Nothing is held back in this first-hand account from the parents who experienced the emotional highs and lows of having such a bright and beautiful son fight such a deadly and aggressive disease.
This is a beautiful book about a family that had to go through the unimaginable of their precious son's battle with cancer, to first being given no hope to be given the hope that he achieved a cure only to have that hope stripped away from them. From the beginning to the end, you read how the love for their son, ultimately I feel was the cure for all three of them. Their love for each other and their son was so strong and never wavered. It also shows the support they had through friends and strangers but most importantly family. Which sadly is not the norm in today's society.
