Ava Gilmore has a huge problem. She’s in love with Oliver, her sister’s fiancé. What’s worse? She’s their wedding planner. Now her sister has run off to Paris and left her and Oliver to plan the wedding together.
Oliver is frustrated that his fiancé keeps pushing back the wedding. The more disinterested she gets with the details, the more he thinks she doesn’t want to marry him at all. And then there’s Ava. Since when did she become so adorable? The more he spends time with her, the more he starts to think he’s with the wrong Gilmore girl.

Fun and quick read. I wasn't sure what to expect within the pages of this book, especially due to the title. But I will say that I was hooked from the beginning. It was well written, no cheating or anything negative. I figured that it was probably good because I have loved the books I've read by this author.
This book could be described as holding onto something that doesn't work anymore. I think that's an apt description for several of the characters within the book. I liked watching the two main characters, they felt a connection towards each other but didn't act on it. I also really liked that, although it was shorter, it was over a longer period of time. Not an instant meet, love, get married. It was well written for the length and making the story feel complete. Of course I say it felt complete but I would gladly have taken more time with these characters.
Sweet friends to dating and falling in love story. If you've read this author's other books I think you'll definitely enjoy this one.

I was so excited to finally figure out how to get the free books you get subscribing to newsletters to download right onto my kindle, so I was excited to finally be able to read this properly. It is the perfect object lesson of why sisters need to explain to each other who has dibs so crushes don't get mixed up. Because if you wait to long to share your feelings- even if it is long after all romantic ties have been broken- can threaten sisterly bonds.
This was a quick read, but a great one. I'll admit that I was nervous how things would play out because I didn't like the idea of anyone getting cheated on. Fortunately, this author did a great job resolving that conflict in a favorable way. There were some passionate kissing scenes and for that I would rate the steaminess level a high PG-13.
A fun, sweet read that takes me back to my high school years. A very interesting storyline that was written extremely well considering the length of the book. Anything worse than two sisters having "love" interests in the same guy? A fast and easy read that is clean with some kissing. A good book to fill a little time.
I received this book in an author giveaway and did not have to read & review. This is my voluntary, honest, and completely personal review. VICKI FROM WYOMING
Loved this little novella! Sometimes it’s hard to enjoy a book that is so short- it’s difficult to really build up a story and relate to characters in a small amount of time. BUT, I thought the author did a splendid job and I loved this one!
I liked how loyal Ava was to her sister, and the sweet way Oliver began noticing Ava more and more. Definitely one I will probably reread!
I read a shorter version of this story downloaded from a newsletter a few years ago. It is quite an enjoyable read, with two people who care for each other but don't want to hurt the new third wheel. Love is hard, especially when the person who holds your heart belongs to someone else close to your heart.
All the conflict in the story is in the heroine's mind. She feels guilty about being in love with her sister's fiancé... and then they start working together to plan the wedding while the sister jets off to Paris....
I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Fun, quick, clean read. I loved Ava's devotion to her sister. I loved how the whole realization of feelings on Oliver's part happened slowly. It made the love story believable. I also liked Bethany's response. It all played out just right. The cover model--HOT! Fluffy, feel good story.
I loved the story. She had loved him all her teenage years Now she was the one planning his wedding with her older sister. And even worse, her sister left all the decisions to her and the fiancé. Life is just not fair. But it does have aHEA anyway. Very cute story
Cute, short novella. The premise was a tough one to work with - Ava in love with her sister’s ex-fiancé - but there was both and a happy dating ending and good sister relationship at the end. I was impressed it worked, without me as the reader hating any of the characters.
I enjoyed this quick read. Ava's side of the romance was believable from the get go, but I struggled a little with the way Oliver suddenly "noticed" her. That being said, things progressed nicely after that and time was a good factor too. An enjoyable, sweet read.
A fun quick read. I love the movie The Wedding Planner and this book reminded me of that movie. It was fun and sweet. Ava and Oliver were cute together.
I loved this sweet little book. It’s short but it is such a sweet love story I can’t help but instantly love it! Ava and Oliver are so cute and such the better match!
Fun, light, cute short romance. Clean, G-rated read (I guess maybe PG if you count kissing? whatever). Got it as a free story from the author's newsletter signup.
