This sports romance is fast-paced, steamy, and entertaining. It's a quick read and as such, the romance moves quickly, but it's not quite instalove - pretty darn quick love, but not instant. Jimmy is a bit of a contradiction with his shy approach to women and tough as nails determination when it comes to fighting. He's also absolutely lovable, and he and Jessica fit so well together. Our angst comes by way of an ex who is a jerk in every sense of the word, plus a bit of betrayal that I certainly didn't see coming. Even so, the angst level isn't over the top, and we even get some MMA action as Jimmy works to realize his dream while he also make time to fall for Jessica. All in all, the romance is a good mix of sweet and sexy, and we get the added bonus of some MMA excitement.

She was in the right place at the right time thanks to her jerk of a boyfriend(turned ex). Jimmy is an aspiring MMA fighter who turns shy when he first meets Jessica. She’s in the midst of ending an awful relationship with a middle class jerk. Jimmy becomes her saviour when faced with a dangerous situation and they connection is made. They both face obstacles and together overcome them especially when her ex does everything he can to come between and ruin Jimmy’s changes of going pro. I absolutely loved how in the end she got her revenge simply by loving Jimmy. A great book to read before bed or on a rainy afternoon.

Jess finds her boyfriend with another woman and walks out but he isn't willing to let her go. So she heads to a bar there she sees a handsome guy at a bar who is joined by a friend When she leaves she is attacked by three men and the handsome bar guy comes to her rescue. Jimmy is an up and coming MMA fighter hoping to make it ot the big time They start a romance that will steam up you kindle be prepared for it to melt. When Jess's ex come back on the scene what will Jimmy do and will he keep on fighting we will have to wait for the next episode in this series to see.

Jess is stood up by her rich jerk of a boyfriend after her giving him he's last chance after cheating on her, but it doesn't all end bad as she meets a MMA fighter at the same bar after him saving her from a slime ball hassling her. Romance blossoms but will it last when her jerk boyfriend turns up to cause trouble and can her new man get higher in the MMA circuit with Jess's help..... excellent steamy book, can' wait to read more. The book is not a really long read but the characters are brilliant and I couldn't put this book down and had to read it in one go.

This is a very quick read.

Jimmy is in training for MMA fights and Jess is leaving a bad relationship that felt like an MMA fight. A night that could have ended badly, ends better than Jess could hope for. Newly single she meets Jimmy in an alley, from there its all love and promises and rainbows and puppies. Jimmy wants to pursue his MMA career, while his dad wants him to work. Jess decides to take a leap of faith and works full time, so Jimmy can train full time.

I'm on the fence about this book. Some things I did enjoy, like the MMA aspect.

Very well written, fast paced story about determination in achieving goals and making dreams come true. Storyline is action packed and has several twists. One determined MMA fighter who is shy around woman, one beautiful woman ready to work hard to help love of her life achieve success, one villain ex-boyfriend and friends put in a situation where they need to choose between friendship and money.
That was very enjoyable and heart warming read for me. I hope we will read about these characters in the future books.

So I was asked if I could review this book, at the time I couldn’t take anything on. I’ve had some time so decided to give it a try.

The reason I give it 3 stars is because it’s choppy. I think some chunks are missing and although I typically love an “insta-love” story, this one just wasn’t for me. I love the idea of the story, but it needed some lore development

Good short read

Jess and jimmys story is a hot hot mess. I loves these characters and found myself easily caught up in their romance and hating Tristan. A must read story cant wait to find out motor ftom this story to find out what happened next.
