I got a lot more out of this book than I expected to! The subtitle, with its emphasis on the "more than 100 spreads that give specific answers to your most important questions", is deceiving. The book's strength lies in the in-depth interpretation of each card based on seven different possible themes (general, work, romance, finances, health, spirituality, and empowerment). I took a ton of notes, and bulked up my personal interpretation journal.

However, the spreads themselves are also terrific, with wide application across a variety of scenarios. They're organized by the number of cards required, which makes the earlier spreads quite beginner friendly, and the later ones better suited to experienced readers.

I was a little disappointed that reversed cards weren't covered. I think leaving them out is a major oversight, since they add so much to a reading. I also had to gloss over the predictive nature of the authors' emphasis on how tarot works.

Overall, this is a good addition to any tarot library!

This is a great book if you're looking for more specific spreads. So many books on tarot can be a bit vague when it comes to spreads. Don't get me wrong, I love the Celtic Cross Spread, but I don't like using it for every reading.

Succinct and common sense with the best emphasis on free will no matter what. Has basic generic interpretations of all cards and more importantly up to 100 ways to create spreads to read them. I loved that tahey even have a section on how to cleanse the cards.

I got my first deck of cards from my Baba when I was in the sixth grade (I think she hoped that I would be a decent reader and she could save some money on psychics) so I've been reading for a while and THIS is the book that you can pry from my cold, dead hands. I hate to say "useful" because it's so much more than that. I'm on my second copy and it's beat to shit because I'm always pulling this out. The interpretations are a detailed in a way that's great for beginners and all those spreads...well that's just fun for someone with more experience! I love this book with all my heart! <3

This is an excellent reference guide for beginning and intermediate Tarot readers. It's one of my main resources for spreads that answer specific questions.

This is a great book of pre-made spreads to add to your repertoire of spreads. So many options and simple to use diagrams!

I would say this is a great resource to add to any Tarot Reader's cololection.
