Shadowland

Some things are best left undiscovered. Dr. Frank Philips is on the brink of creating a new paradigm in nano computing so advanced that it promises to revolutionize the world we live in. Before Dr. Philips can complete his project he is found dead of an apparent suicide. The anecdotal evidence seems to suggest that his brilliant project was an abject failure and that Philips became despondent and took his own life rather than live in humiliation. However, Detective Kate O'Donnell is beginning to suspect that Philips was murdered when she crosses paths with the head of a top secret intelligence agency who is engaged in a matter of urgent and grave national security. Initially the two are at cross purposes. But as they realize they have a common enemy the oddly matched duo is forced to put aside their differences and join forces. Racing against time they must outsmart a deranged renegade scientist and prevent a nightmare biological nuclear attack on U.S. soil that will trigger a war with North Korea.
