book was funny, with Brooks and the other billionaires providing some comedic relief. Lots of baby daddy drama and a lack of communication. But I enjoyed it nonetheless.
As for the other billionaire Chris and new-millionaire Cass...I'm not sure how that happened. Here's hoping they get a book.

I loved The Billionaire’s Unexpected Baby! This series is really rocking it for me, with romance, feels, laughs and serious amounts of steam plus some downright hot sexiness. If you’re into contemporary relationship-driven romance you should give them a look.
We met Brooks in the previous installment, 69 Million Things I Hate About You. He was the self-appointed class clown, party boy that took nothing serious. The fact that he couldn’t keep his mouth shut was not an issue until he landed himself in the biggest mess ever… Introducing himself as Leah’s future husband to help her keep her job.
Leah couldn’t deny the chemistry between Brooks and her, but their timing was definitely off since she was pregnant with another man’s baby when they met. When he proposes they get married, for a little while, so she can keep her job she can’t believe he’s serious but with no other options and a baby on the way, she reluctantly agrees.
Neither of them could ever imagine just how well they’d be at playing house, and soon all the pretending seems to be a thing of the past. Unfortunately, a baby is a sure way to get a dose of reality, and responsibilities are not always fun. Add to it an unwillingness to discuss their feelings, and the fact that Brooks and the baby daddy seem to hate the other’s guts with a passion, and shit eventually hits the fan.
I completely fell for Brooks. Yes, he was goofy and silly, had the sense of humor of a hormonal 12-year-old and the emotional maturity of a mango, but he was incredibly sweet, caring, and funny. The way he fell in love with Leah and her baby was totally heart-melting. I never quite understood where all his self-deprecating “No one takes me seriously so I won’t either” thing came from, but he seemed to make it a self-fulfilling prophecy
Leah was the exact opposite of Brooks. A high school teacher in a Catholic School, she was quiet and down to earth but could be sassy and funny too. I loved them together, and how they gradually became a family. I won’t say their lack of communication and downright avoidance of dealing with stuff didn’t drive me crazy, but they were so cute together it made up for it.
The Billionaire’s Unexpected Baby was perfect with the right mix of sweet romance, hot sextivities, funny banter and deep feelings. That we get to see the previous couple was a definite plus and I can’t wait to see who the next billionaire to fall will be.

Leah Andrews is your typical good girl, she had one uncharacteristic one-night stand before starting her job as a teacher in a Catholic High School and got pregnant.
Brooks Larson is a billionaire, partner of Cole Harrington from the first book in this series 69 Million Things I Hate About You, a consumate playboy he also has massive self-esteem issues, although I'm not sure I ever understood why he felt he was so unloveable and why he didn't deserve a wife and family.
Leah is briefly helping out her friend Kiersten, Cole's wife, with her baby and meets Brooks on a massive yacht floating around the Greek islands which Brook has hired to celebrate the christening of Cole and Kiersten's baby. Leah and Brook share an instant attraction but it goes no further than a steamy kiss, and then he walks away.
A few weeks later, Leah is moving into her rooms in the swanky school when she runs into Brooks again, the Mother Superior overhears that Leah is pregnant and is about to sack her for breaking the morality clause in her contract until Brooks says they are about to get married. So, they enter a marriage of convenience, Brooks helps Leah keep her job and Leah lends Brooks some gravitas in his work. But when the baby's father finally gets in touch it turns out to be an old enemy of Brooks.
This had a slow start and while I enjoyed the book I didn't really understand what led Brooks to feel he was so unworthy, why he thought he was such a bad choice as a husband, why he couldn't ever commit to a long-term relationship. Maybe I missed it.
This is a very focussed book, we don't see Brooks at work, we don't see Leah at work, all the action is centred around them, their feelings, talking about their feelings with their friends etc and it felt a little light-weight as a result.
I requested this book on the strength of the previous book, that had far more laugh-out-loud humour, I wouldn't really classify this book as humorous and I didn't like it as much as a result.

This had a slow start and while I enjoyed the book I didn't really understand what led Brooks to feel he was so unworthy, why he thought he was such a bad choice as a husband, why he couldn't ever commit to a long-term relationship. Maybe I missed it.
This is a very focussed book, we don't see Brooks at work, we don't see Leah at work, all the action is centred around them, their feelings, talking about their feelings with their friends etc and it felt a little light-weight as a result.
I requested this book on the strength of the previous book, that had far more laugh-out-loud humour, I wouldn't really classify this book as humorous and I didn't like it as much as a result.

I really enjoyed this book. I found the main characters fun and flirty even though I wanted to shake Leah at times. The story is laced with humor and witty banter, which I love, and it flows along beautifully. Overall it's a book I think everyone will enjoy.

