Unexpected Love by Vicki Green is a Juniper Court Novel. It is a sweet starting over/second chances story about overcoming hurt and betrayal- learning to trust and finding unexpected love. This is a charming single father romance that will touch your heart.
The Juniper Court Series is a collaboration of seven authors who each produced a standalone story that is set on the same street. There are seven stories and each book is individual and unique to its author, the books may vary in style, content and storyline, but they all have the same inspiration- a person/couple who reside on Juniper Court.
This story is Greer Markson’s turn. He is starting over after a painful divorce, building a new life for him and his adorable daughter in their new home on Juniper Court. He is focused on his work and his daughter, he’s not interested in relationships after what had happened. But a night out and a chance encounter are about to change all that.
Having ‘heard’ Greer being mentioned in some of the other books in the series, it was great to finally meet him and get to know more about him.
The author cleverly uses flashbacks and memories in conjunction with current events to tell us the story. Although this gave us interesting information and perspective, there were times that it disrupted the flow of the book, making it a little choppy in places.
The characters were great and had wonderful chemistry. They really were made for each other. Embry, Greer’s three year old daughter, was so cute and a great addition to the story.
It is a very quick read that was quite fun and not too heavy.

SUCH A SWEET STORY!!! This is the first book I've read by Vicki Green and I absolutely loved it. The storyline is great. I couldn't put it down. The characters are well written and memorable. Greer is a top-notch lawyer who is recently divorced after finding his wife in their bed, with another man. Greer is devastated, vowing never to give his heart to another woman. He focuses on his court cases and his 3 year old daughter. Greer is convinced that he'll be spending the rest of his life alone. But fate has something else in mind. Enter Charleigh. She's a waitress in a bar working her way through school in hopes of one day opening a preschool. They started dating and Greer starts to believe in love again. But what will happen when his vindictive ex wife finds out about Charleigh? Is there a happily ever after in the cards for these two? This is a fast paced short story I know you're sure to love.

Unexpected Love (Juniper Court Series) by Vicki Green in one of seven books in Juniper Court Series. Seven great authors come together to write about seven families who live in Juniper Court. This is my first book by this author and I loved it! Her writing style is such that it pulled me in right from the beginning. This story is engaging and easy flowing. Her details made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Her characters are both lovable and connectable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I didn't want to stop. In this installment we get to see what Greer's story is. Greer is an attorney that has been known to be cutthroat in a court room. Being a good attorney is not the only thing he has going for him, his looks don't hurt anything either. When he finds his wife cheating on him, he can't leave fast enough. He buys a new home and starts his life over and is determined to stay away from women. The one person who seems to keep him down to earth is his daughter. Fate has a funny way of doing things as he is about to find out. I loved his character. He is a strong independent character that has been hurt. He is a little shy about showing his feelings because he is afraid of being hurt again. You never know when life can change and Greer is about to find out how true that is. The secondary characters in this book are connectable and I loved them. They are supportive and caring. I highly recommend this book. Find out what Greer's story is and how he gets a new start at life.

I was really looking forward to reading about the going ons at Juniper Court. This is the first book I’ve read in their series of books.
I’m a huge Vicki Green fan. I love her writing style and her characters. I absolutely loved reading about Charleigh and Greer. Just when you think you have everything in life you could want, something flips it all upside down.
A sad but sweet quick read. A fantastic storyline. I’m really looking forward to reading more from the characters in Juniper Court.

Greer Markson has been through the most difficult of divorce situations. He not only is alone, a single father, and the owner of a broken heart, but he found who he thought to be the love of his life in their bed with another man. To make matters worse she didn’t even seem to care.

