Rate this book
Reign is a strong, black, successful woman that has managed to build a great life for herself using the bricks that’d been thrown her way in life. She knows what it means to lose someone you love too well, and that is the reason she vowed to never love a man of the streets again. However, when Reign crosses path with Pharaoh Black, he immediately knocks down the walls that has hidden her heart for years. There’s only one problem, Reign is unaware of the underworld life Pharaoh lives.

Chasity is a single mother striving to give her son the love he deserves. While the father of her son, Rico, is chasing females and doing what he wants, he still manages to make sure Chasity doesn’t move on with anyone else, feeling as if she belongs to him. Majesty Black has had the lovely, Chasity, on his radar for years, sitting back allowing time and opportunity to bring them together. Majesty fear no man, including Rico. Yet, letting Chasity move on is not an option for Rico and he is determined to show Chasity and Majesty just that.

Tempest was once head over heels in love with King Black. That was until King did something that their relationship couldn’t survive, causing her to walk away from him and everyone with the last name Black, including her best friend, King’s sister. Now, years later business has caused Tempest to return to Philly. A Reunion with King was not in her plan, but life seem to have plans of its own, bringing her face to face with the nightmare she ran away from years ago.

Pharaoh, King and Majesty better known as the Kings of Philly are the true definition of hood royalty. From guns, drugs, power and well experience hitmen, the Black Brothers has it all, making them a hustler dream and a hater’s worst nightmare. With all the madness the street life brings, the brothers are learning it doesn’t compare to the madness of being in love. Take a ride and find out how the four-letter word turns these brothers lives upside down while at the same time they’re dealing with known and unknown enemies surrounding them.

Good read

Besides all the grammatical errors this book was sooooooo good. I can't wait to see how everything plays out. I hope Ricardo, Bria, Rico and Katrina gets what's coming to them. I hate snakes, thieves, deadbeats, Liars, and child abusers.
And I want King and Pharaoh to get smacked one good time because they not handling business, moving and thinking STUPID!! Ready for part 2!!!!!!

A good storyline. I liked all of the drama, twists, and turns. However, the grammatical errors were ridiculous. They drove me crazy. I would have given it a higher rating but I had a hard time overlooking them because there were sooooooooo many. Hopefully, part 2 has better editing.

Katrina was a very sneaky, conniving, deceitful woman, and her secrets had finally caught up to her. She had been blackmailed by Ricardo, and she definitely deserved it. She knew that King still had feelings for Tempest, and Tempest was the only one who had King's biological child. Katrina knew that the only reason why King was still with her was because of their daughter, Princess. Katrina had built up rage for Tempest, however, she took her frustrations out on KJ, which made Katrina on borrowed time.

Tempest loved her son, KJ, her daughter Jaime, and she had a close bond with Princess. Tempest had married the love of her life James, who raised KJ to be the big boy that he was, but he died. Even though, Tempest adored her husband, she never stopped loving King. Katrina was Tempest former best friend, but Katrina had such insecurities, and jealousy for Tempest. Tempest wasn't ever going to be second to any man, because she had too much respect for herself. King tried to have his cake and eat it too, but Tempest wasn't having it.

Ricardo had so many secrets, and it seemed as if everything he touched turned to crap. Sabrina, Katrina, and Brita was all in his web, and he was on the Black's hit list. Ricardo may have been the cousin of the Blacks, but the way he carried himself, you wouldn't have thought that he had the same blood that ran through his body as the Blacks. Ricardo didn't care about anyone but himself, he was a deadbeat father, and he was bitter, which was a really sad combination.

Reign had came so far, and she was an amazing person, but she was wrong for how she treated her best friend, Chastity. Chastity wasn't close to Sabrina, but she was family, and Reign should've understood that. Chastity loved Reign like a blood sister, but Reigh was hurt, and felt that Chastity picked Sabrina over her, which wasn't the case. Chastity and Reign both received their degrees together, and found love around the same time. I really hope that their sister ship can be repaired.

