Having purple hair used to be an act of rebellion, but now Gert is just one of many. Which doesn’t sit well with Ms. Yorkes. And she’s not the only one wrestling with who they are and what they want as Nico, Chase, Karolina and Victor all wrestle with their own identity crises…
It used to be a very good series with solid characters, but I am really getting tired with the way Gert acts out. Sure, she was dead and brought back and now she is 16 and all the others are older and she fells out of place, but.... shouldn't she be having some improvement already? or I don't know... contribute something to the team so she is not a waste of space and oxigen? Please. Or just kill her off again. She is just asinine.
FINALLY getting some more Gert and Chase interactions. I've missed these two so much after their tragic ending in the other series I'd love for them to work their way back together again and seeing these little moments together is keeping me going.
Gert getting some attention, a few threads hanging about, a Victor deciding what he wants to be. Extra story about Klara, who I don't know anything about, and what happened to her.
I'm happy Gert seems to be adjusting a little and Doombot is still hilarious but that issue felt a little meh. I want a real arc about Gert, not just stuff about how she doesn't like how she looks.
So cute, so sad. Victor gets ripped. Doombot is doombot. Chase is confused. Karolina and Nico do makeup. Gert does a makeover. Molly orders pizza. Klara loves her dads. This was a very emotion-oriented issue. No action, just thoughts, and feelings. We learn so much about Gert and her relationship with Chase, which I think was really needed. And I think I once again need to bring up NICO DOING KAROLINA'S MAKEUP. We're getting closer, people. Every day, inch by inch. They will be together forever. Chase, you really had to get that tattoo? And Gert, honey. We love you just the way you are. Stop being mean to Old Lace. Also, I'm very glad that we finally found out what happened to Klara. Thanks for tying that up.