After a quick divorce Greer finds himself focused on two things, his three-year-old daughter Embry, and his job. He finds a nice house, with the nice yard on a lovely street called Juniper Court. I have adored this series so far. The good part is if you are looking for a standalone novel though, you don’t have to read the other ones in the series to get this gem of a book at all. It is a standalone, just shines better as part of the series and experience of reading about all the neighbors on the block. Unexpected Love is written by Vicki Green and is contemporary romance novel that is part of The Juniper Court Series. The book is about a man named Greer who is now divorced after coming home and finding his wife, Gianna in bed with another man. Greer was really hurt by Gianna's infidelity, and has no intention of getting in another romantic relationship. For over a year Greer, who is a successful lawyer, was more than content with having his 3 year old daughter, Embry, his little princess, stay with him every other weekend and visiting her several times throughout the week, and staying at work late on the other days, working on his court cases. Even though women throw themselves at him when he's out at the bar, the gym, or the grocery shopping, Greer is not the type of person to have casual hook- ups. Greer has to have an emotional attachment to a woman to have a physical relationship with her.
One day after work Greer makes a stop at the local bar to have a drink, where he meets an attractive waitress, but because of he was very upset because Gianna had cheated on him, he was very rude and downright mean to the waitress, causing her to almost run away from him in tears. Weeks later his friend and co-worker named Matt talks him in to going out after work on a Friday evening when Greer doesn't have Embry staying with him. After a woman comes onto Greer and he tries to graciously turn down her offer, the woman immediately attempts to pick up Matt. Just after this happens, the same attractive waitress who Greer had not been very nice to weeks earlier suddenly spills a tray of drinks on the brash woman, causing the woman's clothes to become soaked in alcohol. Greer couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face after he saw the awful woman get covered in alcohol. A few weeks later it's the day before Thanksgiving, and Greer and Embry go to the grocery store to buy food to make Thanksgiving dinner, and run into the waitress from the bar and they introduce themselves. It turns out that the waitress' name is Charleigh, and she and Embry hit it off right away. Embry tells Greer that she really likes Charleigh, and Greer seems to be pretty attracted to her, too. After more time goes by Greer runs into Charleigh at the bar again, and since it's her night off, she sits down at Greer's table and they start to get to know one another. Will anything develop between Greer and Charleigh other than a blooming friendship?
I liked this book by Vicki Green. She has written a story that is realistic, romantic, and entertaining. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys contemporary romance novels.

Unexpected Love by Vicki Green is the next book in this wonderful, unique series which is based on seven separate stories,written by seven wonderfully different authors each one telling the story behind each of the seven doors in Juniper Court.
This story was one that I wanted to read from the beginning, in each other stories you have a little peak inside the other houses but Greer has always been kept under wraps and only popping up with his daughter, until now.
This story opens the door wide open and you get to the broken man he is, how he is totally besotted with his daughter but is afraid to put himself out there for another relationship. Until one night as he is at the bar,an angel bumps into him and it takes him a while to process the feelings he has buried all those years.
Charlotte or Charleigh comes into the picture, Greer starts to believe he can have more in life and that his needs sometimes need to come first. Through out the story you also see the dynamic in play of his ex wife and will she drive a wedge through the loving couple you will need to read the book.
This is a wonderful book of second chances and soul mates and you will just fall in love with theses two beautiful characters. The writing is fast paced and the depth of writing of these characters feel like you are rooting for them all the way.
Each book can be read as a stand alone but in all honesty once you have the insight into one home you will want to play voyeur in each of the other houses in the court.

Unexpected Love by Vicki Green is a novel in the Juniper Court series. Juniper Court is a cul-de-sac of seven houses. Each household has their own book, each written by a different author, although all the stories run concurrently and there are snippets of the other residents in each book as the neighbours interact with one another.
Of the seven books in the series, this is the sixth one that I have read and I have to say that I totally LOVE Greer Markson, the hero of this story. Greer is recently divorced and trying to move on with his life. He’s trying to make himself believe that not all women are like the bitch he’s recently divorced. There may still be a woman out there who won’t break his heart.
I’m of the opinion that you can tell how good an author is by how well they write the villain in a book. Well, I HATED Gianna (the ex-wife) with a passion. Can just picture her haughty face as she constantly looks at her nails. (this will make more sense when you read the story.
While at a bar with his friend Matt who has finally managed to drag him out, instead of burying himself in work, Greer meets the lovely Charlotte (Charleigh) and there is an instant attraction. Charleigh is all the things that his ex Gianna wasn’t. In particular, she is wonderful with kids and as Greer has an adorable 3 year old Embry, who takes to Charleigh immediately, this is an added bonus.
Of course the path to true love never runs smooth and Greer and Charleigh have several obstacles to overcome which make this book an awesome read.

Unexpected Love is Author Vicki Green’s contribution to the Juniper Court series. Unexpected Love is the story of newly divorced lawyer Greer Markson and the road he travels to find happiness once again. After finding his now ex-wife in a compromising position Greer is turned completely off toward women, all he wants is to concern himself with is his three year old daughter, his job and his new home. Women aren’t worth it and all that jazz. Then Greer meets young, beautiful and hardworking Charlotte (Charleigh) Dawson and his outlook undergoes a huge change. Charleigh is like no other woman he’s ever met and he can’t seem to stay away from her.
This was a sweet, heartwarming story and an excellent addition to the Juniper Court Series. The series is written by different authors and is centered on the cul-de-sac of Juniper Court yet each of these books can be read as a standalone without the reader missing a beat. I loved Greer from the start and I can admit to shedding a tear or two for the poor man, what a way to find out your marriage is a sham. The whole thought process behind this series is to give readers a chance to read a series that is made up of all different tropes of writing and each of these stories will bring you more in touch with ALL the characters in the neighborhood. I am in love with all of the families.
This book, Unexpected Love, is about Greer Markson and his determination to avoid women. Now that his divorce is final all he wants to do is start over and take care of his young daughter. But will that really be possible with Charleigh around all the time and bumping into her when its least expected. How will Greer ever get her out of his mind, or is it even possible.
This is a quick read as are all of the Juniper Court series books. Each one deals with a different family and how they find and strengthen the love they have for each other. I highly recommend this series and have found that most of them are on Kindle Unlimited and I am grateful for that subscription right now. The only downside I have found to this series is that it isn't long enough. I desperately want more.

