Infiltrate. Assess. Exfiltrate.

Aboard the captured enemy ship, Ascendant, Captain Warden and Lieutenant Commander Cohen must lead a mission to explore a star system held by the Deathless. NewPet is close to the colony world of New Bristol, and they must discover what threat it poses to the Commonwealth.

They have deployed in enemy clones, and have their armour and weapons to complete the deception. Now they must infiltrate a militarised star system and gather vital intelligence for the war effort. What these space marines face on NewPet will test the limits of their skill and resourcefulness like never before.

Can the Commandos reconnoitre the Deathless facilities and gather the intelligence they need to defend the Commonwealth?

A British Space Opera

Interesting read. Different perspective because of the English mannerisms. Premise is fresh, still a space war book, but assumes human nature involves conflict and the means to wage war is dependent on the common culture of the society sending out the armies.

Best to read the books in sequence, not many pages devoted to rehashing the events of the previous books which is good, though there is some repetition of technology descriptions without additional explanation.

Fast paced action with gung go marines

A roller coaster ride full of insane balls to the wall action.
Loved every bit of this book. From the great characters to the battle scenes this installment of the RMSC saga does not disappoint.
I look forward to more.😁

Once again I found myself thoroughly enjoying a book in this series. I found myself wanting to pick it up every time I stopped for some reason. The characters continue to be engaging and the humour is well placed and apt. I look forward to continuing this series.

A direct follow up to the first two volumes, the commandos have gone on the offensive and followed the enemy to one of their training bases where they discover strategic information about the enemy. During a fighting withdrawal Marine X plays a major role and book nicely sets the story up for the next round.

A JE./JE. SYFY. Novel (TRMSCB. - 3)

JE./JE. have. penned the third column of the RMSC. novels where Royal Marines are still engaging a hostile enemy force that they have yet to determine the status of birth of the enemy combatants.
When you engage an enemy of equal footing then your backup is experience. The experience of realizing that the best made plans will be changed in the first minute of combat. These two gentlemen, whether they have or not, have sensed the total chaos in wartime immediately after the first shot. A Royal Marine or United States Marine with experience will smile when given a game plan because it will not be long before ETIAFP. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