When carefree Brooks Larson steps up and saves her job by claiming they are getting married Leah finds herself in a marriage of convenience. At least until "Baby Day". Now she just has to keep her heart out of the equation.

My second read by Kira Archer in as many days and I absolutely loved this one too.
Our heroine Leah is pregnant after a one night stand and is now in danger of her losing her job at a catholic school when she needs it to survive. Afterall, unmarried mothers do not stand well with fee paying parents. The only thing that can save her is a husband and that is where Brook comes in. Brooks meets Leah on a boat during a party hosted by his best friend, he is immediately enamoured by Leah and when he learns of her predicament, he stands up and a "fake" marriage is born.
I adored Brooks, the forever bachelor until love came and bit him on the ass. His usual carefree, hilarious demeanour was whittled away as soon as he clapped eyes on Leah. Love was something he never knew he wanted or needed, until he had it. Despite his confident mannerisms and appearance he had low self-worth and forever saw himself as the joker, but he was so much more that.
There was a little twist I never saw coming and this saw a whole new side to Brooks come to the fore and I loved how much he grew up. Leah was a character that had strength and her morals and although it woud have been easier to keep the baby daddy out of the picture I was glad that she did the right thing. Loved it.

I've read a couple of books by this author so when this one was on sale I decided to give it a go because I liked the blurb. It was a quick, light hearted romance that started out with a lot of promise. I thought Leah and Brooks made a good couple. The were complete opposites in all ways (social standing, personalities, financially, etc.) but they seemed to be good for each other in terms of finding balance in their lives. I liked how Brooks wanted to be there for Leah during her pregnancy and even went so far as helping her track down the father of her baby. However, that is where this got a little of track for me. When the story line began to involve the father of Leah's baby it caused the dynamic to shift and the story to become a bit awkward for me.

This book is a must read. The hero, and heroine kept me laughing through most of the book. There were some serious moments where they had to work out a few issues. I book mark my favorite places in a book while I’m reading. With this book, there are too many bookmarks to highlight just one. If I wrote them all out, I’d spoil the whole book for you. Trust me, this is one you just need to read. It was nice to laugh as I read along.

The worst title ever. If it weren't part of a series that I already liked, I never would have even read the summary of this book. That said, it was actually a good read, and even better than the superior-named 1st book in the series.

Not quite as funny as the first in the series but still just as enjoyable. I really wanted to choke the shit out of Marcus (Leah’s baby’s daddy) for a good bit of the book but I’m glad he and Brooks were able to find a way to live together in harmony for Leah and baby Olivia’s sakes.

surprisingly good.
Loved the cover and wondered if the story would be as cute(showing two sets of shoes, one adult male set and one baby set). Humorous in spots and lovely in others. A feel good read!

Oh man.... where do I start? Brooks is a zillionaire with a rep, his partner Cole is supposed to be the solid one of the two. They just sealed a huge business deal and are sailing off the coast of Greece to celebrate the christening of Cole and Kiersten's baby. Leah is Kiersten's best friend and godmother, Brooks is godfather. Brooks can't take his eyes off Leah and the two of them talk. Cole already warned him off, but Kiersten was nudging her forward. Have one last good time she said, before work and other obligations took over. The last thing Brook expected as he leaned in to kiss Leah was for her to hurl over the side of the boat. Yep. But Brooks to his credit took care of her. And he couldn't even figure out why! He was smitten. Leah tells Brook she's pregnant but that doesn't seem to deter him.

They have words, that are overheard by the Mother Superior and in a clinch to save her job Brook steps up and tells the Mother that they're going to be married. Leah is beside herself. Brook wants what his friends have. Meanwhile Leah hasn't heard from the baby's father and she and Brook marry.
Brook offers to help her find him. What a dumb move. Another face palm moment. That's two books in a row. So oh yes he finds the Dad because they aren't exactly friends and went to college together. When the bio Dad finds out Brooks and Leah are married, he's sticking his face in where I am sure he never would have. Brooks is this unborn baby's Dad. Despite the fact that they married and were now the subject of several betting pools on how long the marriage will last, Brook is really trying. And Leah is so touched by Brook and his caring. It's easy to watch him fall over that gentle love edge.
Of course there is always the hand grenade that someone lobs into the story and dang if isn't just a dandy. I'm not calling out who is an idiot and there may be more than one, but I almost flung my kindle down and wanted to choke someone. For the record I didn't like the bio dad at all. Not even an iota. Not one single redeeming thing about that jerk.
This is a great story and great read. Honestly going in I wasn't sure what to expect, and I love Kira but wasn't quite sure about the blurb. Don't let it derail you. It's a lot more than what you see.
Put this one on your TBR list! You'll love it. Kindle flinging and all!