This is the first book I have read by the author and I found that she has written a story that is easy to read with characters that I fell in love with. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Unexpected Love by Vicky Green is part of the well constructed Juniper Court series. As utterly brilliant as the others this book fits in perfectly.
In this book we are introduced to Greer. A top, sought after attorney he is good at what he does. But as much as his work life is together, his personal life is falling apart.
Finding his wife - now ex - cheating on him was not something he had planned for. After going through a divorce - one in which he thoroughly held back for the sake of his daughter - Greer is looking to get his life back in order. With a new home, and a new start, Greer is happy to focus on nothing but his daughter. Certainly no more women for him!
As with all the others I loved this book. I love how well it fit in with the series. Unique in its writing style but one with the their books I found it easy to fall straight into this story. I loved Greer and the way he was written. I am always a sucker for single dad romances and this one hit every nail perfectly for what I look for. This is a new author for me, as the rest in this series were, but I will definitely be looking into her more in the future. This has to be one of my favourite books of this series overall. Definitely worth the read!

Unexpected Love by Vicki Green is part of the Juniper Court Series. The series is written by approximately seven authors. Each author writes a book about one of the households in the quiet suburban cul-de-sac on Juniper Court, where everyone seems to have secrets. I found this series amazing. I have read all but one. The books pretty much take place at the same time.
Unexpected Love is a book about Greer. I have been waiting for this book for a while. Every time someone mentioned Greer In their books, it made me so curious to find out his story.
He's a successful lawyer who doesn't need anything. He thinks he's happily married and has a beautiful daughter he loves with all his heart. One day he comes home early to find his wife cheating on him. He was pretty much heartbroken and trusted no one.
One night he goes out with his best friend and meets a sweet, beautiful funny woman and feels like he wants to get to know her but he's afraid and has serious trust issues.
Will Greer be able to overcome his broken heart and trust issues?

The Characters are well written and the storyline is amazing. Ms. Green sucked me into this story and I read it in one sitting.

With his good looks and athletic build, all the women fawn for his attention. But now, he’s sworn off women. Time to concentrate on his new home on Juniper Court, his daughter, and a better life.
Greer is known to be ruthless and cutthroat in the courtroom. But that’s not the only reason he’s one of the top paid and most requested lawyers in Sunview.
This is an awesome book/series that I highly recommend and can’t wait to see what these amazing authors are going to do next..

The Books of Juniper Court have been quite an exciting series. If you haven’t started reading any they can be read in any order. There are no cliffhangers and each are a quick read. Each book is completely different in the series so if one isn’t your fav don’t give up. Just like any neighborhood you’ll like some neighbors more than others.
“Well, that’s the first thing she’s said that is true. I hope I never meet another woman that would love me like she has.”
This book packs a lot of storyline in a few pages. There is regret, revenge, jealousy, healing, new beginnings, deceit and hope. Promise to never trust another relationship?

Unexpected Love by Vicki Green is a super romantic story! This was my first read from this author, but it certainly won’t be my last! While it was a shorter book Vicki still managed to make me feel so invested in that short amount of time. Unexpected Love is a part of The Juniper Court series, a series of seven books written by seven authors all about characters that live on the same street. Each book can be read as a standalone, however, since I have read all seven books I would suggest reading the whole series as I found each book to be incredible.
I have been waiting for Greer’s story since I first started this series, I had high hopes for his story and I was certainly not disappointed with this one. Unexpected Love is everything I hoped it would be. Greer made for the perfect book boyfriend, like I knew he would, and I absolutely loved Charleigh. This is the first book that I have read by this author and what a fantastic introduction! I absolutely loved this story! I am so totally in love with Greer – he was just perfect! I loved his relationship with his little girl, it melted my heart at times and he was just such a genuinely lovely person. If I could have picked anybody for Greer to rebuild his life with it would have definitely been someone like Charlotte (Charleigh) she was so perfect for him, kind, caring and such a genuine person. The chemistry between the two characters was sweet and I loved the romance that blossomed between them. This really was such a lovely read with two of the nicest characters that I have read about for a while. The authors writing was great, the pace and flow of the story was perfect and I love how it linked up with the other books in the series.
I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Unexpected Love is an unexpected sweet story. If you are reading the rest of the Juniper Court series, this one is a little sweeter story than the others and not so much hard core. Although I expected a main character with a name of Greer, to be a little more hard core. I did love the way Vicki Green wrote Greer’s character. He’s an old soul but so, so sweet.
This is the 2nd story in the series that deals with divorce, so far. Divorce is not easy, trusting someone isn’t easy, starting over isn’t easy either! But Vicki Green sends Charleigh to help Greer.

