This book was more 3 1/2 stars to me but I couldn't quite give it four stars. I enjoyed the theme and storyline of the story but some of the scenes felt a little forced. The main character was a slightly annoying but she grew on me towards the end...I'd be interested in reading how she progresses in a sequel if that is in the works!

I can say it was an entertaining read and a fast paced one also. The book has elements of many different genres included within the pages. I enjoyed the characters immensely and felt that the writer does a great job at weaving the storyline so that the reader catches all of the history of each of them as well as the present. I recommend this book if you are into historical, paranormal, sci-fi and possibly a little thriller.

I'm not quite sure how to classify this book. Science fiction, dystopia, techno thriller, paranormal. It's got elements of all of them. It was was a fast, entertaining read, though I was hoping certain characters would either make a reappearance or not go the direction that they did in the story. Kat had a lot thrown at her for a nineteen year old.

She does grow up a little towards the end of the book, which also makes this a little bit of a coming of age story as well. There are questions left at the end of the book, but it does leave room for for this book to be turned into a bigger series. I'd be interested in reading it if it was

Great!

I won a free copy on Goodreads. This is a voluntary review. I really enjoyed this book. I would classify it as dystopian/sci fi. The lead character, Kat, is very young, naive, vulnerable and weak to begin with. She does grow into herself eventually and there are plenty of twists to keep you guessing. There are a lot of unanswered questions at the end that could be answered in subsequent book(s). There is a great possibility for a sequel or series and i will definitely be in the lookout for a book 2. I will be seriously disappointed if there is not a book 2 and it would encourage me to drop my rating due to the cliffhangers at the end of this one.

Interesting and twisty storyline. I love the close future distropia feeling, the advance technological ideas. The talent of the main character is original, I liked the idea. Her character is interesting, and matching a 19 years old unstable, but emerging personality. I loved the relationships, the little hints.

There were a few typos and one or two minor logical hiccups, but not in the way of enjoyable.

It was a fast, easy page turner read. I will definitely read the next part.

Thank you for the Goodreads giveaway I got this from.

I almost kept Bubbles on my TBR, but something about the implied distaste for the idea of reduce, reuse, recycle bugged me. And sure, I'm all for innovation...but I also don't think it's quite right to suggest that these two things are at odds with one another. I'm not sure what direction, exactly, this book takes, but that thought process didn't sit right with me. And it just kind of leads me to believe that I'd probably roll my eyes a lot while reading this book.

Maybe, one day, I'll come back to it. For now, though, I'm going to pass.
