There are suggestions about living alone and going solo to restaurants and theaters (pretend you're on vacation), connecting with old friends,some simple recipes and several "widowisms", (slogans, lines from poems and song)s like "fake it till you make it" and "don't give up five minutes before the miracle" and "make yourself laugh even if you'd rather cry" and there are even some jokes to encourage the laughter.
