Night Walker - I was so intrigued right from the beginning of this story and wanted to know more about Ashley and what happened to her each night. Things got intense and frightening rather quickly. When Ashley got talked into attending the party, I was so worried about what was going to happen. Things got more out of control and scarier from there. Then the story moved forward some years and things got even more strange. The ending had more surprises, but concluded things quite well.

Whispering Monsters - This storyt had a very eerie and frightening feel right from the beginning. The monster that Annabel was constantly battling seemed invincible and I could feel her unease and fear come right off the pages. I shared her hopelessness that there would be no escape from its clutches. So many things were tried throughout the story. I was quite captivated the entire time.

Purgatory - This story was unique and devilishly good. I was rooting for Dorothy as she gave Walter everything she had promised she would. And the ending was quite perfect. Kudos.

Gone (Missing) - I was very intrigued by the mystery of what had happened to her family right from the start. All of her questions and her decision to find answers kept me turning page after page. I was shocked by the ending. I really enjoyed this story.

Awakening Aurora - I was absolutely hooked on this story and its varying perspectives from the start. I was eager to read Jackson's take on the events. When Aurora came along, I couldn't wait to see how she was going to change things up. Things were certainly interesting and the ending was marvelous.

Don't Fall Asleep - I instantly wanted to know more about Addy's predicament. I had such ominous feelings when the doctor wanted to try just one more thing to help Addy. The trauma she had suffered and the way that she continued to feel about preventing more saddened me. I was so on edge waiting to see how this would go. This story ended up being a total head-trip and I loved every second of it. What a fabulous ending to an already incredible anthology.

Amazing

This anthology was absolutely amazing! Every story is completely different and so well written. They all revolve around nightmares and sleeping, but other than that they each take their own turn on what scares us.

If you are a fan of being scared and short stories, this book is for you!

Honestly, I am not a fan of anthologies, but there are so many good writers in this anthology, I had to one-click and listen to it at work. I always suggest reading these type of books because it is a great way to find a new-to-you author.
