**Author This book was originally written in weekly episodes in my newsletter**
Welcome to the world of the Elite... Where nothing is as it seems. All Tanit wants to do is make it through the school year without gaining any sort of attention.
Until she gains his attention. He's cruel. He's beautiful. He's everything she's been warned to stay away from...
Set 10 years into the Eagle Elite future, find out what's happened to Eagle Elite University and make way for a new boss...
Exposed is a glimpse ten years later in the Eagle Elite series. We see the mafia men, their wives and children. Of course, we're introduced to new characters Dominic Campisi, Tex's half-sibling and Nixon's adopted son and Tanit DeLange. I'll divide my thoughts from my likes and dislikes.
LIKES - Mafia wives are definitely mother hens with an IDGAF attitude. - Mafia men going soft in the presence of their kids (and wives of course). - Mo Abandonato-Campisi painting her nails during family arguments. Legit BOSS. - Sergio Abandonato is still HOT AF. - Chase slowly moving on makes me emotional af. - These couples are baby machines wtf but I love how solid this group is.
DISLIKES - Anyone outside the family will undergo initiation but Dominic shouldn't perform the initiation on Tanit. It just made me second guess his love for her. - These new characters lack character development. I'm sorry but they're shallow in my honest opinion. - Tanit and Dom's chemistry are so-so.
It's a nice filler for the series despite of its flaws and I can't wait for Andrei Petrov's book!
I received the Vault Box Edition as a birthday gift a few years back. Originally, each chapter was published weekly in RVD newsletter. It was later put into an actual book and currently available in the Kindle store.
Anyways~
I remember I was so excited for it and tore into this book rather quickly. Exposed is set ten years later in the Eagle Elite universe. Dominic Campisi (main H) is Tex's aka the Capo half-sibling and Nixon Abandanto's adopted son. Tanit DeLange (main h) who as her last name suggest is a DeLange which is the most hated mafia crime family and no longer recognized by the other families. She poses as a threat due to her blood and because she is in the enemies territory. Tanit wanted to stay under the radar but she caught Dom's attention. With his full attention there is no way she can escape now without some blood shed.
Blood in, no out.
I overall enjoyed this book. My largest problem with this book was the chemistry was just so-so and I found myself having a harder time connecting to these two MC. Nevertheless, I still liked them and this book. Lastly, I loved getting snippets of the kids as well as seeing my original favorite mafia characters.
What happens to the Elite ten years into the future? We find the beginnings of the next generation as they deal with the one family that never seems to leave them be... The De Lange Family.
Written as a serial in RVD's newsletter and then released for a limited time only, EXPOSED is not to be missed by the ultimate fan. New fans can jump into the series and get to know the ELITE.
Loved this book and may the mafia live forever through Rachel! Blood in... No out.
Now any one that knows me knows that The Eagle Elite has always been one of my favourite series ever so when Rachel Van Dyken writes a book about them 10 years in the future, what a girl to do but devour it!
I never thought I’d find myself reading a mafia romance book and laughing but that’s exactly what happened when reading exposed. I was full on belly chuckling and laughing like a loon at the these hard ass killers being schooled by their wives and kids.
The completely fucked up unconventional family that makes up the Elite is what you strive for in your family (obviously without the guns and killing lol) The loyalty, the respect, the complete and utter protection they give to each other. The fact that they will lay their lives on the line for anyone of them, man, woman or child makes you love the characters so hard.
Delve into to the eagle elite world if you haven’t... and if you have enjoy the guys 10 years on, married with kids and still fighting their never ending war.
This one was just meh...for me. Part of it was that Dom came out of nowhere. I didn't mind the jump in time, but wished we could have seen our crew with their kids. The cold blooded killers being done in my cries, boo-boos and big doe eyes from their kids. There was a bit of that at the end, but not enough.
Dom and Tanit weren't all that interesting to me. I did like how accepted Dom was, loved how he teased him Mom and Dad. Tanit's dad was a POS and I was glad that she put him in his place. The wedding at the end had a moment that was a bit too over the top.
Another interesting instalment in this series 10 years into the future. Dom sort of came out of nowhere, but he was an cool character to get to know. The way he teased Nixon was pretty fun.
Tanit was a great character, but she poses a possible danger/threat to the Family. It was cool to be back at Eagle Elite U and to get a glimpse of the guys in the future.
I enjoyed this, but I do enjoy the books about our main guys a bit more so.
One of my goals for 2019 was to finally smash this monstrous series. Unfortunately sickness prevented that, but I'm so glad that I finally annihilated this series and can't wait to see where the Bratva series goes as well. I feel like this series could go on forever, uncovering years and layers of secrets. But all good things have to come to an end.
