Green Mountain #4.5

Der Takt unserer Herzen

Rate this book

Never read this series before... but the novella was super cute and short - so I went for it!

You'll Be Mine was going to be one of those books that would've worked for a challenge but ended up being a couple pages too short for it to count. Either way, I dove into it ...because why waste a book? Especially an audio?

Now this book went by pretty quickly. In it, you will listen about a couple about to get married. It's cute but since I never read a book in this series I wasn't really 100% committed. However, it was enjoyable enough that I would definitely consider diving into - just to get to know the characters a bit more.

The chemistry and romance is definitely there. The wedding was cute too. Overall, it was a nice short book to dive into in between two longer audio books.

sorry but this was a wedding only, boring. I don"t care how great the couple is no drama, no laughs. really not worth the cost. Now I know MF can write a great wedding novella her fatal series has an excellent wedding novella. This one was done for the profit.

Such a sweet, sweet story.

4,5 stars

I can't say that enough: I'm so in love with this series.

The Abbotts are so perfect. They are loud, sweet, funny, warm, caring. Everytime I read a book from this series, I feel like I'm living with that crazy, loving family. They feel so real and I wish they were.

Cameron and Will have such a huge part of my heart and they are finally about to tie the knot.

There are so many emotions and the whole story is so pretty. There is not one single person I don't like in this series.
The wedding was wonderful, the people were amazing, the scenes were so funny and adorable, and to add to the awesomeness we even get a big, oblivious, loud moose!

It couldn't be more right. Afterall, Fred is a big part of everything.

If you have been with this series from the beginning then you will love this novella. Will and Cameron are getting married. From the two of them unable to keep their hands off each other to the three with ladies unable and unwilling to be away from them even for a party to guess who crashes the wedding?!

Cameron’s father Patrick, does he have his eye on someone? In a town with no cell service?! Time will tell....

Beautiful

From the moments with her dad, the family speeches, the wedding dress, the unexpected guest at the reception I think I smiled and cried through the whole story. Green Mountain, this family and the wedding events are pure magic.

As with all of this series we saw other family members and I adored seeing Colton and Lucy, Hannah and Nolan, Hunter, Elmer, and of course Fred!! The glimpse of Ella was a change from the last book so I look forward to her story!

Finally! The long awaited wedding of Will and Cameron, the couple that introduced us to Green Mountain, the Abbotts, and Fred the Moose. This is a great novella that gives us a quick check in with all of our favorite Green Mountain couples and gives us a front row seat at Will and Cameron's wedding.

In true Marie Force fashion, You'll Be Mine is steamy! Not for the faint of heart, but passionate and intimate and loving. There are also lots of laughs, a few little hints into what's coming in the future. And even a heartbroken moose. Fred's crush on Cameron was an important part of You'll Be Mine, and I can only hope he gets some closure after his heart is broken.

I loved You'll Be Mine and loved that we got to see Will and Cameron's wedding center stage, and a brief opportunity to check-in with our other favorite Abbotts. And it was a nice way to pass the time until our next full installment in the Green Mountain Series. Well done, Marie Force.

Marie Force delivers in this not-long-enough novella of Cam and Will’s wedding! The Green Mountain series is one of my favorites and I love visiting with the big, boisterous and crazy Abbott Family! There are lots of family time and LOTS of pre- and post-wedding sexy time scenes between Cam and Will.

Cam’s father also plays an important role in the story and may have been bitten by the love bug himself. There’s also comic relief in the form of the youngest Abbott twins Lucas and Landon as well as a pushy, uninvited guest at the wedding reception. As always, I love the little sprinkles of The Beatles’ mentions and music.

YOU’LL BE MINE is the perfect story to help tide us over until the next couple take the stage November 3rd.

A short and sweet read. It was sappy and a little boring, but I'm glad to see Will and Cam have their happy ending. It wasn't terrible, but the writing wasn't the greatest. Plus, being a short, it lacked any kind of real development. I liked the alternating povs and seeing the other characters from the first book of this series, but that's about it.

This short was very much what I'd come to expect from this series. The characters are pretty simple and they basically tell you everything you need to know about themselves. There's lots of repetitive sex scenes, and the dialogue borders on cheesy. Unfortunately, I will not be finishing this series.

My Review: I have quickly become obsessed with the Green Mountain series and search out anyway to stay in the town of Butler with my favorite characters. I really enjoyed this little novella of Cam & Will's wedding, it had some really sweet touches and did give some nice foreshadowing for later books and relationships. I was waiting the whole story for that one extra uninvited guest and Marie Force did not let me down. I think you could enjoy the series without this novella but it it was a definite worth while addition.

An Abbott Family Wedding

Will and Cameron finally tie the knot and what an affair it is. With all of Butler a buzz withe the Autumn wedding of part of town royalty, there were little surprises throughout. Fans of the series won't be able to stop smiling as love fills the Autumn air of Vermont.

Finally the much anticipated wedding of Will and Cameron! Of course it wouldn't be official without a visit from Fred....loved this part. This a great novella and and definitely peaks our interest in some upcoming stories! Definitely recommend this one.

Very predictable and so could have been included as a subplot in another of the books in the series. There isn't much of substance here.

I would not recommend buying...borrow it if you can first. I know this is not something I'd ever re-tead, and I'm a big "re-reader."

ASK ME WHY has four novellas one by each of the authors in their HARMONY, GREEN MOUNTAIN, SOUTHERN BELLE BOOK CLUB, AND DARE ISLAND SERIES respectively! I've read and enjoyed books by Thomas, Force and Jump and read the HARMONY and GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES. I haven't read any books in Jump's SOUTHERN BELLE BOOK CLUB SERIES before and Kantra is a new to me author.