Unexpected Love by Vicki Green is another installment from the Juniper Court Series and this multiauthor collaborative just keeps getting better and better. Following the story of Greer, who is a powerful attorney and known to be quite cutthroat in the court room. Greer is more than the sum of his career though, he thinks that he has it all when it comes to work and life, but when he finds out that his wife is cheating on him he can’t get away fast enough. When he attempts to start his life over, he is determined to never let another woman snare him into the heartache that his wife gave him. Keeping his focus on his daughter, Greer is only thinking of her best interest until fate decides to throw someone in his path that he can’t stay away from. Watching this strong independent man break down his own self-made walls to attempt love again is something that I loved to watch develop. Green is a new to me author, and I am so happy that I picked this book up! If you are looking for a great series this is one that you need to own asap!

This is the fifth story I have read in this series and it is Great. This story features Greer as a newly divorced dad, who is afraid to let anyone besides his daughter into his life. It was fun watching Greer coming out of his cocoon. Charleigh is a strong woman who made Greer rethink his self imposed solitude. This was a fast paced, smooth flowing story that was over with way to quickly. The characters were down to earth and true to life and made me feel like I was right there with them. I love how each book also brings characters from the other book in the series. I highly recommend this book and series.

Another great addition to the Juniper Court Series: Unexpected Love written by Vicki Green. This is Greer’s story. He’s not mentioned much in the previous books but he was also kind of a hermit when he moves into Juniper Court. Greer is pretty old fashioned in his dating ways but then again he was married and pretty much skipped the dating scene by being a law student, getting married having Embry and his career. Charleigh is young, sweet, innocent and everything he needs in order to move forward after what his vile ex did. But will Embrys mother stoop to a whole new level just to make sure Green doesn’t move on. I like the pace of the story and the story line it is believable and a common real life scenario. The storyline flows smoothly, there were a few spots that I had to reread just to make sure I was interpreting it the right way. At first I thought the sentences were editing errors, but after proceeding it all fit together.

Ok it has to be said, I love this series! It's so different from series that are being written by different authors. It's kinky, sexy, and OH so heart warming!
Greer has been burned and burned bad. He caught his ex-wife cheating on him and she sees no wrong in it. He was raised on ever-lasting marriage and she was raised on do what feels good. They have the cutest little girls that he literally puts his focus on.
Charleigh should have never been on his radar but she wormed her way in. She's younger than him and is completely in control of her future. She has a job and goes to school but never thought she would fall in love with Greer and his daughter. Of course, a wrench is thrown in the plans and they need to navigate through the mess but can they?
Like I said, I LOVE THIS SERIES. Each book is unique in its own way and each author seamlessly writes this series. I don't think I'll be able to get enough!

Unexpected Love, The Juniper Court Series, by Vicki Green. This is the first book by this author that I am reading. This is the last book in The Juniper Court Series. We have gotten glimpses of Greer throughout the series and finally we will be getting to read his story. I have loved every single book in this series. I read this book so fast, I could not put it down. From page 1, I couldn’t get enough.
Greer thought everything was perfect. He had a beautiful wife, and an even more amazing daughter, he is one of the best lawyers around. Life couldn’t be better. Until he finds his wife cheating on him. Everything he thought was great is now in shambles. Will Greer be able to move on? Are all women the same, will he be able to trust again? Maybe he should just focus on his career and his daughter, and just forget about women.

Im sad..This is my last book in the Juniper Court Series and I so loved every one of them. This is my first book by Vicki Green and I really enjoyed it. I so wish it had been longer, her style of writing is wonderful and I can not wait to look at what else she has available.
I couldn't wait to read Greer’s story, he was referred to in the other books and I always wondered about him. Him and Charleigh were awesome. She was just what he needed when he needed her most and little Embry was a sweetheart.
I would absolutely love for these authors to come back together and write an update on all of these characters and have one more culdesac party..This was such an awesome series and I can't wait to reread all of them in the future.

I really enjoyed this read! I’ve only read one other book within the Juniper Court but I really liked the referencing to the other characters (especially when I understood one of the references) and so I will definitely be having a look at some of the other texts in the series! I thought that Greer was a lovely character; he was really well developed and easy to support, I enjoyed how it was in first person perspective as I could understand him further as a character and I found some of his thought processes to be quite comical! I also liked the representation of their divorce, it was realistic and respectfully portrayed. Furthermore, the relationship between Greer and his daughter, Embry, was so lovely to see and made me love his character even more! Overall, this was an intriguing and interesting read which really entertained me, I would definitely recommend!
