A November windstorm smashes through the roof of the Bewitching Bedlam, and the damage exposes a hidden room containing a dark secret. An ancient force has been unleashed, and a curse is endangering everyone who Maddy loves, and everything she’s worked for. With her loved ones in danger, Maddy must undergo an arcane ritual in order to lift the curse and exorcise the angry spirit. But, her magic is on the fritz, and without the use of her powers, will Maddy be able to face Ereshkigal, the goddess of the Underworld, and survive? This is not a cozy series. Yes, there's nookie and hot-vampire play time. ;) Reading Order of the .5: Blood Music 1: Bewitching Bedlam 1.5 Blood Vengeance 1.5 Tiger Tails 2: Maudlin's Mayhem 3. Siren's Song 4. Witches Wild 5. This did not contain as much action as the last two books in the series. However, it is still very much worth reading. The ending is particularly fantastic!
Aside from being completely baffled why beings that live for hundreds and thousands of years would want to adopt a 20th century model of monogamous matrimony, this was a really fun read. Action packed, with some surprising twists and turns, revealing more about the world they live in and the nature of the paranormal there than it does about the characters.
A curse is let loose on the Bewitching Bedlam, Maddies bed and breakfast establishment, when a storm causes a tree branch to crash through the roof disturbing an altar in a secret part of the attic. Unknown to Maddie an evil sorcerer had been entombed in the secret room a long time ago and due to the storm is now loose in the house. The curse prevents him from leaving but it doesn't prevent him from messing with the residents Maddies nearest and dearest. Maddie is having problems with her magic it's also affecting Franny, Aegis and Max Maddie must come up with answers and a solution before even worse happens and the sorcerer manages to escape. Him loose in the house is disaster enough Maddie cannot risk him loose on the world. It's going to take a deadly deal to get out of this and Maddie will need ever friend she has in order to survive. Another great addition to an entertaining series.

This series must be read in order. The first book is "Bewitching Bedlam". The second book is "Maudlin’s Mayhem". The third book is "Siren’s Song". The fourth book is "Witches Wild". This is the fifth book. I can't wait to read "Demon's Delight"!
With Fata Morgana back in the sea no one knows when they will see her again. The only thing they know is their Part still stands and always will. A tree punches a hole in the roof of the Bewitching Bedlam and a secret room is discovered. What is the room for? Why was it walked off? Who walked it off? What was in the urn that accidentally broke? Will they be able to save Trey? Will Maddy fall I'll as well? Who or what is the shadow from the urn? What is the black powder? Where did the smoke come from? Can they solve these mysteries without anyone else getting hurt?
This fifth book in the , "Bewitching Bedlam , " series ~ "Casting Curses, " is simply spellbinding ! Join Maddy, Aegis, Bubba, and Lanyear, to name a few , in the newest adventure packed book. When a tree limb crashes through the roof, an odd room is revealed, and trouble is not far behind. An ancient curse is unleashed, and affects many of the Maddy's family, and very adversely. Maddy has to make a choice to confront a very old Goddess of the Underworld , and ask for help . But will she come back alive ? I loved this book... simply couldn't put it down. The characters are so rich, so many sub-plots are involved, and Ms. Galenorn makes you feel as if you are actually a character. I advise anyone who loves a bit of steamy romance , laughter, and some killer plots thrown in to pick up this series right now... you won't be disappointed. *wink*
Bedlam is experiencing some major storms this November and the roof of Bewitching Bedlam falls victim to a falling branch. When Maddy and the construction guys go up to survey the damage they find a hidden room that has been the hiding place of something dark and evil. When this evil is accidently let loose everyone is in danger. Maddy is going to have to take extreme measures to lift the curse and save her family.
I really enjoyed this one. Maddy is more vulnerable than ever before. Throw in a visit from an angry ex (I really disliked him), and a "new" family member she is about at her limit. This book seems to be centered more on Maddy and a little less on her "support". I actually liked seeing how she dealt with things on her own.
Maddie, Aegis, Bubba, Sandy, Max, and the rest of Bedlam’s denizens are back for another adventure. There is lots of excitement and action in this book: A tree branch through the roof, power outages, a secret room in the attic, a powerful but hostile sorcerer, a lethal curse, a perilous quest to make a plea of the great goddess Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Underworld, a final encounter with Craig, and more. This is an exciting chapter in Maddie’s life, but I highly recommend starting with the first book and continuing in sequence. There is a huge amount of backstory, history, character development, and relationships that have developed in the previous books.
I have adored all the previous Bewitching Bedlam books and this one is no different.
Fast paced adventures, here's another book i had to stay up well passed my normal bedtime to finish- always a sign of a really fantastic read. Absolutely brilliant fun. Highly recommended.
I have enjoyed this series thoroughly so far and can’t wait wait to read the rest of it. Yasmine Galenom is one of my new favorite authors! She keeps things extremely exciting from beginning to end! I love her characters and I plan to read all her series! Highly recommend!
I am loving this new series. There is humor, love and best of all a woman who eats! I really enjoyed how the author mixes in the plot with side stories so that you can get a breather from the bad things. It makes this series so amazing.
I love this series so much I was a little sad to finish this book. A little more light hearted than some of Yasmine's other books, it's fun, sexy, dashed with magic and mystery.
Once again Yasmine has given us another, it's like more than a book, it's a part of herself. I have been telling people all about her books. I hope they will take the time to read it last one of her books. Because they would be hooked. Thanks Yasmine
This one was quite an interesting story. I enjoyed finding out how Maddy deal with a curse on her & her home. My one nit-pick has to do with the redone cover: it has two Jack-O-Lanterns on it, but the story takes place in November.
A tree falls on the roof and reveals a curse on Maddy's house and everyone in it. Bad things are happening, so Maddy visits the underworld to ask that the curse is lifted.
Maddy goes through the wringer in Casting Curses, finds out who her friends are as she has to sit out and trust that things will turn out for the best.
Book 5 in the Bewitching Bedlam series. When a tree crashes into Maddy's B&B, a previously unknown space in the attic is opened up but when they start poking around a malevolent spirit is let lose in her house. Now everyone involved is under a curse: Maddy can't perform magic, Franny has been chased into a mirror, Aegis can't control his predator, and one of the werewolves doing the repair has died. Maddy has been calling in favors all over town to figure out what they are dealing with and how to fix it but the last thing she expected to find out was that she was going to have to go asking favors of Ereshkigal, the goddess of the Underworld, without her magic to back her up.
Another fun romp with Maddy and her friends. These are a nice, light, fluffy read and I'm bummed that Maddy is taking a break right now. Ms. Galenorn has said she'll be back, probably next year, but when everything has been crazy these have been a lovely diversion.
I loved this book, the series is one I recommend that you check out. Maddy and her family have another harrowing adventure. You never know what might get stirred up during a storm.