YOU'LL BE MINE by Marie Force

YOU'LL BE MINE brought me back to Butler, Vermont and the Abbott family. This time it's for Cameron and Will's wedding and oh what a wedding it is. We are reunited with all the Abbott's plus Cameron and Lucy's families. The stories are interwoven with the Abbott relationships with each other as well as their significant others as well as their parents and grandfather, Emmett. There is playfulness along with sincerity and seriousness. There is lots of romance and love along with happiness, tears, loving, reminisces and of course, Fred the Moose! THE GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES has captured my interest since book one and I can't wait for the next book in the series, IT'S ONLY LOVE, due out in the fall. Since there are ten Abbott siblings I'm sure there will be more books to come and more stories to tell and I for one can't wait!

Will Abbott
Cameron Murphy

This is a short story about Will and Cameron’s wedding. The story starts 2 days before the wedding and Cameron’s Dad arrives in Butler, VT for the wedding and flows through Will and Cameron leaving for their honeymoon. I really enjoyed this short story and it made a fun continuation in the series. I would definitely read more books by this author.

5 STARS!!!!!

This is a sweet novella in this amazing series. It is finally time to be with all of the family to watch Cam and Will say I Do!!!!.

Cam and Will are so excited and can't wait to be married. This novella starts a few days before the wedding. We also get a look at Cam's dad Patrick and learn a little more about him. We also get to be in touch with all of the Abbott's and their significant others.

The first night Patrick comes into town he flies in his helicopter. She can't believe he done that but that is true Patrick form. Show off. She is worried about what he will think when he looks around the town and when he sees their home.

Even though she loves it and is very happy here she really wants him to like it and see why she has chosen Vermont over New York. He really does like it and understands why she chose to live there. Will's parents come over that night and they eat lasagna. They have a few good laughs and spend a nice night together.

Will has told her under no circumstances will he be making love to her while her dad is in their home. But, she is out to prove him wrong. Does she? You will have to read to find out.
The rehearsal dinner goes off without a hitch thanks to their wedding planner. Whom, we might see later on in a story of her own with one of the twins Lucas or Landon, but I am not sure about that since I really don't know how old she is but the two are quite taken with her. She is able to settle them down which is a miracle in and of itself.

After the rehearsal dinner the guys go up on Colton's mountain to have a night together while the girls all gather at Will and Cam's house. They guys are supposed to sleep up on the mountain, but like last time at Nolan's get together Will and Colton decided to head back to their ladies. Hunter decides to join them. Will promises not to turn the lights on since it is past midnight.
They enjoy a good night with their women but they are gone when Cam gets up that morning. She is excited and ready for that afternoon to begin so she can see will and become his wife. It is also hard on will it seems like every minute away is an hour.

From what you read the wedding sounds beautiful. Since they love Autumn and didn't want to wait a year to get married that is why they rushed the wedding this year and it turned out beautiful.
Cam has a surprise for everyone. She is wearing her mother's wedding dress. She is not sure if her dad will notice or not but she is ok with it if he doesn't. She just wanted her mom there with them for her special day anyway she could have her. Everyone fawns over the dress and her in it and are even more blown away when she tells them that it was her moms.

When Patrick comes in he instantly recognizes the dress. Cam didn't know until that moment that she really wanted her dad to recognize the dress and where it cam from. Will wag getting more and more antsy the closer it got because he was ready to be with Cam. Neither one of them were nervous because they knew that they had found the one that they were supposed to spend the rest of their life with.

Will and Colton got settled in place and watched the wedding begin. Colton was blown away when Lucy came out on the porch. He was blown away by how beautiful she looked. He couldn't take is eyes off of her. Everyone laughed when she reached the end and he stepped out to kiss her.
Next came Cam. Will was still laughing about Colton until he saw his beautiful bride. Then the laughter left him and he was blown away by her. At that moment he could not remember a single time in his life he was more happy.

As the reception got under way there was some funny toasts and laughs all around. Then something very funny happened that had to be included in this story because of the way they met and got engaged. What is it you say? Well, that is a fact I am going to leave out of this blog so you will have to read to find out.

While Will and Cam were dancing she noticed that Nolan and Hannah were having words about what had happened a little earlier but she knew they would work it out. Just Nolan being scared and protective of Hannah and their unborn child. But she also noticed that Gavin went to ask Ella to dance. She shook her head no. They had a few words then she shook her head no again. He walked off shoulders slumped and a heartbroken look ok Ella's face.

Cam wondered what that was all about but she knew she would have to wait until the honeymoon to figure it out. On the way to their families cabin she asked Will about it and he said he didn't know and he didn't really want to talk about anyone but them for the time being. So she let it go.
They enjoyed their time at the cabin waiting on the next day to arrive when they would fly off to Fuji for a two-week honeymoon. They were both looking forward to the time alone.

I encourage you to read this series if you have not already. It is awesome as is all of Marie's books. I am really looking forward to the next one. It is the one I have been waiting for a while and I really hope it doesn't disappoint. But, I don't believe it will.

What I am really wondering is what Gavin said to Ella. That is driving me nuts as I know it is Cam.

Until next time: Happy reading.

Sorry, way, way too gooey for my taste. There's not enough (make that no) humor or bite to offset the super sweet. Like sitting down to a giant vat of dulce de leche - lovely at first, but then it's just sugar overload.

I love most of the Green Mountain series but this Novella of Will & Cameron's wedding was boring (yawn). There was no drama, no actual story line, no excitement in this book, if you are reading the Green mountain series I would skip this one.
