Smart guys learn to trust their instincts...And then there's Chris.Against his better judgment, Chris drives cross-country to Yonkers, New York, to hand something to someone. You would hope. Then you deal with the return trip with Rosie And a couple of un-orthodox interventions.****Author’s The books in the Chris Seely series are intended to be read in order. That said, there's a Background Synopsis at the start of this book.
I wouldn't recommend going to a barbecue with Chris Seely. You never know what the main course might be. This has to be the best of the series so far, but you have to read them in order to know what's really going on and to pick up on the nuances of Chris's health. Rex Bolt is great at creating believable characters that stay true to form. This story had much more suspense and even showed a weaker side to the main character. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and am saddened to have come to the end of it. For now!
These are fun quick reads that really only make sense if you've read them in order. The main character certainly is a little warped but that's what makes these books different and enjoyable. Try book one and I guarantee you'll read the next.