Reign had many enemies, that she didn't even know she had, but one had an obsession for her, Bria. Bria couldn't get over the fact that Reign was the apple in Pharaoh's eye. Bria had been around for two years, but just to hold a candle until he found someone better. Pharoah had let Bria get away with too much in the past, but she finally pushed Pharaoh too far, when she came for Reign, now she's on the run. Tere was so many turns and twists in this book, which was a good thing, and everyone in the book was somehow connected in one way or another. I can't wait to see the fate of Bria, Katrina, and Ricardo.

Lawd😳😳😳

This ending got my heart palpitating. But first...

When Pharaoh gave that shout out to Reign at the club, I nearly chocked, lol.

“Well, dang, I guess we got our answer about who that bi#@h is,” Ashley said and took a shot. I literally laughed out loud, lol

Queen, and Teddy needed to grow up, and fast. But I don’t agree with what Queen did because she was in her feelings.

I don’t agree with how everyone sided with Tempest and blamed King about not nosing about KJ. However I do blame him for KJ getting hurt. I can’t believe King thought it would be a good idea to leave KJ with her. He was just dumb and Katrina is just plan evil.

Pharaoh and Reign got on my nerve with the back and forth. But Bria and Ricardo just signed their death certificates.

First let me say “Ghost” plays no games with anyone not even family members. I loved the black brothers.

King poor thing had so much going on and had to live a lie in life because those close to him were not honest.

Majesty was the famed brother making sure he stayed honest but not minding having his families back.

Finally my favorite Pharaoh Black was the King Alpha male. He looked out for his family & those in his camp.

That ending had me biting my nails waiting for the next part. I can hurt people hurt people

The only bad thing about this book was the errors. I’m used to seeing errors in urban writing however there were so many in this book i had to re read many sentences to understand the point sometimes.

Until next review

Good Stuff!

Wow this as been on incredible story from the first chapter to the very last.(that ends on a cliffhanger)😂 The gives a drama that reads as if it should be on television. This was familiar then it is different being that all the ladies in the Black men's lives are being attacked. The dialogue is very good that the story moves effortlessly. This was just so good that it was read in day.I don't want to give too much away because it would spoil the story and the enjoyment you get from something so good.

Engaging one for sure... The story was great to follow along with, couldn't put it down. Nothing too out there so that helped give substance to the characters. The last couple chapters took away from that though, as ruthless as the family was they should've been on Ricardo, seemed like the author just wanted to drag it out instead of coming up with a way to keep him out of the spotlight until the last we see him. I'll be reading the next one and hopefully it won't go left field with a bunch of nonsense.

Omg 😔🤦🏽‍♀️

Now that the cats out of the bag about Katrina I wonder how King is going to do about it...Princess getting shot, KJ being abused I know the family is going through it, but a lot of blood will be shed I'm sure. Ricardo is behind all of this mess and Pharaoh and all the brothers know it, plus on top of that Bria is with him smh and now he's kidnapped Reign that man is wo dumb. Katrina is trifling and I'm glad it came out that King isn't Princess's father especially since she abused an innocent child.....lawd it's so much that went on and I loved it all. Great read!

Wow!

Girl, you dialed up the drama this one. I am absolutely speechless so far. I cannot stand King’s indecisive butt. Out of all of the brothers he is the weakest to me. Pharaoh is a trip as well. I do not like Reign. She’s just too angry for me. I hope that Queen does not take Teddy back! The only people I like in the entire story are the parents Maria and Royal. I cannot wait to read book 2. I hope Katrina gets hers.

Bring In The Proofreaders

This story is good but these errors are ridiculous. It's annoying trying to get through this. Somebody call the proofreader police! This could've been a 5 star review but it lost points due to all the errors. Unfortunately for me, I'd like to see how the story ends so I'll have to suffer through part 2 😩. I hate giving negative reviews but we readers deserve better. On a positive note, the story was very good and I liked the brothers.

Too many errors

The storyline was great. I was drawn into the book from the start. I typically don’t like to read books told in third person but i was hooked. However, there were extremely too many errors throughout the book. I don’t know what the deal is with the editors or publishers but it made it annoying to continue the book at some points.
