The complete, collected short story series all about the Darcys' marriage bed. From their wedding night to the birth of their first child, follow along on their intimate adventure.
All four volumes of the Ardent Affection series are included. (Titles contained United, Wed, Joined, and Combined) An Ardent Affection is a completed series by Grace Reeve.
Grace Reeve writes swoon-worthy stories inspired by the wit, passion, and unforgettable characters of Jane Austen. With a particular fondness for Mr. Darcy, clever heroines, and slow-burning tension, her novels blend Regency elegance with heart-fluttering romance. When she’s not dreaming up new ways for Elizabeth Bennet to scandalize society, Grace can be found curled up with a cup of tea, a cravat-clad hero, and far too many notebooks.
She lives for grand declarations, stolen glances, and happily ever afters—with just enough mischief along the way.
If you're looking for vignettes about Mr and Mrs Darcy's sex life this could be just the thing. To me, the enchanting thing about Pride and Prejudice was the dialogues and the slow growth of mutual understanding and the little jabs at human folly and I didn't really miss any explicit bedroom action. So I ended up skimming a lot of the sex scenes here, but honestly there is not much interaction beyond the sex, or talking about sex.
There are passages that seem to indicate the author had the BBC version in mind while writing. And some typo o s.
I probably would have rated it much better if I came across it on a fan fiction site because it's a pretty good fan fiction but as I got it in the Kindle bookstore next to other books I was expecting a plot, not Colin Firth references.

I read the fanfic version, and I was disappointed. There’s a lot of spelling errors and it’s just smut from beginning to end. That’s ok, but I was hoping/expecting for some cute Elizabeth/Darcy moments, some interaction with Georgiana, some interaction with any other character really and it doesn’t have any of that. Too bad.
A short & condensed post P&P story focused on the intimate (sexy) details of the main couple's marriead life. It was ok, nothing too interesting, nothing offensive either. You can find it free sometimes in Amazon, so all's well...