I originally read this through Rachel's weekly email news letter. And it was great to read it altogether. This is set 10yrs in the future of the Eagle Elite series. Rise of a new boss? Keeping your enemies close and all that. Who can you trust?
Ten years in the future we get Dom and Tanit's story...another star-crossed lovers story and the usual drama, danger, and distrust. I just love these larger than life alphas and their tenacious partners. This was more novella length, so it moved pretty fast. But I always enjoy visiting this world.
After reading this in the newsletter, I decided that as soon as it was released in book form, I would get it. Having it altogether made the experience of rereading it so much better. Or maybe, its because, every single time I reread these stories, I fall in love with them a little bit more.
>Book Review – Exposed >I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 15th in the Eagle Elite series and ends in as much of an HEA as these characters can get. The story takes place 10 years in the future. All of the original Eagle Elite guys and their wives make an appearance. I love seeing the tough, violent guys trying to raise toddlers. Dom is Tex’s brother and Nixon’s adopted son, even though he is only 10 years younger than Nixon. >Dom acts out a lot for attention and to tick off his brother. When a DeLange registers for Eagle Elite, Dom is assigned to seduce her in order to find out why she is there. Chase wants to just kill her. Tanit DeLange knows what her grandpa does, but not the extent. She is emotionally abused by him and is used to the threat of violence. Dom’s seduction turns real, quickly and he has to find a way to save her life. >The blood trial Tanit has to go through is hard to read. How she forgives Dom after he tortures her is beyond me, but seems par for the course in this world. I love seeing the guys start to show some humanity when Dom sacrifices himself for the family. This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars.
First of all, can I say that I absolutely adore this series – it’s a favourite of mine. However, this narrative had moments that I found weren’t quite for me. I would have loved more relationship development between Dom and Tanit. Things happened so very quickly, although isn’t that the usual for the Cosa Nostra men and their women? Other than this niggle, I loved the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Tanit. I admire how strong, brave and determined she is. My heart hurt for her at times – I hated how her father treated her but loved how it was handled. I also enjoyed getting to know Dom. His relationship with Nixon is fantastic. I loved the scenes that involved teasing but then…. developed. I’m being vague so you can go into this story blind and enjoy it as I have.
Drama, betrayal, violence, angst, trust, humour and love is what awaits you in Exposed. If you are a fan of the Eagle Elite world then this is a must-read. If you haven’t yet met the Cosa Nostra and their women then please do. This series is perfect for those who enjoy their romance on the dark side.
This book takes place 10 years in the future of Eagle Elite and we meet two new characters. Dominic and Tanit, who are the two main characters of this story. The best thing about this book for me was seeing where all the other characters are now (10 years in the future) and how their interactions and banter are still as amazing as always. Unfortunately, I couldn’t connect with the main characters as much as I would have liked. Don’t get me wrong, they were great, I just would’ve loved more of a connection. I did like the story line and I loved being back at Eagle Elite. The moments between Nixon and Dom were so perfect and I might have shed a tear. I just loved them. Also, two twirls, there were just so many of those beautiful and nostalgic moments. Overall, it’s a great read that I highly recommend if you love the Eagle Elite series.

This is set ten years into the future of the Eagle Elite series. Dom Campisi (main H) is Tex's half brother and Nixon's adopted son even though he is only ten years younger than Nixon. Tanit DeLange is sent to Eagle Elite by her father and as well know the DeLange's are the most hated family in the mafia and no longer recognised by the other families. We get to see all of the original eagle elite characters along with their wives who are all in their thirties and some of the children.
This is Dom and Tanit's story. Will Tanit be able to prove she is no threat to the families and how will Dom react when he is sent to eagle elite to watch over her. Blood in. No out!
“Your father delivered you to the devil. May God watch over your soul.”
We’re introduced to Dom in this story, brother of Tex, and Nixon and Trace’s adopted son. I love the banter between Nixon and Dom. Dom fit right in with all these guys always giving each other crap. So much fun.
Dom has been given the task of protecting Tanit De Lange. She’s been given protection and the family wants info on her and her family. He’s told to seduce her and get info. But this may not be as easy a task as it sounds. Feelings get involved and Dom has a choice to make.
I loved seeing into everyone’s lives and all the kids and love. I especially loved the 2 twirl moment and the remembrance of Andi. Such a great series!
“But because I don’t want to face the nightmares without you anymore - for years I dreamed in blood, and now… I dream of you.”
I've been waiting for this to come out. I do receive Rachel's newsletters, but I wanted to wait to read until it was all together. I'm so glad that I waited. I don't think I could have waited a week in between chapters! Especially with how some of them ended.
*This book is only available for a short time**
If you love the family, it's a must read!
This is Dom and Tanit's story.
There is one major problem. Tanit is at EE and she's a DeLange! You can imagine how that's going to go. This book is 10 years later, so the original characters are in their 30's now.
