More of a life story for Mike McCartney, Paul's brother, he still is able to paint a wonderful, first-hand view of how Beatlemania affected Liverpool (from outside of the fabs' viewpoint), and how it affected a family dynamic. Mike is a very talented photographer and artist in hiw own wrtie. Plus I met him at a record storew in Akron, Ohio, called Gravevine (in 1982) when this book was published - and he signed it for me! Funny, nice guy.

I adored this book. I pretty much have a crush on the entire McCartney family (that's possible, right?), and Mike's humor made it a wonderful read. Don't tell Paul, but Mike is my favorite McCartney.
