Title caught my eye, especially as times can be difficult right now and thought it would be a good read, especially with my Kindle Unlimited subscription. The book is what it says: various ways introverts can practice self care.

If you're at all familiar with the concept of self-care, then you probably won't be surprised by the suggestions inside. They include everything from getting enough to eat, sleep, hydrate, etc. to getting out in nature to exploring hobbies, etc. I'd say nothing particularly groundbreaking or new.

That's basically it. I will say it was a bit of a disappointment. I had hoped there might be a deeper discussion as to what other things an introvert can do to engage in self-care but this does feel like someone slapped "introvert" and did some basic tailoring for the audience. On the other hand, if you're new to introversion, have never really explored "self-care" this might not be a bad place to start, especially as the author also has sources and other recommendations.

It wasn't bad but if I wouldn't purchase this or go out of my way to pick up this book. Many articles and online resources cover most of what's here but if you are at all curious or know someone who is new to this, it might be a good gift.

I only read the first chapter or so and lost interest. It seems like fairly common self-care information, repackaged with the word ‘introvert.’ Not bad, but for me, not worth reading all the way through

Good Information

Not everything in this book will be applicable to everyone. The author is correct in saying apply what pertains to you. I can't relate to some of the information she presented. Exercise or joining a gym was never a problem for me. However the second part of the book was excellent. The author knows what makes introverts tick, and guides them toward a more fulfilling life.

This is a good resource book on introverts. It is very encouraging.. It gives you advise on what to do in different situations. Being quiet is not a bad thing. There a whole lot you can do from owning pets to various forms of selfcare. You can even read books to interfere are exercises like yoga or walking.

This is a very good book to read. I had read it from cover to cover. I really did enjoy reading it.

"Introverts tend to be self-reflective and curious, so learning more about yourself is a natural instinct."

As a self-reflective and curious introvert, I had already discovered or figured out much of the self-care mentioned in this book - but it's nice to be validated. And I did pick up some new information as well.

Amazing book - it's really interesting to read about how self-care can be different for introverts and how it's really important to understand that so that you can build in time and activities to help you recharge. HIghly recommend.
