Great overall information. However, if you actually want to keep a turtle or a tortoise, you will need to do further research into the specific species that you want to keep. It is very generalized and does not necessarily agree with common acceptable practices.

Turtles and Tortoises is a great little book. It's easy to read and packed full of useful information for the beginner. It not only helps with setting up a turtle habitat, but helps in choosing the species and tips for down the road with turtle maintenance.