I absolutely loved that there is more to Rachel Van Dyken'sEagle Elite series. I love how she still brings in New characters that are smart, funny, sexy and just as lethal. Exposed is no different. The truth is, I devoured this in one sitting.
Exposed is set back at the campus of Eagle Elite. Many of the memorable characters are back, but now they have children. Tanit has been sent by her father to come out from her safety and hide in plain sight. The last thing she expects is be handed directly to her known enemy.
But Dom has a choice to make. With the mafia, it's blood in, no out. All choices have consequences, but which one can he live with?
Every book feeds my addiction to this series and it’s never enough when I near the end of each book a feeling of sadness hits because I don’t want to leave the Elite world.
I had heard some mention of Dom since I was late to the Elite world, but I didn’t really know much. He was everything you would expect from a guy in this world, especially one taken into the fold of the Elect. He was hot, deadly and fell for the girl he shouldn’t. Tanit was thrown into a world she wasn’t expecting but she and Dom had an instant chemistry that you knew was going to lead them down a dangerous path.
These 2 quickly stole my heart and I loved the relationship Dom had with all the guys.
This was a good book. I was glad to read about Nixon and Trace adopted son who is actually Tex's brother.
I thought the book was a bit short and rushed but still a good read. Dom was a complex character where he wasn't happy about his mafia roots and not happy about having to torture his love interest Tanik who is Delange.
You can see throughout the book he is stress about not being to have a normal life with her and was willing to let her go so she wouldn't be at harm's way bc of the life but also knew she is safest with him and being married.
Wish it was longer to have more development about their love story but none the less just happy to read about him.

Dom and Tanit are introduced in this book. Dom, a new addition to the family loves to call Nixon "dad", despite Nixon absolutely hating it (Nixon is not his father). But he is charged with one important job...to keep an eye on and possibly kill the new freshman at Eagle Elite. What unfolds for these two is nothing short of a miracle. Exposed made me both laugh and cry. The characters have so much emotion and passion that is really helps the reader feel that they are in the story with them. Rachel did a great job writing this one and I would recommend it to anyone who is in for a good mafia story.
I loved Tanit and Dom together despite this being insta love. I liked Dom and how he knew rather quickly what he felt for Tanit and that she was the one. I loved the way Dom talks and what he thinks. It's what i loved about every character in this world. They are witty, they have humor but most of all they are honest and put family above all else.
Every damn time there's a mention of Two Twirls or a reference to Andy i end up crying! It ain't fair Rachel. Stawp it! But not really 😅
I loved the weird camaraderie Chase and Tanit formed. It was touching seeing them help each other in their own way. I loved seeing everyone again and I'm not looking forward to be done with the series but there's always time for rereads.
This ended up being a bonus book set ten years into the future. Tanit is attending Eagle University and just wants to finish and get on with her life. Dom is the "ward" of Nixon and Tracy who is also attending Eagle University. Tanit catches his eye and he goes out of his way to bring unwanted attention to her. Regardless of how he treats her, she just seems to be drawn to him. One of the best things about this book is seeing how the rest of the families are doing and how their families are growing. I hope they either show up in more books or get another book that is longer.
That last chapter with Chase was everything! Loved Dom and T's story but it was way too rush like 1st day in lobe rush and that was a little over the top. Wish it was at least stretched out for a few days. Would of been more believable. Other than than great book. Sidenote: There should be a list on how these books should be read 1 thru 9 where obvious but I didn't even know about the halves till book 6 and the ones that come after 9 were really hard to figure out the order. Super annoying! Skipping Vice story well cause I'm ready to start the next generation.
Exposed is ten years later in Eagle Elite series and it just keep getting better and better!!! I devoured this book in just one sitting it is so darn good. We get story of Dom and Tanit's and all the loyalty, drama, lies, violence, betrayal makes it absolutely delicious.
“Two twirls. Always two twirls.”
And omg Chase he jus made my heart ache and beat hard at the same time. I love him so much! A must read for all the fans of this Mafia world and a great start for new fans! Blood In.. No Out!
All of the family is present in this love story about Dom and Tanit. My favorite parts are always the ones with the bosses and their wives. My tears were shed as "two twirls" made another appearance and the last POV of one of the original main male characters made my heart sing! My heart has always belonged to Chase and Sergio . . . And to Frank, too. I highly recommend all of Rachel Van Dyken's Eagle Elite / mafia/ bratva books! (And actually all of her other books, too.)
I did not read this when it was originally released in the newsletter because I was pretty sure waiting a week in between chapters would have slowly driven me insane!! So, I waited and read it in one sitting...because that is usually how I read EE books...CANNOT put them down once I start. Loved reading about Dom and Tanit...it was a quick moving story and loved getting glimpses of the whole family. Can not wait for more!!
