This book was very helpful to me! I recently started exploring essential oils, which were recommended to me by my therapist. We talked about a few of them including lavender, lemon, and eucalyptus. I sometimes use a diffuser and add these oils to help with my anxiety. But, from reading this book I found some new herbal teas and other oils that may be helpful to me, not only for calmness and relaxation, but also to soothe sicknesses. Besides Herbal teas and essential oils, there were also sections on how to get a better sleep, acupuncture, yoga, and even some recipes for some yummy smoothies. I was very excited about the guacamole recipe, as I have always wanted to make it myself. I also loved the sections on Meditation and Deep breathing exercises. These are things that I use on a daily basis, but the steps in this book helped me understand what I was doing wrong. I recommend this book to anyone who needs to find ways to lower their stress, and improve their overall wellness. I plan on referring to this book many times to try new recipes, teas, oils and activities to cope with my stress.
So, I loved this book as I understood the many benefits of essential oils, and herbal teas. The author has written a step by step guide for all herbal teas, listed how you mix them and their use. It is a good book as you can get home remedies to boost you system and treat your body when you feel stressed out a bit. I would totally keep this book for years, as I know the text in the book will be helpful till infinity. See, this is not a book that you just read once, I know that I'm going to check the pages once in a while, as there is so much covered in the book. It is a great read, with brief directions and easy explanations. Self care is important. Get this book.
